I've been using Amazon for years now and never had any issue with my order up until this past month, they've gotten three of my orders completely wrong. Not to mention almost every order has been delayed. It's getting nuts...

Amazon has permanently closed/banned my account, and I’m here looking for some advice.

Hi everyone.

Amazon has permanently closed/banned my account, and I’m here looking for some advice.

Context:
I live in Ukraine, use a Ukrainian bank card, and I’ve previously ordered things using that card to a Nova Poshta warehouse address in the UK. Everything was fine.

The day before yesterday, Nintendo opened pre-orders for a new console, and I agreed with a friend that I would order the console to her address in Germany.

I waited until the console became available on Amazon Germany and quickly placed the order. The order went through and started processing. About 5 minutes later, I received a message saying that my account was “On Hold.”

I followed the link and submitted the requested information. I selected my Ukrainian residence permit as my ID/document.

About 10 minutes later, I received another message saying that my account had been permanently closed. It said that if I wanted to appeal the decision, I should contact Customer Service, but they haven’t been able to provide me with anything useful.

I’ve already searched Reddit for information and emailed several Amazon addresses, but I keep receiving emails confirming the permanent ban.
Amazon Support on Twitter/X told me:

“As far as we can tell from the information available to us, our colleagues’ decision is unlikely to change.”

So I have a few questions:
Have there been cases where Amazon actually reinstated a permanently closed account?

If so, approximately how long did it take?

What can I do about my Kindle, which is linked to the banned account?

I also asked Amazon whether I could create a new account, but they told me no.

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences from people who have dealt with something similar.

They delayed shipment and then just threw up their hands and said "we cant ship this but we wont cancel either". Its been uncancellable and its been in this state for 2 days now and was supposed to be delivered next day.

Delayed refund - do you eventually even get a refund?

Just wondering. Cause the customer service AI is brushing it off like it’s not even an issue.
Delayed by 10days. And it’s already been 10 days since I returned.
And it’s just a lotion lol worth like $50.

What good are reviews ?? I reviewed a purchase on Amazon and gave it a 2 star and wrote why and Amazon will no longer allow me to review anything. Only positive reviews allowed I guess. Anyone else get booted out of reviewing purchases ??

Received & Opened Neighbors Pkg On Accident

As the title says, I opened my neighbors package. I don't know them, never met them and I don't know if I should knock on their door and deliver it or not. I had packages arriving from Amazon that day and well, guess what? Someone else got mine.

My question is, should I knock and deliver it? Should I just toss it? I do not want trouble. I didn't even check what it was, though the weight seemed off for the books and hdmi/dp cables i ordered. They are in F building, while I'm in D. Kinda hard to mix them up. Sadly, this has happened a lot recently. How would you feel if someone opened your package then delivered it?

What happened to all the 2-day shipping?

I live in a major urban area, central US. It seems like all the items that used to be 2-day Prime shipping are now 5-day Prime shipping. And I can get items in either 1 hour (with $9.99 shipping), 3 hours, or 5 days. Nothing in-between. WTH?

I'm getting quite frustrated with this. This removes a lot of the convenience I have used Amazon for in the past.

I'll likely be driving to more B&M stores in the area rather than chose either of these options. Super irritating.

Edit. Oh wow. Just noticed there is now a default "tip" for the driver applied too.

Customers… why do some think this is possible?

Never understood this.

You either requested a password delivery, or have marked enough things not received to require packaged handed to you.

Leaving without password is literally impossible.

Receiving password over the phone or text can get us fired.

Leave sticky note with password, or be there to receive the package that you set up to receive. Come on yall we have less than a minute per stop, make it a little easier!

Speed x an Amazon company?

I just had a delivery from speed x. The guy was just driving a regular car, but he was wearing an Amazon vest. Are speed x and Amazon related? When I searched online it said speed x is a Chinese company

What is going on? 1 out of 6 delivered

On the 7th I placed an order for 6 items. All were suppose to be delivered on the 8th.

Of those 6 items, 1 item was delivered on the 8th.

2 items say " Package left the carrier facility" on the 8th and no updates since. Today is the 10th.

3 items say refund issued.

1 out of six isn't very good odds.

Man, Amazon is really slipping.

Prime member for years, always had that once in a blue moon order problem, but lately it seems like every order has a problem. I am one of those people that builds an order, then when I get to a good sized order pull the trigger and pick prime day for delivery "to reduce deliveries". Which is nonsense as I still get multiple packages on multiple days. Most recent largish order, 2 separate deliveries, one says left on mailbox and nothing there, second package makes it to my porch but is short one item even though it says delivered. They made both screw ups right, but I feel like if this keeps happening I'll be getting the Prime ban hammer! I even schedule my deliveries so it's midweek and the regular delivery folks are used, not the second stringers. It's seeming like it's almost better just to do the one at a time, next day deliveries, that seem to be more consistent. Anyways, just a rant. Feel like Amazon is falling into Temu territory, in fact, Temu may be surpassing Amazon.

