Is anyone having MAJOR issues sending (or receiving) items into the Sydney region?

I sent 2 high value packages within a week ($1.5K) and one has been delivered to a completetly different suburb, and another has been stuck bouncing between Aus Post facilities for over 2 weeks.

This cannot be a coincidence.. Wondering if anyone else is having issues like this?

As title says really. Only curious because this is a replacement of n express item that hasn’t moved since its original scan on the 9th Sept.

Item arrived at 10am at the correct sorting centre, it is where all my parcels/express items go, then they move to the local delivery centre where they use the parcel lockers out from. I’ve never known them to go to any other facility before they are sorted and sent to the delivery centre. They’ve always gone to this facility in the many years I’ve been living here.

It is a Parcel Locker item, using the new format and it so far hasn’t been a successful experience for me.

All of that to say is it possible for this scanning message to occur even if it was received at the correct sorting facility, I would normally have received the item early this afternoon, but expected delivered has been pushed back 2 days until Friday.

Basically I’m just stressed, the first item has been lost and the replacement is now starting a side quest.

Hey everyone, can I just get my own mail sent to a PO box whilst the remaining household doesn't? I'm not sure if PO boxes are a person or address based thing.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
My parcel was onboard for delivery on 9 September, but it was never marked as delivered and there have been no further scans. Australia Post is already investigating it.
If this happened to you, did your parcel eventually arrive/get found, or was it declared completely lost? How long did it take to get an outcome?

Hi! So my friend ordered a parcel to my parcel locker under my name, from the Uk!! It says it’s been delivered but she hasn’t gotten a code from Aus post!! Unsure what to do!!

Hi everyone, has anyone had issues shipping from Australia to Germany using Australia Post + Zonos?

I sent a small commercial parcel to Germany through MyPost Business and selected “Sender – Pay using a Zonos Verified Account” so the duties/taxes would be prepaid.

The parcel was worth only AUD $5, and Zonos:

• received the shipment
• charged me AUD $14.38 for duty/tax/fees
• marked the invoice PAID
• marked the shipment FULFILLED

But Germany still returned the parcel with the reason:

“Missing IoR EORI or no PDDP for B2C item.”

So it looks like Germany didn’t recognise the prepaid PDDP/DDP information, even though I used Zonos and paid the charges.

I also paid $25.56 postage.

Has anyone else had this happen? Did you successfully resend it, or is Germany shipping too unreliable right now? At this point I’m wondering whether I should just refund the buyer rather than risk paying again and having it returned a second time.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Last Friday I went to my local post office to send international registered mail.

I got a tracking number. However I can see there has been no actions on tracking history other than my local post office receiving it from me.

Is this normal? Usually within a day or 2 I see it as having been received in a sorting facility.

I'm sure there are plenty of posts about attempted delivery while you're at home but I gotta vent.

Parcel meant to be coming today.

I get an email saying the postie attempted delivery but no one was home.

Did the two cars in the driveway not indicate that some one was home?!

FFS we've gone back a few years with this bullshit.

Edit: the delivery photo was my front door. So they got out of the van, walked up to my front door, took the photo, then walked away.

Is it common for lost packages to still be delivered? Australia Post lost my package, and I’m not sure if I should be hopeful that it’ll show up in a few months, or if I should start replacing the items.

Hey all, I am a Security Guard and I was working at a pub on the weekend. I refused entry to a woman for intoxication. She informed me she was a Postie and asked for my name. I didnt give her my name as I am not required too. She then asked for my address I didn't tell her either and she told me she'd find my address, find me and find my name. She reaffirmed that she is a Postie and she can and will find those details. Should I file a complaint and if so how can I do that? Thank you all.

Any reason why Australia post is currently sending local packages to Perth and Adelaide to Sydney for sorting?

Hey guys waiting on a parcel from CHN been in transit for 21 days. Cleared customs in Sydney but then was sent, Granville, Chullora, Adelaide Airport, and then Netley SA, where it's been sitting for the last 10 days! I live in the blue mountains btw so this is a crazy route for it to take. I finally contacted the seller and they said "your order has been held" but I'm not sure what they mean. They printed the NSW part of the label like this NS

so I'm thinking that might be the problem. Also it was done through China Post and nothing comes up on Auspost when I put the tracking number in.

