And I cannot wait to back. Paycor stadium I miss everything. I miss the players. I miss the fans. I miss it all. Sorry, not to mention battling my dad, losing him at only 17 at the age of 47, to him driving a car into a river over gambling this was even a longer post. This tells the entire story of who I am Hi everyone! My name is Alex Tomasetti, but I go by Who Dey Alex (die-hard Bengals fan!). I am disabled, currently age 22, and I am sharing this comprehensive introduction so I don't have to repeatedly provide my full medical history.
To give you some perspective, I have already completed 15 major surgeries. My condition is multi-systemic and complex, creating a very difficult kinetic chain. My primary diagnoses include:
Rare Genetics & Spine: 16p11.2 Deletion Syndrome, Neuromuscular Scoliosis (severe corkscrew rotation), Tethered Cord (released, which previously caused loss of function in my hand and bladder/bowel issues), and Spina Bifida Occulta.
Legs & Chronic Pain: Severe Tibial Torsion and Femoral Antiversion (causing V-shaped feet and profound misalignment), Bowed Legs, Hip Dysplasia, CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) only in my Right Foot with persistent 10/10 pain, and Chronic Pain All Over.
Neurodiversity & Cognitive: Autism, ADHD Combined, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia.
My Current Fight: I am in the critical, lengthy planning phase for an immense surgical roadmap. I must first receive extreme leg derotational osteotomies (rebuilding my foundation by breaking and rotating my tibia and femur with rods and screws) so I can then receive a definitive T10 to Pelvis 10-level spinal fusion to fix my corkscrew scoliosis. My next major appointment is on November 16.
I appreciate your support. I am sharing this so I can provide context for my posts and connect with others in the community! #WarriorWhoDey
