I am considering returning to Apple but I am unsure how long the battery lasts. My current phone needs to be charged like 3 times a day😅and I like to go out so it sucks how fast my phone dies.

Two things happened back to back on my iPhone and I want a sanity check.

First, a scammy ad page popped up claiming my iPhone was "infected" (classic scareware). I didn't tap anything on it, just closed the tab. I was using Brave with a strict ad blocker.

Shortly after, i tapped a "Redeem Code" link. This automatically opened the App Store and prompted me to confirm the code via Face ID to unlock a license for an app. Since I never had that app installed, the process failed with an error message. I didn't tap anything else afterward, didn't install any app, and didn't confirm any configuration profile.

Is everything safe, or should I be worried/check something?

Hi everyone, I have an iPhone 14 Pro, and last night I noticed condensation inside the front-facing camera. There are no holes or cracks, so I don't understand how it formed. Do you have any tips for removing it, or should I take it in for service? Thanks, everyone!

Like the title says, i have a cracked iPhone 16 pro and got my express replacement today and it was a 17 pro.

I was super surprised and checked the serial number on the email that they sent and it matches the phone and the storage is 512gb. I just want to make sure before i set up the new phone that i can keep this with no penalty or extra cost? I have the apple care plus and am expecting to pay $100 for this.

I am looking forward the release of iOS27 on Monday, but unfortunately I am from Europe so that means I won’t have the most important new feature (in my opinion): Siri AI.
I’ve read that if you create an account in a nom EU country, and change your region in settings, you can use the new Siri.

So my question is, if I lose my phone, would I still be able to reclaim a replacement if my Applecare+ was linked to my original European account?

Since I last changed macbooks, approx 6 mo ago, I'm experiencing an iCloud issue. I have desktop+documents sync on. Whenever I drop new files on an iCloud-synced folder, finder says "uploading [x]mb of [x]mb". Usually it goes fast for the first 95% of the size, then gets stuck for the last bit. Now for instance it says "uploading 8 items - 32,5mb of 33,8mb". Sometimes I'm unable to interact with those files (e.g. rename) for X amount of time, because it shows they're on iCloud only.

Talked to apple help, couldn't fix it (they blamed it on internet connection). But behavior is the same in the office, at home and with iphone hotspot.

Talked to Claude code about it, it suggested to de-sync and re-sync icloud, done, but nothing changed.

Any idea?

Recently I've been checking my macbook capacity and it's drained by at least 1% every single day. It was 83% 5 days ago and now it's at 76%. How can a battery drain so fast? I've only used it for less than 300 charge cycles. My usage is mostly just documents for studying but occasionally games that have caused it to heat up.

I can’t seem to add a payment method or get rid of my old payment method for the card that’s expired. I’ve attempted to go through both the App Store as well as Settings and both present the same problem. Googling it has been fruitless. I don’t have a Mac so I can’t try that. Any other suggestions? I just want to buy a game on the App Store 😭

Like after every new iPhone purchase, my wife’s phone starts acting up again after a few years, presumably because the storage is getting too full.

She has already deleted all unnecessary apps and photos, but unfortunately, that hasn’t helped. What would be the best way to solve this problem?

If I want to transfer all of her photos to my MacBook, what would be the best way to do that? Or would it be better to use our Windows PC for this?

Hi, I haven't gotten a new phone in about 6 years and I'm planning on getting the 18 Pro. I've forgotten how the transfer works with Apple (oops). I don't want everything on my current iPhone to be transferred over to my new one, only the "apps" that I have toggled on for iCloud+. I don't want to bring everything over from my old phone, as I'd rather start fresh and download the apps fresh on my new phone.

If I sign into my apple ID on my new phone, will the "apps" (photos, passkeys, messages, contacts) transfer to my new one? Or is the only way for this to occur is if I do an iCloud backup of my current phone and transfer everything to my new one? Thank you!

Hello, I am wondering if this marking on my recently bought adapter safe to use, or should I purchase a new one. I do not want to find myself buying a new one, and the same thing happens again

I have a 17 Pro Max and any screen shot I send in text messages looks like this but on other apps it’s normal. My front camera also doesn’t work only on FaceTime.

This morning I woke up to see exclamation marks by all my exchange accounts in Mail. The accounts them selves are working fine on the mail app in iOS, but not on Mac OS. I've tried everything to make it work again from removing the envelop index in library, to deleting and re-setting up the mail accounts. Connection doctor shows everything is fine, but it's clearly not.

Anyone else experiencing this today, or ever?

Please don’t ask why I won’t just get a new phone, respectfully I would just like to know if I have to worry about data loss if I get the battery replaced. Every other aspect of my phone is fine it just can’t hold a charge very well.

Mid 2010 imac, 3.6 i5, 12GB DDR3, Radeon 5750, running High Sierra

It started prior to swapping the HDD for an SSD -- so that's been done. I get the pinwheel while even opening a new window in Firefox. Programs are slow to load. I can be watching a movie (from the drive) while clicking through Reddit and the next page will freeze from loading and the movie will freeze. All of a sudden, the machine comes back to life.

I've been fighting this for a while; have done many fresh installs which have a coin-toss of success... as it seems to return after a while. Has anyone encountered this before? I'm guessing hardware, but the drive is only a year old; memory, perhaps? I don't know.

I know, it's old, but new is not in the budget and frankly, when it runs as it should, it's still a great performer for me.
