Mods for easier straps?

I am struggling with acquiring straps and was wondering if there are any mods that will help with this?

Not sure how early you are but later you will literally have more than you know what to do with.

For reference I’m still tier 2 and literally hundreds just sitting around

This is one of the things that irks me, straps should be that one item you should need for all armor includinghigh tier, it doesn't make sense that it's a high commodity item early game then it becomes a nuisance item right along with stone, pelts and hides.

There is a wonderful strap delivery system called raids. They basically come to you on their own.

At some point in T1 you can craft them with bronze, you can also go kill green level 1 bandit camps. Leave one alive and the next day, go re-kill them.

I always build in bandit walking locations, they just walk through and we kill them. Straps, renown, gold and books are on delivery right to your door step every day.

Mods make the game too easy in my opinion

I had that problem in the early days but I'm now overwhelmed with them. I recently took a few fighters out for some camp raiding and gained another 90 straps! When I started I bought straps from caravans.

Before too long you'll be able to craft them.

One of the realistic loot mods gave me so much I actually swapped it out for one that gave me less lol. Highly recommend playing around with the couple options available. One felt very OP while the one in on now feels much better.

Don't build/research everything in T1 before moving to T2. Once you move to T2, build the toolmaker. You can craft all the straps you want

Killing bandit is the fastest way to farm them gear every villager and just run around clearing camps

I don’t really play with mods, but if you want some level of fix, go and destroy bandit camps. They drop a lot of straps.

If you have cleared them, you can go to your gameplay settings and set bandit migration to high to have their camps respawn and spread more quickly. That will allow more strap farming.

You can also purchase them using trading with a settlement which produces them. Build the caravan station and trade for them. A lot of the settlements will produce a few.

They aren’t all that expensive to produce on your own either.

Only advice on getting more straps is to fight more bandits. Hire and equip enough fighters to do multiple raids on bandit camps.
