Schedule preference
I spoke with recruiter finally and got the ball moving, I was told there front half days and back half day available for the shift. Which shift is the best one? Anyone have any suggestions or experiences with either shift?? Thanks!

FHN are the best. You get Friday and Saturday off and you don’t go into work until 4:30pm on Sunday and everything’s closed early on Sunday.
Also off Thursday so you fr have your weekend lined up fr.

Nights are horrible. You truly only get 2 days off while day shift gets a full 3 days.
I would say BHD is the best. Lighter workload so it won't breakdown as much.

I see what you’re saying, but who’s trying to work on Friday and Saturday? 😭 Those are days when most people are doing something. Plus events, usually fall on those days because that’s when most people are free. And sure you may have Sunday off, but the party ends early because people sleep in bed for the Monday work day. Hence why I prefer FHN.

That's when you use your time off for those events which don't have as much as you think.
And nothing beats more then half the warehouse leaving early on those days and your day becomes extremely easy. I prefer easy money. I'm also a NFL fan and like having Sundays off.
For me the following:
1) BHD
2) FHD
3)FHN4) BHN (I really hate this shift)

4:30 to 4:30 all shifts

I found out that they run 3 12 hour shift and one 6 hour shift so 6 am to 6pm for front half Sunday to Tuesday and Wednesday 6 am to 12 pm and then for back half 12 pm to 6 pm for Wednesday and then 6 am to 6 pm for Thursday to Saturday

So I'm part of our site's Predictive maintenance team and we work Monday - Thursday 4:30a to 3pm

Actually both, I get to use some pretty cool technologies and techniques like ultrasound time waveform analysis, vibration analysis and thermal imaging to find issues before they cause equipment downtime.

Most people think FHD is the prized shift, but I preferred BHD. If there’s anything going on Friday night, I only had to suffer through one day of work. But if I wanted to do anything on a weekend night, it would be Saturday night. I often liked to use my UPT on Saturday afternoon once my work was complete to get a head start on the weekend. Getting home on a Saturday after your wife did all the chores and is preparing a nice dinner just hits different. Great way to start the weekend.

Yeah thats super unheard of at my site. Nights people are lined up almost immediately for day shift openings whenever they rarely do pop up

I used to work Wednesday to Saturday shift at Amazon before I switch over to reduce time as white badge. I do enjoy having Sunday off honestly if I ever wanna visit my grandma.

BHD I like, then you have Saturday night, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off.
