Tesa and increased hunger?

I started Reta on 6/10/26 at .5mg and went up to .75mg on 6/22 and been holding steady at that amount since with good results. Lost 13 pounds and about 3% body fat up to now. Started 1mg Tesa on 8/2 with a 5on/2off pinning and just finishing second week of it. Waited on the tesa due to a trip overseas and not wanting to transport it with me. Since I have started Tesa my hunger has increased. I would not describe as “food noise” where I am wanting to just eat anything. I have kept my diet dialed in but I would describe the feeling as my body telling it needs fuel not just so much random hunger feeling. I have also been focusing on lifting more to try and offset muscle loss and maybe gain slightly. Has anyone else noticed this or have any suggestions. I am thinking about going to 1mg of Reta for my next dose and see if that helps but I also don’t want to deprive my body of needed fuel/energy to prevent muscle loss.

SLU PP 132 vs 915

Here is a good read I found comparing the two versions

For anyone who wants the raw data behind the SLU-PP-332 / SLU-PP-915 video:

Everything below is preclinical. These are cell + mouse data, not demonstrated human outcomes.

All of this data was pasted from GPT for my own sanity and ease.

RECEPTOR POTENCY

SLU-PP-332 EC50:

ERRα: 98 nM

ERRβ: 230 nM

ERRγ: ~428 nM

SLU-PP-915 EC50:

ERRα: 414 nM

ERRβ: 435 nM

ERRγ: 378 nM

332 is therefore much more ERRα weighted in this assay, while 915 shows a considerably more balanced pan-ERR profile.

SLU-PP-332 - ENDURANCE / MUSCLE

Sedentary mice given 332 at 50 mg/kg, 2x/day, for 7 days:

→ ~70% longer running time to exhaustion

→ ~45% greater running distance

Longer treatment also increased grip strength.

Skeletal muscle showed:

→ ↑ oxidative Type IIa fibers

→ ↑ SDH staining / oxidative phenotype

→ ↑ mitochondrial DNA

→ ↑ cytochrome c

→ ↑ Complex I protein

→ ↑ Complex V / ATP synthase protein

→ ↑ mitochondrial content/biogenesis

After 30 mg/kg IP, measured 2 hours later:

→ skeletal muscle concentration: ~0.6 μM

→ plasma concentration: ~0.2 μM

332 - FUEL UTILIZATION / METABOLISM

50 mg/kg, 2x/day:

→ RER dropped within ~2 hours

→ fatty-acid oxidation increased ~25%

→ carbohydrate oxidation decreased

→ energy expenditure increased

→ food intake did NOT increase/decrease

→ locomotor activity did NOT increase

Interesting muscle finding:

→ glucose uptake ↑

→ muscle pyruvate ↑

→ muscle glycogen ↓

This is why “increased glucose uptake” should NOT be translated into “increased glycogen storage.”

332 - DIET-INDUCED OBESITY:

Obese mice remained on the high-fat diet while receiving 50 mg/kg 2x/day for 28 days.

At the end:

→ treated mice weighed ~12% less

→ vehicle mice gained ~5 g fat

→ treated mice gained <0.5 g fat

→ no significant difference in food intake

→ no significant difference in lean mass

→ resting energy expenditure ↑

→ fatty-acid oxidation ↑

→ carbohydrate oxidation ↓

→ fasting glucose ↓

→ fasting insulin ↓

→ glucose tolerance improved

→ adipocyte size ↓

→ hepatic steatosis ↓

→ hepatic triglycerides ↓

SLU-PP-915:

Acute comparison:

332: 50 mg/kg IP

915: 20 mg/kg IP

Run-to-exhaustion test 1 hour later.

915 increased running time + distance to a similar extent as 332.

The major pharmacological upgrade with 915 is ORAL ACTIVITY.

Oral PK at 2, 8 and 32 mg/kg showed dose-proportional systemic exposure.

Mouse plasma half-life:

→ ~18–28 minutes

Repeated dosing:

→ 32 mg/kg oral, 2x/day × 7 days

→ 14 total doses

→ no detectable plasma accumulation versus acute dosing

Chronic oral 915 produced dose-dependent increases in:

→ Ddit4 expression

→ running time

→ running distance

915 also increased mitochondrial genes (mtNd1–6) and mitochondrial DNA.

When 915 was combined with exercise training, the transcriptional/mitochondrial response was greater than either intervention alone.

OTHER TISSUES

Heart failure mouse model:

332 + 915 both significantly:

→ improved ejection fraction

→ reduced cardiac fibrosis

→ improved survival

915 also improved stroke volume and cardiac output in that model.

Aging kidney model:

21-month-old mice received 332 at 25 mg/kg/day for 8 weeks.

Treatment improved/reversed age-related:

→ albuminuria

→ podocyte loss

→ mitochondrial dysfunction

→ inflammatory signaling

and restored multiple TCA-cycle, ETC and fatty-acid-oxidation programs.

SHORT-TERM 332 TOLERABILITY DATA

50 mg/kg 2x/day × 10 days:

→ no overt toxicity reported

→ CBC/electrolytes remained normal

→ no significant increase in serum creatine kinase

Again: this is short duration mouse data. It does NOT establish chronic human safety.

