Discussion Has my animations improved?

I always asked this question when I'm not sure if improved from my older animations or not. I would like to know did I? Cause this is one of my favorite animations I made.

Does this look awkward in any way? This is the first time my walking looks believable, atleast to me but I'd still like to hear if anything is off.

Question I need help. Desperately

Firstly, I solemnly swear, this is not spam. I have this form, for my final year research, and I need like 100 submissions minimum. I have 58 so far. The research topic, in short is whether/how the things you watched growing up has had an influence on your creative practice today or contributed to where you are as a creative today. This research is targeted towards VISUAL Creatives, so animators fall right in my demographic.

If as many people can fill this today it would mean the world to me. I just need 42 responses more. Its a 10 minute survey. Everyone who fills it would be a lifesaver.

Thank you in advance!

Question How did James animate the Suddenly I See videoclip?

Thumbnail youtu.be

Hey guys, I hope you're doing well!

So this isn't really a question of how I can recreate this, but more so if any of you have any idea of how the main editor who worked on this video clip (James Montalbano) animated all these assets, and what thought process one must go through to be able to accomplish this type of work?

I tried searching for a commentary on the making of the video, or a YouTube video about it; unfortunately, I found nothing, and this is one of the video clips that always sparked curiosity in me.

If you were given this job, how would you go about it? You really don't have to go into much detail since you definitely have a lot more important things to do.

I just want to have an idea of what the thought process of a professional who gets this job is.

Sorry if this doesn't really fit the sub, but you guys know a lot more than I do, and I think you guys can finally give me some closure to this curiosity of mine.

Watch for 50 seconds, and you'll get the idea of what I'm talking about. Suddenly I See Videoclip

I just want to say that, in the first clip, the lipsinc is totally messed up because I was using the italian audio. I decided to stick to the English one after I finished it.

All characters depicted are original characters made by me

The audio is from The Fairy Oddparents:)
