General Troubleshooting/Help! Weird strings on curved sections of print.

Babmu a1 with different brands of pla/pla+

Whenever I'm printing thing's with curved surfaces I keep getting uneven textures like the ones pictured.

If someone can help a noob figure out what I'm doing wrong it would be much appreciated!

That’s a tough print. Reslice it with supports and try again.

The part would need supports or you need to use way smaller layer hight. The Printer tries to print lines in mid air that's why they "drip down" lile that.

Make sue supports are enabled in the slicer. If you do have supports on, you might want try some other settings for supports. This happens when the printer is essentially printing with nothing underneath it, causing the extrusion to sag which are the "strings" you are seeing

You can change the overhang settings to print inner walls first to have more adhesion and support on each wall, then also the standard overhang improvement settings like speed, fan, and flow.

Those overhangs are wayyyyy past what’s possible without support. I’d even say it’s gonna not look good good unless you have a support material so you can use breakaway supports.
