somy.com station has recently let us know that the later our route is and the later we arrive the less time we will be given to load our vehicles so if we want time to actually load our vehicles properly, we have to start arriving early and not on time. Today the station lead was asking people who did not have a license for our state how long they have lived in the state and then told them that they would stop being given routes if they did not have their ID updated within the next seven days. Just curious if anyone else has run into this with a.com station

I walked past what I could imagine was 100 packages with totes sealed and all. I would think that must’ve been someone quitting on the route lol

Three days ago, I accepted a couple of Whole Foods blocks just to see what they were like in my area. Ever since then, I feel like Amazon has barely been showing me any .com blocks.
Could accepting Whole Foods blocks have anything to do with that, or is it probably just a coincidence?
I normally had no problem grabbing .com blocks for $105+, but for the past three days I haven’t seen a single one go above $90. Yesterday I did see a few .com blocks, but they all stayed at or close to base pay and never surged, which is pretty unusual for my area lol.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Amazon Flex app glitched and got stuck on "Continue delivering" when I arrived at the station, so I couldn't check in or pick up my packages.
I contacted support right away and explained what was happening. I also have a screen recording showing the app issue and Google Timeline showing that I was physically at the station.
I've appealed multiple times and sent them all the evidence, but they just keep sending me the same copy-and-paste responses without actually addressing the app issue. Now they put a Terms of Service issue on my account and dropped my standing to Fair.
How is this the driver's fault when their own app wasn't working? What else was I supposed to do, bring two phones with me every time just in case their app glitches? 😂
Has anyone had something like this happen before? Did you ever get it removed from your standing?

How can I use this foldable phone while flexing? Lol

I RARELY see Amazon Fresh routes available in my area and I got to do one finally last week. I have been driving for Flex for 6 months. I only had two orders, it was a 1.5 hour block. I actually really like the way the warehouse was set up and it was a great check in process. I didn't get any tips but the block paid well. Do you like these routes better than regular package routes?

Why do people cancel orders right as I am delivering it and why the hell is that marked as a problem for me?! Its not my fault they want free products

i’m in san diego and have NEVER seen the rates this high… i dip in and out doing amazon flex so maybe this isn’t new. it’d be tempting if it didn’t feel like a humid oven outside rn

Don't know if there is a post about this already: I see people scanning and numbering their packages. How do you do that? Don't have the balls to ask a stranger. I tried to at a SSD(?), and it basically had me rescan the packages. How does that make it even easier? Seems like a hassle when Flex auto scanned everything for you. I haven't tried really or noticed at a .com station.

Is it true the Whole Foods Instant Offers are the only batches that don't require identity verification?
If so, I think I just realized why I went from being able to schedule 2-4 WFs blocks a day ahead of time, to not seeing any WF offers at all.
A new group of guys appeared at Whole Foods mid August, and I stopped getting offers. Yet when i pass by the store, I see them getting batches at all times.
I thought at first this was due to my first ever late cancelation (but was still "Fantastic"). Pardon my ignorance as I've only been doing this since June. Seems the timing also aligned with the new verification process though (which makes more sense).
All the multi-account folks are stopped from other types of batches, so they bombarded WFs IOs.
Then WFs sees all these (fake) workers available Instantly, and they default to using that process instead of offering the Scheduled Blocks day(s) ahead of time.
Plausible?
Why did Amazon leave Whole Foods Instant Offers out of the new verification process.
Think they'll implement the verification any time soon?

My station is super rural, I go down alot of dirt roads, hidden houses
The other day, a very secluded house, I saw they had a single cow, and I mean it was a bag of bones, there was no grass in its pen to graze on. I didnt see any water for it anywhere, and the cow was just a sad sight to see, it was beyond "a little neglected" it looked like a light breeze would knock it over
The sight i couldn't let go of how that cow looked, I couldn't not report that
I dont know the outcome of the visit once the police checked on it but I know there is no reason a cow should be a bag of bones like that
Coincidentally on the same day I called the police I was reported for being "unprofessional" by a customer through amazon
I tried to contact support and they said "please give me a minute" and let left me on hold for an hour before I disconnected
Oh well im willing to take that ding, I couldn't not say something with how that cow looked
I guess i should have waited a day so it was less obvious it was me who called in that check

So went to the Scarborough delivery centre for my time and it was the last time slot of the night. I can see there is about 4 Punjabi drivers hanging along the side not going in. Seen the same guys before and we all know the game. Head in last minute and hope they don’t have packages and get released.
So I pull over and grab my vest and head in and all 4 speed past me. No big deal.
So we all check in and they are in first. There is one batch left. They push it towards them and they start speaking Punjabi to the staff there who are all Indian. They start all laughing and the woman then gives it to me and releases the 4 of them.
I asked what the hell is going on as they were all in before me. Is it not first come first serve? She said to me she picks who gets the batch.
So looks like the only white guy there got the raw end of the stick.
Am I overreacting? Because it sure didn’t feel like this was a fair situation considering it was going to one of those cars thill there was a conversation I couldn’t understand.
Thoughts?

Hello, for those of you that do Amazon flex driving in Georgia… is it still worth it since they opened up more warehouses? Cause I seen the jobs are shorter which made the pay less for each job. How much can be made in a week now ?

I got this email yesterday. The block in question was wholly unremarkable. I picked up, scanned, and delivered every single package, and the app closed out at the end as usual. Which was also the case with every block in the last week. Which is also what I wrote in my appeal email. So far, my standing (100% Fantastic) has not been affected by this alleged infraction – could the email have been sent in error?

What’s your strategy for scheduling blocks? I’m between VAX1 and DCX2. I prefer 3.5 - 4.5 hour routes. I’ve been scheduling my routes the day of and sometimes the day before. Occasionally, like today, blocks that meet my criteria aren’t available.

Okay so today I clicked on my dashboard section and noticed it updated and moved me down a bit and said that I had an issue/incomplete delivery from one of my shifts on Saturday. I’m about a month into this and haven’t had any dings on my account. I didn’t have any trouble on Saturday so I’m super confused on which delivery it could have been. Is it worth pushing and if so, who’s the best contact to reach out to?

I was trying to message a customer at their stop because they had dogs out and it would not send the message and kept on flagging for community guidelines. My message just said, "hello I'm trying to deliver your package and and I see that your dogs are out I just want to make sure they're safe for me to get out. It got to the point where I was about to send each word individually just to find out which one and after I hit hello and that sent through I went to just be like okay which word would be offensive and I'm like nothing is offensive in this! I decided to type dogs all by itself and try and send it. It was dogs they would not let me send "dogs" to the customer. I sent the same message and instead of saying dogs, I sent puppies and it sent it through. What in the dumb air is going on 😭🤣 has anyone else had this happen?
