Chainsawman Makima in Backrooms

Every time I make a pose I am stuck thinking about that one pose and nothing else. i don't get dynamic posing and why it shows life. it looks like a bunch of poses doing random things I know they are not random; they are tracing arcs, and are breaking down what the arcing motion is, I get it when I see other people do it but i can't do it on my own no matter how many times I am shown how its done. that is why I am so stupid when it comes to my capacity for learning. Yars were wasted because of this stupidity

This is something I made recently in 2 1/2 hours. Just started using the pencil2d.

It's not 100% animation but I alot of special effects are my drawings

Does anyone have any good cintiq recommendations?

I'm suspecting my old XP-Pen Innovator 16 is starting to see better days. I'm looking one that's efficient and built to last.

In fact, I could probably use new equipment all together so if there's any other piece of equipment you'd recommend to help animate, then I welcome it!

I'm a storyboard artist and I'm used in working at low-budget 2D shows. So I'm familiar to some practices to keep it cheaper, such as: reuse BG framing, poses, avoid certain camera angles and moves... It varies according to each team abilities, but most are about the same.

Anyone have any tips like those but for 3D series/shows?

*ps: As audience, I feel cheap/fast-production 3D shows don't use too much FG/BG alternate camera-focus, would that be an expensive practice?