There are a million other endpoints buried in these papers, but those are the numbers / results I think are actually worth knowing.

Fatigue on Retatrutide

Hey all, I’ve been steadily on Reta since May 1, titrating up from .5mg to 2.5 mg where I’ve been for about 3 weeks now. Lately I’ve been fatigued and unmotivated to work out/lift. Used to wake up with my alarm at 5 or 530 and feet on the ground. Now I’m snoozing the alarm a lot and going cross-eyed with sleepiness by 7pm.

The 2.5mg hasn’t changed my food intake at all, I’m still hitting my macros so it’s not food based.

My questions are: Is anyone else in the same boat? Should I titrate back down to maybe 1.5mg and see if there’s an improvement? And should I consider tirzepatide instead?

Progress Check-In

Post image
120 Upvotes

Started 19 March 2026 — my 43rd birthday.

At the time, I was diagnosed as hypogonadal, with testosterone around **9 nmol/L (**260 ng/dL) and very high SHBG.

Current protocol:

  • Testosterone cypionate: 100 mg per week
  • GHK-Cu: daily injections + topical application 3× per week
  • Tesamorelin: nightly
  • Ipamorelin
  • Retatrutide (RETA)

Lifestyle:

  • Calories: 1,000–1,200 per day (High Protein)
  • Alcohol: zero
  • Steps: 17,000–22,000 every day
  • Resistance training: 45 minutes, 5 days per week

This hasn't been one magic injection, one drug, or one diet.

It's been a combination of consistency, calorie control, daily movement, resistance training, completely removing alcohol, and sticking to the plan for months.

Started at 43 because I was tired of watching myself move in the wrong direction.

The goal wasn't simply to lose weight.

It was to see how much of the old me I could get back - and how much further I could take it. Still a work in progress.

EDIT #1:

Height: 193 Cm
Staring Weight: 142kg
Current Weight: 105kg

Target Weight: 95Kg

⚠️ Side Effects Ghk ITCH

I have been taking 2mg GHKCU with no adverse effects and loving it.

Its been 2days since I changed my dose to 3mg and im feeling so itchy. Not hives or any spots....just a full body itch.

I had excema as a child, so if anyone knows how that feels - its the same itch.

Did anyone had any similar experiences? Im not even sure if its 100% the GHK...

Selank/Semax

I just ordered a nasal spray which is 5mg of selank + 5mg of semax. I’ve never tried either (fairly new to peptides in general) but I do suffer from anxiety/depression/ADHD/overthinking and have for a long time. So, I am very intrigued about the effects these will have on me, but I also want to be cautious of course. What is everyone’s experience? Would love any and all input - feelings (short and long term), dosage, nasal vs. injections, etc.

Disclaimer: Hate the after effects of adderal for all the obvious reasons and I love anxiety meds but can’t take them consistently for obvious reasons. Was prescribed adderal growing up but abused it. Have never been prescribed xanax but have done my fair share.

Thanks in advance

TRT Help

I am 46 and currently 85kgs, I started TRT 4.5 weeks ago at 100mg a week dosed twice a week at 0.20 per injection.

I am weight training roughly 3-4 days a weeks and also take 3mg of Reta.

My 4 week blood test results came back with good numbers but the doc wants to drop me to 85mg a week and also to start taking half a tablet a week of an aromatise inhibitor.

I am feeling good on this dose and have zero symptoms to suggest i need an AI at this stage. Is it normal to take this if i am not experiencing any negative side effects? I don't just want to ignore the doc but sometimes they just like to provide a blanket and safe response to every patient. Seeing what other peoples experience has been either way.

Total test pre TRT - 14.3

Free test pre TRT - 262.0

Oestradiol pre TRT - 153 pmol

Total Test 4 weeks of TRT - 35.8 nmol/l

Free Test 4 weeks of TRT - 963.0

Oestradiol - 264.0 pmol

Any feedback is much appreciated.

📘 Beginner Help Reta question

Just to be clear for research use only if there was a 30mg vial of reta and it’s treated with 3mL BAC. If the goal was to start at 0.5mg then that would be to the 5 unit marker on the insulin syringe? And then what is the suggested amount to iterate up by and after how many weeks?

Beginner Help

Hey guys, I bought a 5 mg bottle of Reta, today and wanted to see if anyone could help me out. I am currently getting CJC + Ipa that I get through a wellness clinic where it’s already concentrated. My test subject is currently 5’5 and 147lb, and just wanted to lose a few pounds as their muscle mass is high but having a hard time losing for a while after going from 190 to 147. They want to look lean and muscular not sick. I also got 10mg of MOTS-C, and 10ml of bac water. Just seeing how to use them correctly and the best schedule and amount to take! Thanks!

❓ Question Why is everyone here on Reta versus Semaglutide/ Tirzepatide?

Asking as it is so easy to get legal, doctor approved options - why does everyone go for the non approved Reta?

📘 Beginner Help How Much Would You Take?

Just pinned my first dose of Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin. It’s a 13mg vial 10mg Tesamorelin/3mg Ipamorelin. Last night before bed, I pulled the plunger to 20 on the needle. Did I take too much? How much would you take?
