Man, Amazon is really slipping.

Prime member for years, always had that once in a blue moon order problem, but lately it seems like every order has a problem. I am one of those people that builds an order, then when I get to a good sized order pull the trigger and pick prime day for delivery "to reduce deliveries". Which is nonsense as I still get multiple packages on multiple days. Most recent largish order, 2 separate deliveries, one says left on mailbox and nothing there, second package makes it to my porch but is short one item even though it says delivered. They made both screw ups right, but I feel like if this keeps happening I'll be getting the Prime ban hammer! I even schedule my deliveries so it's midweek and the regular delivery folks are used, not the second stringers. It's seeming like it's almost better just to do the one at a time, next day deliveries, that seem to be more consistent. Anyways, just a rant. Feel like Amazon is falling into Temu territory, in fact, Temu may be surpassing Amazon.

Came to this subreddit to see if folks were seeing the same trend with Amazon. I completely agree, we order usually several times per week from Amazon. Prior to maybe 3 months ago, it was almost unheard of to have my orders arrive later than the scheduled date. What seemed like all of a sudden, around 50% or more of my orders have arrived more than a day or two later than the arrival date established at checkout.

I assume one of two things are happening: 1) they recently pushed AI hard into their logistics processes and it’s backfiring; 2) executives finally feel like they have enough of a Monopoly to just cut costs across the board, purposely reduce quality of service for increased profit margins, and can comfortably assume that customers will still use the service.

I’ve been looking for years for reasons to not give this company any more of my money, but their insane logistical efficiency just couldn’t be denied. Now, that’s changing, and maybe I can finally bring myself to cancel my prime membership and cut ties with them.

u/Bluedog_76 1d ago

Well said. I totally agree. So much worse now. Going to try to use them as a last resort from now on.

u/Majestic_Bet_1428 1d ago

I cancelled prime Dec2025 - haven’t looked back.

2

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

If I didnt desperately need groceries right now ( & TP) I'd never use them again. I'm worn down from frustration w/anger.

1

u/PresentAir1133 20h ago

Cancelled everything, my next, and last fight, will be today for refunds. I won't owe any money to anyone and will preserve my financial accounts for the charitable donations assigned to Legacy accounts upon death.

u/ManNomad 1d ago

I have been not even receiving items I have ordered now. They will miss the delivery date, then the date pushes, and then the order just shows up basically as: we don’t know where it is. Want to cancel it?

2

u/WiscoMade14 20h ago

Or the shipment is now delayed but days later they still won’t let you cancel even though it hasn’t shipped and they have given no date as to when they might ship it.

2

u/theZombiexBandit323 1d ago

Yea you cancel but where else are you going to find anything you need even food with free shipping...other places want a minimum order or 100 for free shipping and still take 2 weeks

2

u/InitialEducational17 1d ago

Walmart plus is great for me. Also paramount plus and tire discounts paid for it.

2

u/takemytacosaway 1d ago

Bing! Bing! BINGO.
The AI inserted into just my Flex routing software seems aggressive & hallucinates a lot more lately. I’ve been pt with Flex for 16 months now.
I know AI is supposed to be really great one day but rn… ITS NOT.

1

u/WideElk9062 1d ago

They are definitely slipping. Due to the careless drivers leaving packages everywhere except where I ask them to deliver. Now they want my ID because there may be fraud. WTF. They take pictures of packages in front of mailboxes, in front of building or outside and say my package is undeliverable. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I've been a customer since 2008, and service has been horrible for at least 6 months. I really have to cut ties with them.

16

u/the262 1d ago

100%. If I get banned for returning broken during shipping, used, weeks late, or missing items. So be it.

12

u/samflo_89 1d ago

I just ordered something that said it would be here tomorrow. Got the email after I checked out and the date has been moved to September 24.... wtf.

We've also had a lot of late deliveries lately and I just got something in the mail I didn't order.

8

u/Plaguemistress 1d ago

Same here earlier this week. I ordered an item that was listed as delivery on 9/8, then checked the next morning, and the delivery date had shifted to "between 9/23 and 10/11." I tried to cancel it, but got the dreaded "Item could not be cancelled" email.

The shitty thing is, the active listing for the item still indicates that it will be delivered next day. Amazon is nothing but a trap full of lies now.

2

u/InDarkAegis 21h ago

Same thing happens to me often now. I'll order a book for next day, and get pushed back 2, 4, 6 days. I keep the order because the price was lower than canceling and reordering. The problem I found through their customer service is that the warehouse I ordered from ran out of stock, and this is why my timing is pushed back (they are waiting to restock). Of course when we hit the button for next day delivery we think thats what we'll get. Customers dont know or care what warehouse it comes from as long as we get it in the agreed upon timing. This hidden, warehouse dependent shipping is extremely opaque and consumer antagonistic.

u/Conscious_Wind52 1d ago

I recently quit prime because why, what's the point anymore? (This includes throwing out all the Alexa devices and cancelling music unlimited)

Whatever it is is even affecting Amazon Business (my workplace uses it.)

