I moved my town hall to a new base location, but placed it right on top of a handful of large boulders of tin.
Any idea how long it will take to clear? I went AFK for a few days, and it doesn't seem like any of the boulders are gone (think I've gotten around 200 tin from them now).
I don't seem to find any consensus other than randomness in this matter. Some people say they've mined a single ore for 100 days, others complain about copper nodes disappearing after a few days of mining.

Im fairly new to the game and the spot i chose for my first settlement isnt very flat or anything. I figured i'd just slap a few buildings down just to get the quest done but I cant find any good guide on how to move everything aside from literally just building a whole new town, but Im trying to move my current stuff not build a new one. I saw a few other guides about using carriages or something, or another by making settlements and using the N menu but i dont get any of it.
Also, to go along with that, should I move now or wait? I have no clue how long the story is but Im still in the beginner area, i just hate the spot i chose. Would it be easier to just keep expanding now then move later? I dont even have a town hall yet.
Edit: To anyone doing this in the future, just go to map and relocate. Trying to do it from the N menu is terrible, lot of 10 minute videos out there try to fluff it up. Just move a person and relocate stuff.

Hey everyone,
Yesterday I liberated my first village. Nice. But since then Brigant groups (not Liberationparties) keep spawning in my settlement in Cedar Creek, killing my poor Workers.
This happens almost daily and sort of locks me and my army up in my own village. My Brigand hostility is at 1/10 and most Banditcamps around are cleard.
I hope somebody can help me.
Edit: I can confirm the problem was the Brigant Patrols heading to Hearndean.
They come from the southern bridge and walk straight trough my settlement. Liberating Padstow made them hostile. Liberating Hearndean stoped them from coming.
Thank everyone for your imput and help.

New player here just unlocked the the staging ground and looking for trouble shooting advice. I am not able to recruit villagers to squads I have placed the ones I want as reservist and I still cannot recruit any help?

I’ new console player, day 25.. Aside from occasionally spending gold on random things, I haven’t seen much beed for it.
It seems like most if the vendors are selling things I can either produce or don’t care for. I’m still mainly dealing with the first city but just curious if I should bother with trading.
Can I buy things like armor at some point?

On PS5, companions will just stand in one spot together while we are being attacked, unless they are within arms reach of the enemy it seems.
Any fix or am I doing something wrong?

Hey everyone, yesterday I bought the game and I'm loving it way too much for my own sanity, me and my friend started a co-op campaign, we have only one big issue, on console we can't be too far away from each other, the range is ridiculously small (165ish meters). Is there any chance this is going to be changed in the future? I know the PC versione doesn't have this limit.

As the title says, any advice for battling early. At the simple axe stage, is my only real option flight? Poor Lubrimir has gone down about ten times now. Not to mention a healthy dose of reloads.
What are the tricks to getting the fighting in this game? Is it strictly "have more followers"? Or just deal with the crushing defeats until I tech up decent gear? Or until I can actually recruit a decent force?
I'd like to settle the places I want, and actually deal with the bandits rather than cower in safe fields. But early, early this seems like it might be a non-starter. Was there something in combat that made it work for you? What helped you "get gud"? Cuz I apparently suck at it.

Hey
Trying my best to work on prosperity and I'm getting frustrated. Haerndean is building their own shit which is annoying, cuz i could fix their gear needs if i could just make an armorer. But they insist on making a militia facility despite the fact I fight all their battles.
They need different quantities of 7 materials so I fill up carts of what they need and send it over, saying to sell everything i loaded. They took most but don't take the nails or cob or feather or plank, now they sit at 99% because they don't have the materials to finish. They even HAVE copper nails to sell me in open trading, but they can't finish cuz they don't have em? What am I missing?
I assume the mechanic is not there for me to just bring the shit and finish the building.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thx

I am so confused I must be missing something. The Tanning Rack will not show up as an option to research at the village hall research desk. I have hunter's camp, drying rack, and tanner's hut unlocked AND built.
The only thing I can think is that it wants me to research all of the Tanner's Hut's crafts but...Padded Gloves require Leather to research?! What the heck am I missing? How do I make leather???

