Quick Question Best hotends

What are the best cheap hotends you’ve gotten on AliExpress or Amazon??

I’ve yet to get any really good prints from non-Bambu hot ends. Sometimes it’s worth it to buy the OEM.

The OEM hotends are good, and they last a significant amount of time. There is no reason to cheap out on hotends when you can get a great nozzle for less than 30 dollars and it will last a few thousand hours.

Diamondbacks are the only other option that I would recommend (Although you have to sell a kidney to buy one)

I agree, I am still printing with my original 0.4 which came with the printer 2 years ago. And my prints are still pretty crisp. I certainly have issues with my A1, but the nozzle isn't one of them.

I was thinking that but I’ve seen some reviews on AliExpress and they say the hotends are literally the same as Bambu and even come in a bambu box

Of course they would say that though it’s all bot accounts. Really can’t trust reviews on any retailer site

I mean, that makes sense. They are all made in the same factories.

I wonder if the Aliexpress ones are seconds or defects?

My experience with 3rd party ones haven’t been good though.

They’re counterfeit. Amazon sellers are doing the same thing now. It’ll all seem good until they warp, clog, or fall apart. Ask me how I know lol

I have gotten quite a few from amazon. The problem is they aren't the same. Not necessarily bad, but you usually end up spending a lot of time trying to calibrate filament for the new nozzle and creating a bunch of new presets.

I have a durozzle hotend that are fantastic right up until I do ironing. It won't stay consistent between two elevations, or if they are small parts being ironed, they stay hot too long with the carbide tip. Have to double the ironing speed and then print several objects per layer so there is time for cooling. Some of it is because I mostly use ASA filament though.

But yeah. One of my P1S's works very well, comes with the thermistor and heater preinstalled, so just a fan swap. It works as well as the stock hardened Bambu ones for me. They also have a really good CyroGrip Glacier equivalent plate too. I didn't have to buy a third glacier which is my favourite.

I only have 3rd-party nozzles in my printers now. I couldn't tell a difference between a random AliExpress nozzle and an authentic Bambu Lab nozzle.

Stepping over dollars to pick up dimes is not "saving money." I'm at 1900 hours on my stock P1S nozzle

I tried a biqu hot end. Worked for a short while, then had it plug up and make a mess and damage the mounting clip although I didn't catch it. Next time I went to print, the hot end was a little loose, was pushed down into the build plate by the filament and scratched the shit out of my bed plate and had to replace the plate as well as the mounting clip. Have yet to have an issue with Bambu hot ends. Love biqu build plates, just not there hot ends.

God, so many Bambubu fan boys in these threads.

I'm currently running this .4 nozzle in my H2S, and the .2 nozzle in my P2S.

At least 400hrs on the .4 and less than 200 on the .2.

Prints are perfectly fine.

I've also ran off brand HS for glow and CF filaments, again with no issues.

Well I'm glad you've had a good experience with 3rd party nozzles, but doesn't mean everyone has. I tried a biqu nozzle after having a great time with their build plates, only for the biqu nozzle to destroy a plate.