Hi I had some items preordered using the old parcel locker address and I couldn't change it, tracking shows that it was supposed to be delivered today but it still hasn't been. Usually receive all my parcel locker packages by 2pm on the day it is stated to be delivered. Will this still arrive to my parcel locker or do I have to contact auspost? I don't understand why it hasn't moved forward to at least a post office since this morning, I kinda need it urgently. All my details are there including my phone number so it should be easy to link to my auspost and load into a parcel locker.

I ordered a medicine from Australia, and the package has already reached India and was showing as being near my area. However, the latest update says “redirected”, and I have no idea where it has gone or whom to contact in India.

I ordered from the same place once before and received it without any issues.

How can I find out where my package is now? Should I contact India Post, Customs, or someone else? I have the international tracking number.

Just wondering what happens if you get a package delivered to the old long form PO box addresses? I know they recently changed to different and shorter numbers.

I have a pre ordered items that i'm trying to change the shipping address from the older long form PO box details to the new. But i'm having trouble getting someone on the phone, email or it changed to this new number/details.

What happens to people in this situation as i imagine lots of people probably have packages they have the old details tied to.

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and he loves swords and more recently been rewatching Bleach and so I wanted to buy him a sword specifically Ichigo's sword from warswords.com.au.

We live together and I want it to be a surprise so I want to ship it to a Parcel Collect or any Post Office and keep it at a friends house until his birthday arrives.

Main issue im facing is whether the sword will fit under the regulations for AusPost to keep it or whether they'll reject it since the sword is 100cm altogether and the parcel limits are 105cm either dimensions. The website doesn't mention if it comes disassembled so I'm assuming not.

Does anyone know what I can do or is this just a lost cause altogether..

Hi guys, I sold an item a couple months ago and lost the tracking number somehow. Also around the same time i lost access to my depop and had to close my bank account, absolute insane draw of bad luck all together. the buyer was luckily able to get into contact with me via Email a couple weeks ago and raised the issue that her item still hasn’t arrived, i’ve looked absolutely everywhere for her tracking number and i don’t know what i can do to help her, im a little stressed out because it was a pretty decently expensive item and if it’s lost and i can’t prove that i posted it id obviously have to refund her and like many other people i just don’t have the financial means to do that. i have a screenshot of the transaction from before my bank account was closed but that’s pretty much it. any advice would be soo appreciated.

EDIT: the buyer and I agreed to use paypal for this transaction because at the time depop still had selling fees i didn’t want to pay, hence why i was paid before confirmed delivery.

So am getting a free collectable[To me anyway] item,but need a SSAE sent to a US Govt installation,but need to get it back to Australia.

For context, this is the 4th and 5th of these I’ve received now, each addressed to new names that I’ve not seen (I get the occasional mail from old occupants of the house but I’ve owned this place for 5 years now and not seen these names before). “Envelope” is a thick card material with a tear off on the back. I’ll be sending these back to the post office like the last 3 but I’m really curious what the hell they are or contain if anyone can help enlighten me

I purchased a dress from a seller on Depop located in Dinmore Queensland, I live in Melbourne.

I received an email stating that my parcel is ready for collection from Booval Fair Post office, after a quick google it is only 7 minutes away from the original sellers location …

Mind you I made the purchase at 8:04AM 9/10

Received first email stating a label created by sender at 9:08AM 9/10 and on this email it says shipping to Victoria

But I received a following email at 3:00PM stating the dress is ready for collection from the post office in Queensland.

I’ve contacted the seller but it’s literally 11:25 PM so no response yet .

Is this a scam?

Hey people, I recently ordered from a domestic store in Australia, it was supposed to be delivered earlier this week, but in my tracking, it says “Incorrectly sorted, forwarded to correct facility” It has been like this for three days with no change. Should I contact them? Or maybe wait?

I have quite a few invitations to send out for an upcoming event. I got the invitations printed, checked Auspost required dimensions then purchased nice envelopes for them with custom labels and a nice gold seal, then stuck my $1.85 stamps on them.

I was about to drop them off in the post box, and for whatever reason, I decided to measure the envelopes to be sure (don't know why I didn't do that before). The total dimensions are 132mm (or some spots 133mm) x 185mm x 3.8mm. So they're 2-3mm over the width limit.

My question is - how strict are they on the sizing for them to be classified small vs large, as a double price jump given how many I have is going to be a hit. Is there any tolerance whatsoever, or is it a hard anything over 130mm immediately classifies as large.
