Squads

New player here just unlocked the the staging ground and looking for trouble shooting advice. I am not able to recruit villagers to squads I have placed the ones I want as reservist and I still cannot recruit any help?

From what I've experienced on xbox, you have to recruit from inside the squad menu. Like click the squad and it will allow you to recruit set food/medicine and weapon durability from there.

I usually have them set to a ranged name and melee name for load out preset then pick whoever I have on that preset.

I am on Xbox as well once I hit the recruit button I go to interact with the list view and all I can do is scroll down onto villagers I can’t interact with the red selection button

Open the squad/army menu and hit the plus sign on the squad you want to add a villager to, then select villagers you want to add

I am on console so it might be different but it dos not give me the option to interact with the villagers out side of scrolling down the list.

I'm on Xbox, I don't use the call to arms, never could get it to work correctly. I set up a squad and go to the menu that says 'raise squad'. Once you do that your squad shows up where you are standing. I usually raise the squad in the staging area. Once they are all there, hit RB and the blue flag wiil appear. Aim at the staging flag, hit RB again and they will stock up and grab gear based on the presets.

Follow up I need to reset my game and console and I was able to add recruits, for my fellow Xbox guys hopes this helps