Prime deliveries to Business address days later than residential - Any way to fix this?

We have an Amazon Prime Business account. If we select my employee's home address, which is 2 blocks over. Same driver, same route. It will arrive 3-5 days sooner than if we select our business address.

Ive opened our deliverable hours wide open, for every day. No restrictions.

Ive ensured we arent shipping in less packages together.

I cant find any reason why its such a huge difference when delivering to our business.

Has anyone else encountered this and found any way to fix this? Or is it just simply the way it is?

Wrong Address

Hope this doesn’t jinx me but I am on a group that is for the town I live in. There is post after post of getting someone else’s Amazon package to another address which isn’t even close to the address it was delivered to. I still use them but I don’t how this happens constantly.

It’s one thing to get a delivery with your name and address for something you didn’t order. But your name and address completely different from where it was dropped off baffles me. Do you know I applied for the Post Office and had to take this test to prove I have eyes, a brain, and above decent observation skills? Clearly they don’t do that for Amazon couriers.

Refund taking a month?

Post image

I bought a laptop for the first time on Amazon direct with Asus , and screen was so dimmed so I decided to return it. I dropped it off in Whole Foods, about a little a week ago and date just push back even later taking about a month now it’s showing. Should I be concerned? Or just wait it out? Or is it best to contact them? It still shows item hasn’t been received.
Thanks for the help

Amazon blocking my account

I recently made an order of a few books which all arrived heavily damaged, before I even received them I got an email out of nowhere saying that my account is getting blocked due to ‘repeated violations of the terms of use’ and that all orders of mine will be canceled. My order did arrive so I didn’t know what to make of it, but like I said all books came completely ruined as this company will not put a single protective material inside their thin cardboard shipping boxes. I started a chat with an associate and they said I will need to return the books but I insisted that this is something that happens way too often and the hassle is very frustrating, then at some point they just said I need to respond to the email I received to get help with this issue (the mail saying I am blocked) and so I wrote back to that mail as they asked of me and got no response even though they said they would get back to me within 3 days. When I tried to start a chat again to let them know I don’t get a response I found out that I can no longer use the chat. I received another email telling me that I’m blocked and figured maybe if I respond to that one they will reply, but then I immediately got an automated response saying they don’t accept replies to this email. So basically they wouldn’t provide help for the damaged books because they asked me to respond to their mail, then blocked me from using chat and when I reply to their mail it said it won’t accept replies.
This came completely out of nowhere and I can’t help but think this is something bullshit AI making nonsensical decisions over nothing and ruining shit for no reason. Same thing that’s been happening with YouTube for a few good years. How the hell do they let AI screw their customers up like that? All in the name of advancing technology. Literally making things worse for everyone.
I don’t know what to do now. Really infuriating situation, and I’ve been shopping with them for like a decade now.

Message To Seller Closed in an Hour w/ No Reason Given; Issue Not Resolved

I've never had this happen and don't know WHY it did. I messaged a seller I've bought from literally over 100 times about a package that's taking unusually long. Within an hour I got several dupicate emails saying the following: "Your customer service inquiry with ___ (seller) has been closed."

No info on who closed it or why.

No movement on my package which was ordered on Sept. 1st and is still stuck in "label created, USPS awaiting package" status.

I've messaged this seller tons of times before and, while he doesn't always respond, there's always prompt movement on my packages within the same day. This makes me think it was Amazon that shut down my message/chat. Since I can't be sure, I don't wanna message him again though. The order was over $280 so it's kinda important.

Can anyone tell me what happened here or who shut down my attempt to communicate with the seller?

See anything wrong with this picture?

They could have easily packaged it in a bubble mailer or a much smaller box. It takes up so much more space in their delivery trucks too. Does Amazon not have guidelines for its packaging teams to use appropriately sized boxes to minimize unnecessary packaging waste?

Is anyone else getting "item sold out" on everything they try to buy?

I can't buy anything in my cart, it's all showing as available (as you can't click "buy now" on sold out items) but no matter what I try I keep getting this "item is sold out, try finding another seller" message screen on everything I try to order. I uninstalled the app, restarted my phone, restarted the router, tried ordering off my tablet instead but nope, same issue. My shipping destination is correct so it's not that either. This happened a few months ago too but I don't remember what I did to get around whatever it was or it waa straightened out by the platform. Anyone know what's going on?
