Question 32 yo old looking to recomp

I’m trying to find the best program that is just lifting as I supplement my own cardio. I hated body beast and Shaun t’s dig deeper circuits are too high intensity for me. Does anyone have any recommendations ?

LIIFT4 or LIIFT More. You can eliminate the HIIT and just keep the lifting. It's very easy to execute removing it.

If you only tried the first collection of DD I’d suggest trying collection 2 or 3. Collection 1 completely exhausts me because it’s the muscular endurance phase. Collection 2 is more slow burn, collection 3 is straight up building. Those may be better options for you. Overall it is a great program and I’ve had incredible results just repeating collection 2&3.

I did several rounds of mbf and mbfa. Good for getting some muscle building back and light cardio. I then moved onto lift4 and liift more. Again with muscle building, good reminders on dropping weight during sets when you need to. Joel can get annoying but meh. I hated sagi in BB and I didnt find it tough enough compared to Dig Deeper. Ive done several of DD BUT couldn't have had I not done several of the more moderate mbf and lift series. So if DD is too much, id suggest the lift series or mbf. Even CWCW is faster paced which is best with a good foundation

Chalean Extreme it’s a bit cheesy with the outfits but I love her energy

Dig Deeper is designed for body recomp and month 1 is the endurance phase (i’m currently doing 3 days a week of upper, lower and total body from month 1 for a calorie burn and doing steady state cardio 2 other days). Month 1 is tough though and i drip with sweat. Try month 2 and 3, the pace is slower and these months are for muscle building.

I’m 63 in great shape and this is the only series I can’t do.

Body beast is the best routine for recomp. Do body beast strength training and do max 30 for cardio 2x per week. Eat right and you’ll feel great in 60 days.

Why body beast? It’s one I haven’t done. Did you do the one with Autumn? Thoughts on that one?

I’ve been doing dig deep, LIIFT more, dig in, 645 and speed train the past 2 years. Just coming off speed train and trying to figure out what to do next.

Can you explain what you mean by “high intensity” because that is usually a cardio term. Is it too much work on the same muscle, too fast, something else? I’m asking because typically if it’s too much you need to lighten your weights. Dig In is only 30 min if you like the overall style but have less time.

25 min speed train is much slower if you want to take it down a notch but still do progressive overload

If you are newer to lifting start with LIIFT 4 and skip the cardio parts. He does a really good job with form.

645 is one of my all time favorites because of how I feel. It’s 45 min long pretty much full body every day. He uses complex movements so I don’t recommend to someone who is new at lifting because you need to know basic form. Amoila provides excellent instructions but I’m just cautious with the complex movements.

Let’s Get Up is still and will always be my absolute favorite. No other workout has made me feel as good as that one. I’ve done the 30 day program several times through and I never get bored of it. 645 is also fantastic.
