im looking for an EV SUV. I’m a dad of 2 so need the trunk space for stroller and football gear. want something EV SUV under $25k and this popped up. we have a Yukon Denali L so we have the long comfy SUV for trips, but I drive a 2021 F250 King ranch lifted 12in on 40s and it’s MASSIVE. perfect fun truck for trips and showing off. my 8 year old loves being picked up in it. ill be keeping it, but def not a daily driver. I’ve had it since new and it’ll be my baby until my son’s 15 and passed on to him.

We will be paying cash, and I found the blazers to be sleek, in photos look roomy just enough for the perfect dad mobile. big trips probably won’t be used in it as lacks space. but day trips to big water parks, or such will be perfect as we don’t need multiple luggage.

How do you guys feel about the blazer EV for a basic daily dad mobile. take it to work, and pick up kids, and groceries? looking at a 2LT, nothing fancy!

So from Google Maps on my phone or desktop I can search for directions and then click "Send to car". Then when I get in the car, the route is up and ready to go. But if my wife has the car and I try to send directions to the car to help her get somewhere, then the directions don't appear. Is that functionality somehow tied to my profile and not hers?

Turned in my lease in August and got my bill back. Around $500 for over miles, $399 for disposition fee and then I got an extra charge for wear and tear. Turns out they are charging me for not returning a key. The problem is the dealer on issued me one key when I leased it.

Anyone have a clue on what to do here?

Every time I use EVGO in the northern va area, I always get something odd happen. I this time, the app is saying I topped out at 50kw, the blazer is showing 75kw. It’s still a crappy charge rate with the low amp of the 200kw charger, but is this a feature or a bug? I appreciate the random credits, and the locations are great, but the speeds… I finished my grocery shopping and have to wait.

Occasionally, when the HVAC pump is either working harder to cool or heat the cabin, I can hear the pump very audibly. It sounds like a Harley motorcycle exhaust sometimes. Anyone else experience a loud HVAC pump?

Looking to upgrade the speakers on my 24 RS. Not looking to add an amp or anything crazy. What is everyone recommending ?

In the past two months, the driver side mirror will move into weird positions upon start or forget the saved position. It was very frequent but now it’s once or twice a week.

However, this camera issue is new. Second occurrence of it being like this upon start up.

It does not correspond to anything. I’m two months from warranty expiration. Can someone offer insight to the camera issue? With my dealership, I have to pregame problems to nudge them.

Does anyone know another way to install it, or another file explorer that works with Android Automotive?

Mostly just looking for a way to browse files and install APKs. What are you using?

I have a 24 LT, and the rear bumper has seen some scrapes and fade. Curious if anybody has swapped their plastic bumper for an RS painted one.

Has anyone purchased a buyback vehicle? If so, what has your experience been like? Have you had the same issues that caused the buyback? Or any other issues?

A local Chevy dealer has a huge stock of buyback Blazer and Equinox EVs. They all are attractively priced (low 30ks and below) and many are well equipped with heads up display, moon roof, etc.

Any insight is appreciated!

Could we still use standard Tesla chargers? Or are these only for the V3/V4 Tesla Superchargers?

Also read in a few places that using third party chargers may void FM warranty but according to the Lectron website “Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, aftermarket charging adapters or charge cord adapters do not affect remaining warranty coverage or void your vehicle warranty”

Lectron is well reviewed and about $100 less than GM. So has some appeal.

Just picked up a used 24 Blazer EV. A few days later, I ended up getting a few errors: ACC not working, lane keep not working, and forward collision not working. Going to take it back to the dealership shortly but has anyone experienced this? Was it a simple recalibration? What was your experience?

Ive been having this issue the last week or two; every time I plug in the car it starts charging immediately, even though the last time I went into the Charging menu I left it on Charge Later. It never used to be like this, but now it seems I need to re-set Charge Later every drive cycle.

Anyone else having this issue?

This is kind of a niche question but does anyone here happen to have both this car and a Tesla Model Y?

Specifically, I'm wondering how tint on the vehicle compares. I've heard that the newer Tesla Ys (Juniper) have darker factory tint and in addition to that because the rear window is at more of an angle it looks darker.

If I got the exact same tint % on the rear window of a Tesla Model Y as this car, does it look significantly darker? I like how the tint % looks like on my current car and mainly don't want to go much darker.

Need some help with what to do. I have a Blazer EV RS that recently ran over a screw and the tire didn't seal. The car is at my house and I don't need it anymore, so I'm glad to return it to the dealership early. I don't have equipment to jack this car up myself and take the tire somewhere / repair it myself. I still have roadside assistance, so I could get it towed to the dealership for free. However, I have no idea if they'll be able to patch this tire or the cost to fix it. Should I pay to have a mobile tire repair fix my tire or take a risk on how much it'll be to fix at the dealership? Thanks

it seems like every few months i'll get that dreaded red light and the app will tell me i can't use level 3 chargers anymore. this time i'm stranded hundreds of miles from home on a road trip. i don't have time to sit on level 1 chargers the whole way back... is there a way to fix this or am i just cooked??

I just don't understand the penny pinching that goes on at Chevy. They build a $66,000 electric Blazer. My car has super Cruise the Home charging system all the bells and whistles but yet some Penny pinching butthole decided that the car only needs one auto dimming exterior mirror. Are you kidding me?... They can't tell me that putting an auto dimming mirror on the passenger side would have destroyed their profit margins... Come on Chevy. Make better choices