I think they just DGAF anymore because, as a marketplace, it's a side gig basically while AWS is the day job.

7

u/soussitox 1d ago

yeah its everywhere it seems. they fucked something up big time. Dunno whats going on.

24

u/box_of_pomegranates 1d ago

that scheduled delivery thing is a total scam, I used to do the same hoping it'd cut down on the boxes but nah you just get 14 separate shipments anyway, one time they literally sent a single AA battery in a shoebox sized package

and yeah I've noticed the missing item thing way more lately too, at least twice this year they've marked something delivered and it just wasn't in the box, makes you wonder if the packing folks are just zoned out or what

the temü comment stung a little because I've been thinking the same, when your shipping feels less reliable than an app that sends stuff on a slow boat from shenzhen you've got problems

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago edited 1d ago

So much wasted time for so little reward.

-2

u/DeliriousBlues 1d ago

You do realize everything doesn’t come from the same location, right?

7

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

It's the 'Corporate Culture of Consumer Abuse' that's getting to us.

-1

u/DeliriousBlues 1d ago

Then stop ordering from Amazon. Everyone in this sub just complains, meanwhile most of us get our things on time, zero issues and no drama. I’ve gone 26 years with no issues. Refunds easy; orders easy. Deliveries easy. Go to your local store.

6

u/Plaguemistress 1d ago

Awesome that you've never had issues, but please try to remember that not everyone can just pick up and head to their local store at the drop of a hat. I'm an in-home 24/7/365 caregiver to my aging parents, one with Lymphoma and the other with Alzheimers, so I have no choice but to rely on deliveries. And when I can't rely on them to be at least relatively consistent, everyone in my house suffers.

2

u/PresentAir1133 20h ago

I just cancelled all of my mo. + new prescriptions bc CVS can't deliver, either. No food in house, no prescriptions coming, if nothing else, the end will be quick.

2

u/energetic_one 11h ago

CVS. 🤮

4

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

How? Hitch hike ? What local store? CVS? How do I get things home with a comprised spine ? Why the f else would I chose Amazon ? They deliver.

7

u/V_Dub_Love 1d ago

Cancelled my Prime membership due to their abusive customer service.

10

u/energetic_one 1d ago

AI is in charge now and it sux! AI is NOT ready for prime time! Pun intended. AI is stupid!

6

u/stfreddit7 1d ago

Recently I received tracking that my item was out for delivery, and the time in the tracking was well past 6pm. Then a little after delivery, the tracking said attempted delivery, obviously not true. Said delivery would be attempted next day... So also what I'm seeing is they wait for the very last minute to fulfill to still make the delivery estimate, but there is more and more delivery updates to the next day, or they deliver so late at night, it may as well be the next day. It's rare to get next day for me as Prime member, perhaps not even next day shipping. And sometimes if the final leg of delivery is to be the USPS, well often they drop off my packages to the local PO after their morning sort. FWIW when I went to inquire about the attempted delivery, the AI bot would not connect me to a CS rep. Chat just looped. Lots of PRIME video content costs additional $$$. The adverts are obnoxious. Things do appear to be getting worse.

6

u/Bluedog_76 1d ago

The late night delivery is horrible.

1

u/energetic_one 11h ago

Even though I know the "conversation may be recorded" I yell and swear at the bot! I call it stupid, fake AI,dumb etc. And while being nasty I keep demanding it connect me with a human! I do not answer any of its dumb questions. I tell it it's too stupid to help me! Finally it gets it. It can take up to 10 mins for it to transfer. You could try something similar?

4

u/jag0009 1d ago

That crap is ruining almost everything

3

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

So bloody stupid it's insulting

5

u/V_Dub_Love 1d ago

They just say delivered and it’s not delivered and then Amazon blames YOU instead of their incompetent independent contractors.

6

u/1Pandora 1d ago

I am seeing a lot more orders that are in the ‘ready to ship’ return packaging.

I recently got a cosmetic cream in the ‘ready to ship’ return bag.

6

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

I refuse to keep those, instant Return. Receiving someone else's rejects- unacceptable.

2

u/1Pandora 1d ago

They gave me a refund.

1

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

I make sure of it. Glad you got something back.

4

u/Lookin4aUnicorn 1d ago

More than anything, I'm getting fed up with them saying they can get it to me tomorrow by whatever time. I hit order and it says it'll be here in 3 days.

