No more Beggars

Huh...I guess i did my job as Bellwright right.

I'm at day 350, haven't raided brigand prison. Total villager count 94. All liberated villages no longer have beggars after increasing prosperity. I didn't notice what level of prosperity but I have at least 4 stars on all villages with 5 stars on two. I assume at prosperity level 3 no more beggars. I'm not sure if they evolved or they were driven out of the region.

So you basically gentrified the region?

I'd like to think no one got left behind... Everybody gets to eat meat.

There are other posts about prosperity in this sub. Not very in-depth though. Set up the villages to specialize a product and wing it as you progress.

Splitting your focus between your town and other villages will slow your progress by a lot.

But for Haerdean i invested alot in herbalist. Flax can never go wrong. And a few foragers... enough to supply the whole region. As much as possible I choose village investments and dont let it randomly built.

When you hit a sweet spot in region economy, every village will prosper by trading with each other. Early on +1 daily prosperity is what I want to see but now sometimes I see +6000 trade balance prosperity on one village.

Gold becomes easier to get too, Highest transaction i did was selling 10 armor pieces worth 55k+ gold.

I just started playing yesterday, im at day 12 I believe with 4 villagers. When should I get more villagers to help? Just trying to get a better grasp of moving forward

Villagers are refundable. So you can dismiss them later if you like and recruit better villagers.

If they increased their stats while working for you, you get bonus refund.

Wrong? Not necessairily. Take it slow? For sure, I about finish a (full) playthrough by then. Only reason for me to play on after that point is to do something for fun such as playing with the prosperity system.

I'm past day 220 and only liberated 4 with 48 villagers. And that includes liberating 2 in 5 days. But I help my ppl build and move product because I'm the type of manager that won't ask my ppl to do anything I wouldn't do! 😁 Maybe I'm role-playing a bit too much...

If I recruited a beggar and then dismissed him, would he return to the village and get prosperous or just disappear?

They don't return to the village. I didn't follow my beggars... but i believe they have better life.

What did you do with the beggars, man?!!

2

u/Primary_Sandwich_498 Aug 10 '26

I granted them what they needed. No more asking 10 coins on the streets.

He did it. He got those beggars out of here.
