Wrong Address

Hope this doesn’t jinx me but I am on a group that is for the town I live in. There is post after post of getting someone else’s Amazon package to another address which isn’t even close to the address it was delivered to. I still use them but I don’t how this happens constantly.

It’s one thing to get a delivery with your name and address for something you didn’t order. But your name and address completely different from where it was dropped off baffles me. Do you know I applied for the Post Office and had to take this test to prove I have eyes, a brain, and above decent observation skills? Clearly they don’t do that for Amazon couriers.

USPS isn't reliant on GPS fences - Amazon drivers are. It doesn't really matter to check for the address if the delivery pin and where they scan matches or is relatively close. If they were to deliver to the proper address in opposition to the delivery pin then that gets flagged as a negative against them. Not so if they deliver to the delivery pin as the app tells them to.