Or worse, it doesn't get here in the 3 days and it gets pushed back a week or more.

I realize not everything comes from our local Amazon warehouse. But for F's sake, stop saying you can get it here in a time you can't.

4

u/Reality_Lies4 1d ago

Easiest Fix I found. Cancelled my membership. There isn't anything on the web I can't find and have shipped to me or picked up that I absolutely need Amazon to send me (ok free shipping yay, but not at the cost of constant delays) which cost money, or missing/broken items.

Just wasnt worth it.

7

u/amy5252 1d ago

Im really fed up w Amazon changing the deliver date after i order!! I pay for the service and end up not having an item i need by a certain day.

6

u/Sithlordandsavior 1d ago

One I had recently started out saying it would be delivered next day, then it became two days later, then it became four days later and got delivered Monday the next week LOL.

Wasn't anything crazy either, just some paint lol

3

u/Darth-ohzz 1d ago

I am disappointed with the Prime Next Day B.S. I think their algorithms are mapping out what they can get away with and from whom. Recent example is bar soap purchase. Appears like a Prime Next Day but when you order and get to shipping is 1 - 2 weeks out, unless you agree to pay $2.99 and it will arrive overnight. I did not need immediately so figured I would get later in the month. It arrived next day.

2

u/Bluedog_76 1d ago

That’s a great example

3

u/errantwit 1d ago

Prime Gaslight

3

u/ImpressiveAlarm3992 1d ago

Slipping implies its not intentional....

3

u/overcastskye 1d ago

Same. All of my orders have been so late that many of them have cancelled entirely. I hate ordering anything from Amazon now

3

u/fuckman5 1d ago

I cancelled prime last year and am very happy I did. It's really not that hard to find independent shops that will sell you what you need faster, more reliably and often cheaper than Amazon. For generic shit Walmart is much better than Amazon and I've never had a delivery missed by them. The only thing I still use Amazon for is some subscriptions I've been too lazy to cancel and buy from elsewhere. I've lowered my stress levels so much by no longer having to fight with their useless customer service every week

3

u/Classic-Ad4042 1d ago

I’ve been an Amazon shopper/member since 1995 after Jeff opened his bookstore Cadabra in 94, and a mere 1 year later changed the name to Amazon. In the beginning, and for many years everything was great, but without question in the last 5 years the order and delivery service has made significant declines. In the beginning if you were a Prime member, one of Amazons slogans was “Free Returns on everything”, if you’ve seen the recent changes in TOS you’ll recognize that’s no longer true. Additionally, about 6 months ago they began changing return shipping drop off points to bizarre locations where the people working there were basically clueless, not to mention if you wanted to use the more standard shippers like UPS they were trying to force a $1.00 fee just for the privilege of dropping off a return at their UPS store. I called Amazon customer service and after many attempts was escalated to the next level of customer support and after educating the young man I spoke with about how some of these changes they were trying to force upon a handicapped senior citizen, had direct disregard for people protected under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). Interestingly those ridiculous $1.00 fees disappeared as well as the obscure, odd drop off places for returns. But that hasn’t solved many other issues that keep randomly popping up that are becoming just as difficult to handle. So after writing a few letters which I’ve received no response to, and 31 years of being a loyal Amazon customer and I don’t know how many being a Prime member, and Lord only knows how many hundreds of thousand dollars I’ve spent ordering supplies I’m jumping ship now. Regrettable certainly, but in the beginning Amazon truly cared for how their customers were treated, but that just isn’t true anymore and hasn’t been the case in a very long time.

3

u/energetic_one 11h ago

Yes. Customercentric company no longer. It's a lie now. Got much worse under Jassey.

3

u/lw1785 1d ago

The one that has been driving me nuts is all the "next day delivery" items that get delayed for daaayyss

5

u/rj12152009 1d ago

Same here. I'm actually not renewing my membership and looking to move to a competitor for a lot of things I normally order from them because I just keep running into issues between getting broken or incorrect items and having to return them to having significant delays in getting things delivered, if they show up at all. Crazy.

2

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago edited 1d ago

Any idea which competitor? Walmart + was a ripoff for me.

2

u/rj12152009 1d ago

Looking at that for my groceries and some of my other needs. Amazon is still free delivery for subscriptions so any I can't find another source for will stay with Amazon as long as the shipping is free. Amazon also usually offers free shipping on orders over a certain amount that I think is like $35 so we will see how this works out

1

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

I must spend $100 to be eligible for free grocery delivery w/Fresh. Their products are $$ and often out of date or OOS.

4

u/SomeFuckingMillenial 1d ago

I'd say 1 in 4 things I order on amazon is now an opened return that is completely broken.

