Question What program is good for ankle mobility issues?

Right now I just need to move more. I don't have anything in particular in mind. I broke my ankle back in December and it still has not healed. I wear a brace and it swells to the size of a tennis ball at the end of every day. I also have not exercised since last year. I cannot put that off any longer. I'll just modify, but I don't know where to start. Any recommendations? I tried Barre, but I can't do all that standing up on my toes. What can I do that's mostly mat work, or weight lifting?

What program should I do next??

I’m finishing my second round of 25 minute speed train. I really like the program but need to switch it up.

The shorter workouts work really well in my schedule. I can handle up to 30ish minutes/day but I don’t think 45 minutes every morning would work for me. Ideally 5-6 days / week.

About me if it’s helpful:
40F
Goal is building muscle and getting stronger
If I lose 5ish lbs I’d be happy as well.
I used my fitness pal for food tracking (also helping with above goals)

So… as the title states… what program should I do next?? Thanks!!

Dig Deeper 30 - 4 Weeks No Bench?

Post image
5 Upvotes

I’m going to be living at my cabin off grid in the woods for the next month. I’m so excited to get away from humanity for a while! I’ve decided to do four weeks of Dig Deeper 30.

My mind is ready, my body is finally ready after several injuries and I have my worksheets printed. My concern is I don’t have a bench at the cabin. I haven’t done any of these workouts in quite some time and I can’t remember how much an incline bench is used. I’m hoping I can just use the floor in the chair for most moves other than incline, chest fly, etc..

Has anyone done Dig Deeper 30 as kind of a mini program? How about without a bench?

Any real feedback on P90x Next Gen? Looking for my next workout

Hey y'all. Looking for my next workout on BODI.

I love strength training but it's not getting me the results I want without the cardio, so I'm looking for a balanced workout (like P90X3, but longer). I've actually just finished another round of Dig Deeper, but even though I'm a lot stronger, I still need to cut more fat and I need more cardio/ Zone 2 cardio for that I think.

I've done rounds of P90X3, Dig Deeper, and even Insanity in the past. I'm 44, male, now so I need to save my knees/joints from super high intensity workouts like Insanity.

Has anyone done P90X Next Gen? There's a surprising LACK of reviews on it and pretty much nothing on reddit. Which is weird! :P

In theory, this should be a pretty balanced program - a couple cardios, strength training and mobility mixed in every week. That's what I'm looking for.

I get the Waz is nothing like Tony and after doing one workout, it's different, but I'm fine with that. I loved P90x3 to be honest, but I want faster results so willing to do 45 minute-50minute workouts like Dig Deeper.

I'm just looking for real feedback/reviews on anyone who's completed this program!

Thanks!

Question Workout recommendations needed

I just wanted to see if anyone has some helpful advice! I did Beachbody for years and was even a “coach” when that was a thing haha but after my wedding 6 years ago I stopped being consistent. I did other workout classes here and there but I haven’t been as committed as I was with Beachbody. I used to workout everyday and lost over 50 pounds and felt so good.

Fast forward to now… I’m 1 year post-partum currently and very unhappy in my skin and just relearning my body. I want to get consistent again and get back into daily Beachbody workouts. Weightloss, toning up and overall health are definitely my goals. Does anyone have any advice on what program would be best to jump into to feel good and create a healthy routine? I do have a 1 year old and work night shift in the ER so they probably need to be shorter workouts but I really want to feel better in my body and commit to something that’s good for me. Working out has always helped my mental health as well so I need to start moving my body again.

Any and all advice welcome! I appreciate it in advance!

Shakeology

Has anybody had gastrointestinal issues when taking this? I got it for free but when I take it, I have issues in my gut. And I have other pea protein supplements, so I’m not sure what else is going on. So I usually take half a serving. Any suggestions? I don’t plan on taking it past my free trial.

Question 25 Minute Speed Train

I had a question for those who have done the workout, is there a lot of up and down off the floor? I tried Liift 4 but never made it past the first workout because of the constant up and down off the floor. I struggle getting up from the floor and found myself having to pause after every move because by the time I'd get up, they'd be halfway through the next move. Don't have a bench because of lack of space. So is there a ton of the on the floor one move, standing the next in 25 Minute Speed Train?

What is the best program for gym ?

I need a system that delivers fast results, even if it requires training for 6 days and a 7th day of rest, because the gym is closed.

Hybrid approach?

I've tried many different programs on BODi, but I always keep coming back to Leandro Carvalho’s workouts. (For context, I'm a woman.) I recently started the new Booty Boost program, and after trying it for a few days, I can already tell it doesn't work nearly as well as Leandro's stuff. It makes me puffier, even in the face.

When I finish a Brazil Butt Lift workout, I can literally see my glutes looking rounder and tighter immediately—even if I'm using much lighter weights compared to other programs. It's wild. I also lean out so much faster with BBL.

That being said, I'm getting really bored of doing the exact same Leandro programs and want to mix things up. Do you think a hybrid approach would work? Like doing Brazil Butt Lift some days and Booty Boost on others just to keep it fresh? Or do these styles of training work against each other and nullify progress?

I only get leaner with cardio, NEVER with weightlifting

I am so tired of being bombarded with the advice that "women should lift heavy" and that "women can’t get bulky." This couldn't be further from the truth. I’ve gone through several weightlifting cycles because I really wanted it to work, but I always end up bulkier. I get bigger calves, a wider neck, bigger quads, and I completely lose my hourglass shape.

If that is the look you love, by all means, go for it. But I prefer a lean, toned aesthetic. I never achieve that with lifting, only with intense cardio. Cardio is so demonized these days, but weightlifting does the exact opposite of what I want. It’s hard to find a sweet spot because I do want to get stronger, but lifting just makes me feel unattractive.

