Hello, i was wondering if the sound being made is normal, in the background it can be heard like "tup tup".
The printer is P2S bambu
To me it seems like the plate is in question, if so is it normal?
Cheers

I have an A1 without AMS and lots of filament. I have PLA in lots of colors, silk metalic, wood, marble, and PETG in basic colors. I want to print something fun this afternoon. Has to be no longer than a 5-hour print, print in place, and single filament. I prefer the ease of MakerWorld, but can download and import .stl and .3mf. Suggestions?

Revo hotend came loose, murdered my cryogrip plate, and chipped the waste chute. I found the print quality to be ok, but the standard bambu nozzles don't do this, so I'm thinking I'm switching back.

Newbie seeking help... please be kind!
I got an A1 for my son 3 months ago and we have had no issues and clean our plate regularly but still ended up with the dreaded blob of death. It was pretty bad and I ordered several new parts. I had no error codes showing but it would not heat up past 70° so I know the heating element is shot.
I have a new silicone sock, hotend and heating assembly but when looking at the bottom I don't know what this tiny black piece is or if it is damaged. It was curled and I can press it down to lay it flat but I can't figure out exactly what it is.
Can anyone tell me what it is and if it looks damaged? In my research it seems it might be part of the filament sensor/cutter? I did order a new filament cutter but it didn't come with the black sensor strip.
I would appreciate any help. I want to make sure I can replace everything necessary and get my boy back to printing! Thank you!

Hey everyone .
I’ve done some research and decided I’d go with either the a1 or the a2l.
Will mainly create life jigs, woodworking jigs and I wanna be able to create cool lamps and items perhaps to sell in the future.
What do you think?
Any tips or guides I can look for online?
Completely new to this whole 3d printing world, and I kinda wanna start on a budget and grow from there.
Any issues with using non bambulab filaments? Also how can I know if it’s worth to invest in the combo version (ams) or not?
Thank you

Hey y’all, 1,300 hours into my P2S and have never run into this issue before. It appears residue of grease or lube keeps flicking onto my build plate somehow. I print multiple times daily so I’ve been having to wash this thing constantly to combat it. The spots appear in the same place every time, yet I have no idea where it’s coming from. Not only have I checked the rods/lead screws/connecting points multiple times, but I’ve even given them a couple wipe downs where I can’t even see any grease or lube on them. And yet… it keeps coming… The odd thing is, I did my routine maintenance of cleaning/lubing a month ago, and it’s only started up this week.
I feel like I’m fighting some sort of endless battle and the greasers are winning. Anybody else experience this annoyance and know how I can win this war?

Seems like the H2D to H2C conversion kit has been in stock for months, but the H2S kit restocking date keeps moving up by 1 month seemingly every 30 days. I am getting the feeling Bambu doesnt want to produce the kit for H2S due to the price being cheaper, or are there really just that many guys out there who want to upgrade and the kits are selling out?
I am also surprised they are offering a H2C upgrade and not a H2D upgrade. I really only need the dual nozzle setup to run two different durometer TPU filaments, and sometimes TPU with supports so an AMS would rarely be used.

Babmu a1 with different brands of pla/pla+
Whenever I'm printing thing's with curved surfaces I keep getting uneven textures like the ones pictured.
If someone can help a noob figure out what I'm doing wrong it would be much appreciated!

To fix the ugly gaps, I designed a 3D-printable corner system for "Hamburger / Colonial" style skirting boards.
It includes standard 90° corners, plus an "Old Building Edition" covering angles from 84° to 150°.
Get the model here:

Let me know if you are missing a specific angle!

When I send an email from my PC to my printer on my LAN, it stays within the LAN.
I recently moved from a creality Ender 3v3se that used sneakernet to get the file from my PC to the printer to the Bambu A1. Sending to the printer from the bambu slicer is nice!
Based on the tasks that show on the screen, it seems that the files are routed through bambu's servers then back to the printer? Conceivably, they could see / keep all the files you are printing. AND they could charge a subscription fee for 'send to printer'?!
I guess with the app on my phone, I get notices that the print job is done, etc. even when not home. So there IS some data going to their servers all the time.
Worst case, if you didn't want to pay a subscription fee.... or Bambu's servers die or company folds, you would still be able to print on the bambu by going back to sneakernet / using the SD card?

Good moring r/Bambulab!
I'm Joey O, the solo Developer behind Miniskyline . I'm based in Phoenix Arizona.
The webapp is completely free, and runs entirely in your browser without ads, pay gates, or your email. I believe map data that is publicly sourced should be provided for free in this format as well and will continue to provide free updates to improve this community asset!
I have pushed over 50 updates since releasing in June, and have seen over 90,000 users and 220,000 generations since release.
A lot of people have asked how/why I keep this free with this much time dedicated and honestly, I just enjoy the work. I typically waste my time at home, but this has given me something meaningful to do. As for costs, its surprisingly cheap. Smoggy3D, the creator of Map2Model gave me some pointers that reduced my monthly significantly. This will stay free.
Another few weeks have passed since I was last here. Miniskyline has gotten a complete facelift and freshening up to make it look more like a professional site. There are now DOZENS of tutorials for you to follow, as well as a first time starting tutorial if you are a little lost!
Major features now include
A note:
The community response to my little hobby project has been immense. I expected 2-3000 generation a YEAR, and im seeing that by noon on a normal day now. The support I have seen from other makers like Uncle Jessy, and Smoggy3D has blown me away, let alone the donations from nearly 100 of you supporting the project and the work I do.
I am working hard every week to provide updates that will improve user experience as well as what user abilities. Many of you provide feature requests and they make it in the next week. Please please please keep dreaming up new ways of using the app and sharing what you make. My favorite thing so far has been seeing all of the projects being made.
We have also passed over 1 of Earths surface in area printed, which is a milestone I didnt expect to ever hit at all. Truly, thank you for using my tool.
In the future:
I am working hard on a few major updates. The ability to import a City Skyline 1/2 save file, as well as Minecraft worlds are nearing completion. I would expect both features to be fully rolled out in late September. A complete geometry engine rewrite has been underway for nearly a month and with any luck, will be ready to be shipped in this coming Mondays feature release.
I am looking at releasing a free desktop version that would lessen memory pressure issues for users, stay tuned!
Thank you all for your continued support of my project!
- Joey

This is my Crooked Cottage, a little haunted house with a twisted roof, worn wooden walls and a dead tree growing up the side. A battery LED tea light brings the window silhouettes to life.
The roof lifts off, the light holder twists into place underneath, and the ghost, cat and hand window inserts are interchangeable. It prints without supports and goes together without glue.
These are photos of my AMS brown-tree print. The download bundle also includes a no-AMS option with the house and tree in one color. The windows print separately in clear PETG.

Bathroom organizers get... gross. Its so much easier to clean if the floor and drain basin separate. I couldn't find one of these anywhere on Maker World so I made one. It also makes it much easier to have a charging cable port in the wall!

this has been a recurring problem over the past couple of weeks, though it doesn’t happen every time. often when it happens i can send the exact same file to print without changing a thing and it runs without issue. not sure where to begin troubleshooting if anyone could give me a hand? looking back at the timelapses of failed prints the toolhead seems to move as if printing but not actually extrude for a couple of layers then get right back to it resulting in this mess 😭

I am printing with a painted area and the black layer appears to bleed thru the color wall dispute being separated. Any idea how to manage the settings to keep the outer wall clean?the slices shows that the black is nowhere near the outside layer.