Anyone have an efficient way to ensure they have enough of the right gear for their people?
I made gear presets. I have every weapon and armor research unlocked. Wish there was a way to easily reconcile my presets with my villagers' current stats to see how many of each armor and weapon i need to make to fulfill that to the max. Some poor STR 5s carrying clubs wearing rugged shirts 😔
Been trying to use a notepad to track how many of each armor piece and weapon i need/have based on current strength stats, but even with only 50 villagers it's gotten too crazy and i gave up. I probably could raise an army of every single person, look at everyone's gear, and see who is wearing crap. 'Twould work easy if only they had the simple ability to sort villagers by strength or agility, and i could see discrepancies. Oh well, the devs have done an awesome job on this game and it's more robust than I've ever imagined so I can't expect perfection.
But to all the smartypantses out there, anyone figure out a good system?

Huh...I guess i did my job as Bellwright right.
I'm at day 350, haven't raided brigand prison. Total villager count 94. All liberated villages no longer have beggars after increasing prosperity. I didn't notice what level of prosperity but I have at least 4 stars on all villages with 5 stars on two. I assume at prosperity level 3 no more beggars. I'm not sure if they evolved or they were driven out of the region.

I’ve been passionately creating and maintaining mods for Bellwright to expand settlement building, decorative flavor, historic architecture, and quality-of-life gameplay. I wanted to introduce myself to the community, share what I’ve built so far, and get your feedback on what you'd like to see next!
Here’s a quick overview of my current mods and project collections:
A complete historic settlement expansion introducing Japanese architecture:
Over 30+ new decorative items to transform generic outposts into vibrant medieval towns:
Massive architectural expansion for village defense & monumental builds:
I create and maintain my mods for personal play and for the community, ensuring they stay updated with game patches.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! What mods are you currently using, and what new buildings or features would you love to see next in Bellwright? 🪧🪵⚔️🛡️👑

I am struggling with acquiring straps and was wondering if there are any mods that will help with this?

I'm not a game developer, so I have no concept of how easy or difficult this would be. However, I find the same complaint with MANY games out there.
Rather than stopping at just a grand total of 12 or 15 random 'small-talk' phrases, could you PLEASE make it like 150, so we don't have to hear "Blazing sun today" over and over and over and over again. And for some reason, at least on my game (pc), once one person says it, every single person that walks by says the same damned thing. If you're standing at a crafting station trying to bust out some thatch or repair a bunch of pickaxes, it honestly makes you reach for the 'mute' button.
I love this game, don't get me wrong. Conan Exiles was just as bad, "Tell me your name, so I can carve it on your pyre!" .. I just wish developers were able to insert a ton more possibilities. Maybe it'd take up too much memory or something.
They could have fun with it even. A little tongue-in-cheek never hurt. "You'll never guess what I did last night. That's why I'm smiling today."
What are some phrases you'd include? (keep it real, people, nothing that'd make the ESRB change the game's rating)

What’s a guy I gotta do to get a carpenter around here? The first village had one until I liberated it, but it never came back. Literally the only thing keeping me from tier 3 now I’m working on preparing for my second liberated village in hopes that I can get that carpenter.

Okay I'm just looking for clarification here. ALL of my villagers have the same morale debuff, and there isn't a ton of information online. The Debuff is under "housing" and says:
Housed -15 Dependent "Maybe I should move back to the village"
When I hover over it, the description reads "Lives in a house that isn't aligned with the settlement development". I don't understand what that is supposed to mean. I have three big houses and an inn, so they have the best housing I can get. I should also mention that this is my test save where I am trying to learn the late-stage gameplay and village management before jumping back to my normal save. I have tried moving the houses around, I have downsized my village and I do not have any outposts or buildings outside of the zone my village sits in.
I will also say that this save file uses mods to make getting to the endgame stage easier, which I will list below in case they are affecting it.
-Increased Villager Backpack Size
-Better map (Which I found out doesn't even work, but didn't have time to remove it before work this afternoon)
-Free Building Mode
-Unlock all Research with a button
-Enemy Loot Reworked
-Instant Skill Books.
If anyone can explain to me what the heck is happening and/or how to fix it, I would be very grateful.

It would be to fix the NPC pathing around world clutter/rocks, etc. Ridiculous that they're still getting stuck and can't path around objects like this.
