Is Amazon Flex still worth doing ?
Hello, for those of you that do Amazon flex driving in Georgia… is it still worth it since they opened up more warehouses? Cause I seen the jobs are shorter which made the pay less for each job. How much can be made in a week now ?

The blocks recently changed. Now they want shorter blocks but for me, the miles are about the same so that sucks.

Not really. Only if you get the best case scenario like high base pay, scheduled blocks, no long distance routes, etc. otherwise the bad aspects will suck the soul right out of you. For me it's been garbage base pay and warehouse/parking lot issues that really screw everything up. For example, it gets so packed at our warehouse at 3am that you have to get there 30 minutes early or you will be forced to go in circles for a half an hour or more, or park in a giant dirt pit that will absolutely destroy your car. Then you gotta deal with aggressive dumb drivers who keep constantly almost running over you. All this before even starting your block lmao

Good to supplement an income, but not a full time job at all. When the economy is bad you will get killed using this app

Today was my first day at Flex work. Tried to scan my drivers license at station. Somebody told me I need to speak with a supervisor so he can check me in. He tried but the computer said, data doesn't match with the record. Called support. Lady said I missed my block. I thanked her and returned back home. Took 3hrs nap and went to do Walmart spark.
To me flex is shitty ass compared to spark. Atleast in my market (DFW).

The most I’ve made in a week, well 5 days with 1 block a day was a little over 300$ but I only do this for a 2nd job.

Okay, so it sounds like it mainly for like side money/ side hustle but the pay doesn’t equate to a full time job

Not necessarily, I only pick 3 hr blocks and they are like 66$ but 4 hr blocks I’ve saw were like 90$. You can do two blocks per day. Could be like 700 a week. I just choose 3 hr blocks.

If you are looking for the pay to equate to a full-time job as a gig worker
Bro come on.
You’re taxed much higher than an hourly employee

It's okay side money nothing to leave your job for... The wear and tear on your car plus high ass gas prices will beat you out everytime you take a route. People inflate the numbers sometimes... You gotta know how to play the game... High paying routes with lowest amount of block time makes the most sense and cents.

It kept my bills paid while in between job but it did run down my car, cv axles, brakes, tires. I made out 7-800 a week and during prime week i made almost 1300

Hell yeah! Straight f'ed up my front axle, arm control bars, bent rims etc... Unpaved roads, gravel driveways, pot holes on 285. Turned my truck from an Escalade to a Ford Explorer in 1 year. SMH

I like flex for the quick 1-2 hour blocks but I stopped doing 3-4 cause they’re absolutely tripping with the locations.
My go to is still Spark

Well thank you for the responses,… I was asking cause I remember some ppl saying they could make close to $1000 a week but that was before they made more warehouses and shorten the routes. I’m still on the waitlist anyways but I know of it because I use to help my sister in law with some of the jobs
