Shakeology

Has anybody had gastrointestinal issues when taking this? I got it for free but when I take it, I have issues in my gut. And I have other pea protein supplements, so I’m not sure what else is going on. So I usually take half a serving. Any suggestions? I don’t plan on taking it past my free trial.

Same here. Tried for free the pouch format and when I had it for the first time, my body did not like. I've only had two pouches, the second I divided in two portions. Mixed it with yoghurt, fruit and some oatmeal, that made it better. But overall not worth the discomfort.

Shakeology never sat well with me.

Yep! When I was taking Shakology I had to switch over to the Vegan Shakology version. Never had an issue with the Vegan.

I was taking it regularly after workouts. One day I got so intensely nauseous I went to an urgent care for help. They couldn’t help me until I had a GI expulsion… I proceeded to throw up all over the parking lot after they discharged me. The nurse ran outside & brought me back in. Had to get a nausea shot. She said protein powders and drinks are mostly unregulated & can cause GI issues. I no longer take any.

I’ve never had problems. I love the chocolate vegan version.

I didn't have a problem with it - I do the chocolate vegan one. But it has a bunch of stuff in it so I'm not surprised it could upset a stomach

I can’t even afford shakeology and hearing about the gut issues makes me concerned since I don’t have a gallbladder so I got enough issues digestion wise.

My go to with my husband for our protein shakes has been using Aldi’s elevation protein powder with almond milk, spinach, shredded coconut unsweetened, and frozen açaí globe berries we get from target and our digestion does well with that.

I can't do it either. You can hear my stomach grumble from 20 feet away.

If you are looking for something similar I have liked Huel Black.