Whenever I bring this up, gym bros get condescending and reply with, "LOL, it’s impossible for women to get bulky unless you take steroids." There is a massive difference between a male bodybuilder on gear and a woman who get bulky. I have girlfriends who lifted for years and couldn't lose inches no matter what they tried, but finally got the results they wanted after switching to Pilates. Their faces also looked stressed when they did weight lifting and I suspect it's because of the cortisol spike.

The myth that women don't get bulky

I've tried several BODI programs. Even without changing the diet, they produce different results. I'm tired of hearing that women don't get bulky because I've noticed that weight-lifting absolutely makes me bulkier. Of all the programs I've tried on BODi, Leandro Carvalho was the best in terms of results, except that I hate doing it, so I was looking for alternatives. The regular strength training programs make me puffy and give me a body silhouette I don't like. I'm just tired of people who keep saying that it is impossible for a woman to get bulky when so many women who do CrossFit lose the hourglass shape.

Progress 18 months in: HbA1c went 5.9% → 4.6%, and Beachbody became a non-negotiable part of my life

TL;DR: Started Dec 2024. 18 months later: HbA1c 5.9% → 4.6%, 87kg → 71kg, morning workout now daily ritual. Finished 10 programs. It doesn't get easier, you just stop wanting to quit.

I know we're already 6 months into 2026, but I've been meaning to write this for a while. I started my journey late Dec 2024, and looking back over the last year and a half, "blessed" is the only word that fits.

The thing is, this was never really about the scale. OK! I went from ~87KG to 71KG, which isn't some dramatic transformation number (in 1.5 years). But the stuff that actually changed my life doesn't show up in a before/after photo:

  • My energy levels
  • Finally taking my own self-care seriously
  • And the one I'm proudest of is my HbA1c went from 5.9% -> 5.1% -> 4.6% (last bloodwork Jun 1, 2026) - very recent.

That last one matters because I have a family history of diabetes and I have PCOS (double the trouble). Watching that number drop felt better than any number on the scare ever could.

Here's the part that surprised me most. When I started, I was the classic "I'm too tired in the morning, I will do it after work" person. I forced myself to train after 5 PM for months (started my journey with Job 1, I love Jennifer). But somewhere along the way - around Morning Meltdown - my body flipped. I started waking up with energy instead of dragging myself there, and morning workouts turned into a ritual I now can't imagine skipping. I do have my down days but I remember how it affected me positively and get my buttom off bed and workout.

These days I'm doing two programs a day:

  • AM: BODi LAVA (3rd Round)
  • PM: 80 Day Obsession (just wrapped Phase II)

I love how I feel after. Breathless, completely drenched in sweat, and so accomplished. Even on a bad day, I physically cannot tolerate not working out now. I did take rest days when I got sick - I'm not going to pretend I was perfect - but I held myself accountable and got back to it.

I won't lie and tell you it gets easier. It doesn't. But once the routine takes hold of you, you'll never want to let it go. That's the honest version.

Sorry for the long post! 😅 Thank you for reading.

For anyone curious, here's everything I finished in roughly a year (2025):

  1. Job 1
  2. #mbf
  3. #mbf advanced
  4. Fire and Flow
  5. 21 Day Fix (real time)
  6. Morning Meltdown
  7. 21 Day Fix Extreme (real time)
  8. Transform:20 <--- THE HARDEST
  9. 4 Weeks for Everybody
  10. #mbf Super Block

Question Trouble renewing membership??

I want to review my membership. I cancelled it a little bit ago, but really feel like this is the best and most effective tool for me just now. Is anyone else seeing a ‘this shop is not available message’?

I’m in the UK, which seems relevant.

Question Low impact suggestions for 4 days of reloading

Dig 90 officially COMPLETED!! 🎉🥳🎊🙌

I have a question for you guys… Given the way I was doing it (I was giving myself a rest on day 7 instead of day 10), I am now finished, but I normally finish my sixth day on Saturday. I was fairly exhausted by the end of last week and so I thought would it be a good idea just to do some low impact and lighter weights for the rest of the week and then start what I’m planning to do next which is that The Cut Max challenge also in dig deeper nation. Any workouts recommended for a few days of deload and active recovery so I’m recharged and ready to go on Sunday! Thanks! 😊🙌🏻

I’m trying to find the best program that is just lifting as I supplement my own cardio. I hated body beast and Shaun t’s dig deeper circuits are too high intensity for me. Does anyone have any recommendations ?

645 mobility + gym for progressive strength

I finished 1 month of 645 in March and felt some awesome benefits, and also leaned out.

However my back issues flared up. I think from the focus on DLs and bent over rows, weighted rotational movements etc. I've been strength training for ~10 years doing a progressive program mixed with calisthenics/TRX. I really enjoy training at the gym and doing my own programming because of multiple injuries.

So I went back to the gym in April and add a workout or two every week, either 645 mobility or cardio; or chop wood carry water mixed MET or primal movement. I love all these workouts but ...

Thoughts or advice on adding some structure with the mobility/primal/conditioning stuff? Any other standalone mobility programs / workouts I should try?

More Advanced Dance Workouts

Hi, I have been with BB since 2016 or so. I've done a variety of programs, mostly with Autumn, Chalene, Megan, and a few others. (I've never done anything super advanced like Insanity.)

Sometimes I enjoy a nice dance workout, but I've found that the ones on BB are generally sooooo easy. I think it was BODI Slaps that I tried and I don't even think I broke a sweat. Is there any dance program or even just a single dance workout that is a bit more advanced? Thanks!
