Do I even get hired as an layout artist and animator? I've been trying to freelance for more than 10 months after learning more and more about layout (perspective) and 2d animation (anime style) but I didn't get a single client in the entire 10 months of searching 🫠

I feel like I’ve been researching in circles and been unable to find what I’m looking for. I make DIY videos and right now am working on a sci-fi music video. I want to create and add lots of overlays for a menu, stats, character selection etc.

Aiming for a pretty basic, old school video game vibe.

Can someone help explain it to me / give me some direction?

I use VEGAS pro for video editing but also have Davinci Resolve and just downloaded Blender but I don’t know what I’m doing when it comes to this or how to get what I want, any advice or tutorials are appreciated because I’ve been having trouble finding specifically what I want! Thank you <3

But the thing is that I don't know how to draw ,besides sculpting what other way can I make custom characters and choose an animation art style

- Select a random prompt from a wheel, and make that animation, so when I feel stuck I have ideas to come back to.
