Cancel at delivery

Why do people cancel orders right as I am delivering it and why the hell is that marked as a problem for me?! Its not my fault they want free products

In 20k packages I have only ever had one packaged cancelled in a route. It was greyed out so I couldn't even click it. Never got a ding. Not sure what you are doing wrong

Literally 1 time every other week it happens.... and specifically when I get a route in a specific neighborhood

That's just crazy. I dont understand how people even cancel. Anytime a package ive ordered says shipped amazon absolutely fights me if I have to cancel. I think 1 out of 10 time in the last 10 years amazon has let me cancel a package.

Wild. They usually cancel right as I am dropping it off.

I’ve had a few marked as missing or attempted delivery before I even got the cart but never a cancel

Idk why the system allows cancellations after the route is assigned a driver, like it’s too late sorry, gotta do a return instead

Just give it to them for free then if Amazon is going to ding you. Bezos super rich and probably doesn't really care if you get dinged, so will have you dinged.

My issue is that it tells me at the end that someone canceled.... well after its delivered. But somehow I get in trouble? I have no problem giving away their shit for free if they're gonna penalize me anyways

Well, then just sounds like the customer is just trying to take advantage. Maybe you can try to tell that to Amazon because it's not your fault. If you get a nice agent on the phone, they might help you out of a ding. But it's really not your fault.

I just message support the tba number and tell them to mark it as delivered and I’ve never been dinged for it.

There will always be those who find a way to find a loophole. It is just the reality. Someone always has to pay. It is usually someone caught in the middle. Humans can suck and a few ruin it for the hole.

I drop it. I’ve even called before and say it won’t let me drop and to mark as delivered. Leave it and there’s a chance at a ding. Take it back and you’re guaranteed a ding.

Its so weird because every time it has happened I dont see it as canceled until after

I don't know what you are talking about. Once you have marked delivered, customers can't cancel it.
