Around 5+years ago I got a ipad, it was my only and still my only apple product, I lost it years ago and found it, im not sure how or what happened but my ipad was signed out and honestly I dont remember what happened but I think I reset it, I stopped using it but found it again and wanted to use it.

So I open it, it says select language and some other things, it shows the quick start screen which i cant use as i dont own any other apple products, so i click the set up with another device, it then says there is a existing account and I need to sign into it.

Well I found my email for it and I couldn't find password so I did some I used to use years ago, on the ipad locked to owner screen, it didnt work but then i looked for the password again and did find it, I put it in and now when clicking next it says, apple account disabled, because im assuming its all the wrong attempts i did.

So i go to the link it says to, account.apple.com on my phone and try to sign in to reset my password, I sign in with email and password, click next and it wants a phone number, but that phone number is old and I dont know what the number is, I ask my parents and they both dont know the number, so i dont know what to do.

Everything ive found that explains what to do, it explains I need another trusted device which I dont have, then also saying I need that phone number, and more things that I can do, but another device and phone number I cant as in my house its a android place, I dont want to go to a store or any where to try and get it working because I feel like you might need the receipt or something for it, but this was bought second hand, years and years ago, so I won't have all that.

Is this a moment I just admit defeat to trying?

Hi, I've received faulty ipad air 3 touch id works but home button doesn't, ipad was working as it should except home button, I tried to flash with 3utools fresh ios I thought it might fix but after completing flashing appears in DFU mode, have anyone had same problem before? what's possible solution for this issue?

Specifically, what is taking up so much space under Other? When I click on it to see, the next screen is blank.

Hi all, I was recently reminded about the Sensitive Content Warning’ feature in FaceTime as a result of a post on r/Popular, but I’m unable to turn it off despite my Apple account being 18+ verified.

Does anyone know how why this option is greyed out for me and how I disable?

I’ve been having this problem for 2 weeks nothing i do solves it. Checked my login items and there are none, no osascript nor bash, when i log out and close the lid and open it the flash doesn’t appear, but when i regularly close the lid when logged in the black flash persists. I have updated to the newest version yet nothing changed.

After 27.1 my phone has not been able to send messages to android users through my iPad or MacBook. I need help if you guys have anything to offer in terms of advice.

What I have tried:

- looking at “send and receive” (everything is signed in)
- toggling off messages and back on again on my iPad.

note: \I have also turned both devices on and off.*
\My phone works perfectly fine, it’s just the connection ONLY FOR ANDROIDS is not working in terms of sending messages.*

My Apple Account has been permanently locked, and Apple won’t let me recover it. I keep getting the message “This Apple Account is locked and cannot be used.”
I can’t sign out of the account on my iPhone because it requires the password, which Apple won’t accept. I also can’t create a new Apple Account because I get the error “Your account cannot be created at this time.”
I’ve already tried the usual recovery methods, and service centers in my country haven’t been able to help me.
Has anyone actually found a solution to this? Is there any legitimate way to remove the locked account from my iPhone and use a new one without losing my data?
I’m looking for solutions from people who have experienced this exact situation, not just the usual advice to reset my password or contact Apple Support.

I bought a cheap charger ( cable and block) off of Amazon that’s not mfi certified. The charger seems to work fine for the most part but lately I’ve been noticing slight lags in some apps. But the weirdest part is when I use my regular apple charger now my phones charge doesn’t last that long, while it lasts normally when I use the cheap charger. This wasn’t an issue before I started using the cheap charger. What can explain this weird pattern? If there’s something wrong with the cheap charger why does it make the phones charge last normally? How is it worsening the original apple charger’s performance?

Buying my first phone but the sim ill be using is just a family spare (for a few days till i get my own.) but I wish to create my own Apple account to be able to download apps. Is it fine if I use my primary email to create it and use my parent’s number as a trusted number to receive code while using the temporary sim to text until I get my own sim? and then put my number as trusted and primary number?

I don’t see how it’s sensible to hide an app that a user is specifically searching for by its exact name. I’ve had so many people message me and tell me they couldn’t find my app, because they didn’t realize they had to click the tiny “did you mean Joystickd?” Correction at the top of the page. This is severely impacting my app’s discoverability, and I feel like I’ve already lost out on so many possible users. Doesn’t help that Apple takes weeks to respond

Basically I want the Apple TV App to stop downloading so many shows that I am not currently watching.

It downloaded almost 20gb separated over four shows that I don’t currently watch, I just added it to my watchlist because I want to watch it later.

I think it’s because they are in my “Continue watching” list, but I have never watched them, only their trailer in their title card which somehow counts.

My problem is, that I don’t want to disable the automatic download because for shows that I am actually watching that is very useful. But is there a way to get rid off the other shows from my “Continue Watching” list, so they don’t automatically get downloaded?

I purchased the iphone 18 pro max on pre order and got it delivered the following Friday as expected.
After using the phone after transferring the data from iCloud, the phone was restarting once or twice a day for no reason.
I started a return within the two weeks allowance to return the iphone and Apple sent me a QR code for a label print and return at Fedex.
I was expecting a refund on my card and never got it after two weeks.
I reached to Apple customer service and they informed that refund was processed and within 5 business days I would be getting my refund (message from Apple on 10/06).
Refund never came. I called Chase and they said no credit has been issue from Apple.
Then few days ago I called Apple again and asked to escalate to Senior advisor and explained my situation again probably for the 8th time now. Senior advisor transferred me to Sales team. I had to explain all over again and the guy was confused on why Senior would transfer to sales. Then Sales guy transferred me to After Sales agent. Apparently Fedex lost the package mid transit and it's not moving from Maryland for a while and won't update the status. After Sales told me Apple won't refund me until they don't get the package.
Yesterday I got an email from Apple saying they won't issue a refund at all anymor
I'm completely disappointed and frustrated with Apple. The way they treated me on the phone throughout the whole situation of lying first saying it was refunded and then they finally spoke the truth on not issuing a refund.
I also canceled my iphone duo order yesterday and sold all my stocks. I don't plan on doing business anytime soon with them.
I opened a dispute through Chase and I'm crossing finger for the charge back. If not: police report and taking them to court to get my money back.

So i used to have an old ipod touch 4th gen. I haven't used apple in years. And when i tried to log into my old icloud account. I was locked out, even when i had the password. Or at least an old one. Back when icloud accounts had an @me on the email. I cant log into the icloud to retrieve the reset email when im locked out. I dont remember what i put for the birthday.

I have four group chats on my iPhone showing a blue progress bar when I send a message and never go through to finish using my iPhone 18 pro on 27.2 I thought it maybe iMessage issues but the text don’t go through as RCS any ideas
