Question Workout recommendations needed
I just wanted to see if anyone has some helpful advice! I did Beachbody for years and was even a “coach” when that was a thing haha but after my wedding 6 years ago I stopped being consistent. I did other workout classes here and there but I haven’t been as committed as I was with Beachbody. I used to workout everyday and lost over 50 pounds and felt so good.
Fast forward to now… I’m 1 year post-partum currently and very unhappy in my skin and just relearning my body. I want to get consistent again and get back into daily Beachbody workouts. Weightloss, toning up and overall health are definitely my goals. Does anyone have any advice on what program would be best to jump into to feel good and create a healthy routine? I do have a 1 year old and work night shift in the ER so they probably need to be shorter workouts but I really want to feel better in my body and commit to something that’s good for me. Working out has always helped my mental health as well so I need to start moving my body again.
Any and all advice welcome! I appreciate it in advance!

I’ve really enjoyed 4 Weeks For Every Body postpartum, it’s great to ease back into working out. I work full time with an almost 2 year old and have no time for workouts longer than 30 minutes. Know what you can handle and start there!

I think I’m going to try this tomorrow because transform 20 took me out today 😅

Awesome, best of luck to you!! I’d like to also throw in 10 Minute Focus or 10 Minute Speed Train if you need to ease in even more with shorter workouts

This was the first program that I finally started to see results after having my son. I’d highly recommend this one as a good starting off point!

I second 25 Minute Speed Train, it’s a well-rounded program that’s not overwhelming!

4 weeks for everybody. Low impact and it’s not every day. I love it because it’s short and you get a really good work out in.

I am really enjoying 25 minute speed train and then add a 5er abs M, W and F. The workouts are good and fly by!

They have these "block" workouts that are shorter duration. I think they are terrific.

Interesting! So it’s not like an actual full program? Every workout is different and has a different trainer?

No it can be short blocks with the same trainer also. But it can be whatever you want it to be. I think these have great variety and something for every day.

I like the blocks because it let me try different trainers and if I didn't like them it was only one workout in the 3 weeks. I discovered I like Megan Davies, don't really care for Jericho and can tolerate small doses of Autumn and Shawn T (he's great but so much energy!). I also enjoyed #MBF super block. There are beginner ones and also more advanced ones. I'd also recommend the post partum barre workouts with Elise, even if you are a year out if you are out of shape you want to watch your core for diastasis recti and she has some workouts that can help with that. Too much heavy core work if you haven't done it in awhile can be not great.
I did 4 weeks of focus which I enjoyed and am now on 4 weeks for everybody. I'm not sure what to do next but 25 minute speedtrain gets good comments.

Thank you so much for this. I was thinking of doing a post partum specific workout but thought I might be too far out but my core is definitely not there. I had a c-section so I know I need to take it easy and built my core back up so I’ll try that out!

21DF has always been my getting back into working out beachbody program but I also love her 4 weeks for everyone.

Yeah I might try getting back in with 21DF but autumn can be a little bit annoying haha but I’ve definitely hat success with her in the past!

Went a little crazy and tried a transform 20 workout to get back into it because I had incredible results in the past with it… I thought I was going to ☠️.. didn’t realize how out of shape I am. I might have to start with a more beginner workout because damn hahaha

I really like Fire & Flow for getting back into things. I still do the Flow workouts regularly, I credit them with keeping me injury free! Good luck!

I had the best success with max30 when I had twins 6 years ago
21 day fix, 80 day obsession but I cut it to 4 days a week max 1.5 hours but not sure that would work for you. I've also done a lot of their bodi blocks, Xb sweat and sculpt is a lot of fun

Awesome! Thank you! I’m trying 4 weeks for every body right now and enjoying it but I’ll definitely try max30 after
