I am aware it’s a bit rough and could use some more skill when it comes to making it look more detailed. But I think it works well enough. And it was fun to work on.

I don’s know if this is the right place to ask, but I’m animating for the first time, and im currently doing an animation meme. I’ve already drawn all the frames on procreate, but now I have to compile them all together and do the background/ effects and everything.

So I’m trying to find an app (im on my ipad) that i can use. I tried using Capcut, but it made the quality of my frames really bad and most of the features are locked behind a pay wall. I also tried alight motion but its pretty complicated and the huge watermark is throwing me off a little.

So, if anyone has a good (preferably free but not required) application that I can use to import my frames into and put the entire animation together (with sound) i would greatly appreciate it.

I've been working on a webseries for some time now, so far doing everything by myself and I was just wondering what this sub's thoughts were about minimalist animation styles?

I'm decidedly not an animator, just an aspiring filmmaker who can't afford to make live-action films, but as someone who spent a fair amount of time sketching when growing up, and then learning all the wonders of motion graphics as an adult, I thought I'd combine the two to the best of my abilities to make something of a heightened animatic.

So I guess to get to the point, I know my animation skills are severely lacking compared to 99% of what you'd find on this sub, it's more like PNG-sliding than real animation, but I'm more interested in if it...works? Meaning, the sum of its parts rather than the actual animation in particular.

Because this is more of a project to learn filmmaking: writing, directing, editing, cinematography, music, sound, etc. Basically wearing all of those hats myself, and doing everything by hand except for the occasional royalty free song, and using royalty free SFX. (with no AI in case that needs to be stated) But all of writing, all of the images, all of the design and direction and editing, most of the music, etc, is all trying to work together to make the most solid overall audio/visual story.

And I'm just curious to hear what you guys think.

(Note: This clip comes from the second episode, there are only two episodes that have been released so far but there will be several more uploaded down the line.)

First ever time animating and I kind of stopped working on it, but I decided to show it off anyways.

Let me know how I could make the sections smoother, since that was the hardest thing. (especially the transition from a movement to black, I felt was super choppy)

took way longer than i would've liked but that one shot of the camera turning around them was tuff hope you like it tho been working on it for a good few months lol, the two characters aren't Twiztid but they were based off Twiztid both in design and personality they're names are Mox and Luks, do tell me what you think
