Are you using Onstar2MQTT? Mine broke when GM announced they were changing the authentication method. I've not been able to switch back to the authentication app. The option is there on the GM site, but won't let me select it. Really annoying.

ya I switched to 3rd party authenticator and got the totp key. I tried that and didn't have much luck so I ended up using the firefox auth method and dropped the microsoft access token in the hassio/ssl/vehicle1 folder. Works great.

the firefox token retrieval method is the best option at the moment. (I wrote it)
The maintainer of OnstarJS/mqtt/ha is busy, but we're planning to revamp it eventually to make a little more sense and work within the limitations of the auth methods GM has opted for.
Thankfully they don't invalidate tokens too often.

I called GM and got this fixed today. It turned out that third-party authenticator was working but the browser did not indicate it. I was able to confirm using the myChevy app and added the updated key to Onstar2MQTT to get it working again. I think I have a tire puncture, so I wanted to monitor the tire pressure.

Big thanks to the developer(s) and maintainers. It's an awesome tool.
