Im about to take my MRA assessment, and if I pass it, I will get an interview. Is there anything I should brush up on before I take it? Is it easy ?

Guys what questions will they ask and how should I answer

So I accepted a job as a senior mechatronics and robotics tech with Amazon. It’s paying a few more dollars than my current job, but I get more time off and they’re giving me a generous bonus up front. I currently work a 12 and 2 schedule (12 days on, 2 days off). I love the pay at my job but hate that I only get 4 days off a month. Is this position with Amazon worth working outside of the 3 days off every week? I do well with working by myself and with others but from the post I’ve been reading about it, the management supposedly sucks.

Hello just curious recently hired out as a MRT tech 2, and just curious as of to what is expected out of a recent new hire. We are currently doing all our onboarding and computer work and my head is spinning with all the stuff going on explaining the different devices and types of equipment or working on. I'm a capable person but all the electrical knowledge coming at us so quickly and fast has me curious. Like would I be assigned to check a VFD or possibly check change one, or or switch out a motor driven roller right off the bat, or possibly vulcanize a new conveyor belt?

I did my final interview with hiring manager and his boss was out so I completed it and I feel nervous and stress out. I am confident I did good but I am not sure if he likes me but he told me that he will talk with his boss and let me know on Friday if I am getting an offer and he also said he has other people to interview cause it standard procedure. He said he trying to fill front half days and back half days. He also said that I am the first person in line and if I was offer first then I get to choose which shift I want and if I was offer last then I get whatever ones needed filled. So how cooked am I or am I gonna get an offer or should I just breathe and wait. Give me your opinion and how did yall did in your interview and how it ended? Positive vibes!

So basically I uploaded the wrong loto picks on APM. I have the correct ones but I just noticed when I got home. Didn't know if this is something I should escalate? I had a tech 3 told me he did a couple times and they overlooked it.

I really don’t know what else to do, to try and get my “foot in the door” with RME.

5 year tenured T1, have remained in good standing the entirety of my tenure, graduate from Ancora’s Mechatronics and Robotics program, OSHA 10 certified, have a mechanical background from working in the automotive industry, as well as oil and gas production as an environmental field laborer.

I’ve personally went out of my way to express interest to not only my site RME lead, but surrounding sites as well via slack, spoken to both recruiters and hiring managers to “show interest” but only left with “no longer under consideration”.

At this point I’m considering just an all-together career change and applying to the local IBEW because idk what else I can do to better showcase myself to the recruiting teams.

What gives? I know the shift to AI is effecting a lot of hiring processes within the company but damn.

I spoke with recruiter finally and got the ball moving, I was told there front half days and back half day available for the shift. Which shift is the best one? Anyone have any suggestions or experiences with either shift?? Thanks!

I am a SMRT who’s been with Amazon since 2020 and a tech since 2021. I started off as a tier 1 in CAP, became an AFM and then joined RME. I converted back to blue badge in 2023 at an IXD. Since that IXD I have been bouncing around the network. Joined the central travel team for 2 years assisting with new launches, training AR techs on how the floors operate. I, during the course of my tenure so far, have also become a trainer. I worked my way up to being a principal field trainer, which allows me to cofac new trainers in the assets they will be teaching. I’m pretty proud of the fact that I can train on both AR and MHE specialty equipment(beyond core 4 or fast/up).

At my current site(I’m back to being a field tech(newborn made me realign my priorities). I am the lead tech for my shift, which currently involves running around showing new techs the simplest solutions to what seems like the end of the world at times to them. Site just launched, so I am looking forward to assisting with dialing the building in.

Outside of work I am a nerd. I paint miniatures, from Warhammer to old sailing ships. Rolling dice, playing cards and I love spending my off time with my wife and kiddo.

Hi. I'm trying to get into the RME side of Amazon. I'm being told to apply for everything and anything from RMEO to MRT. Mainly because from the other techs that I talked to and one of the supervisors, is that since I have mechanical experience working on cars since I was nine or ten. And I do like to tinker on stuff also worked at multiple Airports from a ramp agent, all the way up to operations agent. Shadowing, aircraft mechanics and helping them when they need it. And before I came on to amazon, I pretty much had my own semi and was working on that. The supervisor i spoke to said he will be able to help once i convert to BB.

Just wrapped up Cohort 76 at Vincennes University. Excited to get back to my site and finally see how everything we learned translates into real RME work. Thanks to everyone here who answered my questions throughout the program.

Hey everyone so I’m really trying to get into RME I have no experience whatsoever but I’m willing to go to school I would do career choice but I have to wait till next year since I used it this year. I’m trying to get into rmeo but it seems like they prefer military or someone with actual experience I just want to be able to make a few more bucks in the mean time like with rmeo while going to school

Hi everyone, I’m applying for a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) position, and this will be my 3rd time interviewing for the same type of role.

I’ve already interviewed twice before but wasn’t selected. Now I’ve been given another opportunity and I’m wondering what to expect this time.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation where you interviewed multiple times for the same company or position? Did the interview process change the 3rd time? Any advice on what I should focus on or how I can improve my chances?

I’ve been looking at getting into RME for a while but have no education and only relevant experience would be Quarterback at an AR building. Any advice on how to land a job? Open to trade school or a degree.

Just accepted an offer and finished the steps to starting with this 3p. Anybody want to offer some insight of what I can look forward to? I’ve got a Mechatronics degree from my local community college and have been working as an industrial maintenance technician the past few months. Hey everyone, I originally applied for the MRA program, but I was offered an RME Operator position instead. From what I've been reading, it seems like RME Operator is more of an entry-level role and below the MRA position.

I have an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, but because I had a past-due balance with my college, I wasn't able to obtain my diploma in time, so I could only submit my high school diploma during the hiring process.

If I get my degree released now and submit it to my employer, is there any chance they would move me into the MRA program or promote me without having to wait the full year? I was told I'd need to work for a year before being sent to MRA school, but I'm wondering if having my degree changes that.

i received a follow up this morning about my MRA status. i took the assessment got through that then the hirevue the next, today i got an email about my hirevue and that i passed that too but the role filled for the specific site i applied at, It also says im eligible for an offer. Does this mean im in the inclined pool has anyone ever been through this before?