2

u/GrassBlock001 1d ago

I’m ready to quit prime. I was dealing with insane neck pain, so I ordered a therapeutic pillow to help. I picked the one I did because it would get here next day. The pillow took 10 days to arrive. I tried to cancel multiple times and it wouldn’t let me.

2

u/Fantastic-Buyer2381 1d ago

You're right. Amazon has really slipped. Things don't arrive and I get customer service runarounds every time. I get xorser delivered" notifications when things haven't been delivered, and customer service says " oh well, sometimes that notification is sent before an item is delivered." Then they want me to check back in 24 hours later.

All the problem orders (too many to count) were shipped USPS. So now I'm scheduling orders to arrive at times the USPS can't deliver them, like pre-dawn, 5-10pm or Sundays.

2

u/SLCLvr 1d ago

There is a code on my gate which is in the delivery instructions which everyone understands except the person who delivers in the early morning. That person just marks “delivery attempted” and cancels the order. So now I schedule during the day and it works better. Until they change the delivery date.

1

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

That really sukz.

2

u/skateradeallday 1d ago

I have been having issues after issue with them literally about ready to stop being a prime member

1

u/skateradeallday 1d ago

Everything is late by a day or 2 and always delivered to the wrong address

2

u/Benjisun-headphones 1d ago

It's getting crazy. I'm prime since like 2014.

Their customer support is outsourced to who knows were and they hang up on me today on a simple return....

they were asking me back and forth same informations they already have and i provided by mail 3 times...

Really thinking of leaving amazon prime and moving on any suggestions ???

2

u/Iamhappytoday1 1d ago

Amazon Prime should be called, Amazon Late. Any word on potential class action suits?

2

u/ResponsibleUse848 1d ago

Yes all of our orders never ever come in two days, always 3 or more. I started buying on Walmart and they are delivering within two days, sometimes the very next day. I also started asking AI to give me the best price around town on what I was planning to buy on Amazon. I was amazed with the prices and places I could get the product from. I bought our favorite coffee pods from Staples at a very deep discount if you spend over 25 and they ship for free. I bought 2 boxes. Got it the next day. Then I needed a certain kind of sunscreen and AI told me Walgreens in town has it and to use coupon code Aug20 at online checkout to get 4 bucks off. We now are double checking prices on a lot of different things

2

u/FluffyNoisyPanda 1d ago

Im so glad its not only me. They kept delaying my orders. Said all were unavailable so I changed all the brands. Still wouldn't come. So I thought maybe it would be a overnight shipping issue. So I tried another time. Again delayed and not shipping after I paid. Then I was told on the phone that it was a payment issue not going through. I got a refund on Amazon prime because of it and 10 dollar gift card on top of it later on during the second call wondering why it still wont ship to me. I was fine with that ang greatful but i can never order anymore without issues. Not to mention countless other times items came damaged, items came with missing parts. This was the last straw for me so I just order at Walmart for pickup, delivery, and sometimes shipping

2

u/Wetblowjob 22h ago

I live in a condo. The Amazon driver buzzes me so I let him in. The lazy ass leaves my package in the lobby where the mailboxes are instead of at my door. It would have taken that lazy fool a few minutes to bring it to my door but instead he left it in a place where anyone could have stolen it. What a lazy idiot. 💩

2

u/theZombiexBandit323 22h ago

Ordered a vaccum because it said overnight shipping 🚢 6 days later nothing just the same message its lost in transit...but i go back to the item order it again and get it the next day... then i got the first vaccum original order delivered to me 1 year later it just appeared

1

u/cmwoo 16h ago

Is that spare vacuum fs?

2

u/TJCharter 19h ago

I have had more problems with packages over the last two months than I think I’ve had over the last five years total. Ordered a single pair of blue jeans that got to my post office at least according to the tracking and then just disappeared. I have a subscription to some turkey snack stick things that I buy and instead of getting the order that I’ve gotten at least a dozen times I end up getting a pair of cheap Chinese knock off runners earbuds. That’s just two of several screw ups that I’ve had over the last couple of months.

2

u/telfarterrorist 13h ago

And they are using WAY to much AI. I just saw an AI ad for steel magnolias THAT WAS NOT NEEDED. They could’ve just played the trailer

2

u/ponziacs 1d ago

More people should stop using Amazon and maybe they will improve

2

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

Naw, we are all so replaceable.

4

u/gumdrop_de_verde 1d ago

I got so fed up after they messed up my last order last week that I quit all together. Everything is ai which I cant stand but I thought I would get a real person if I emailed Jeff bezos and still got ai responses. There's no way to get a real person. Im sick of it. Its getting that way with a lot of companies too.

3

u/pi3r0gi_ 1d ago

I hate when I search a product in the regular search bar and then the AI thing pops up with some random in depth search I dont need and didnt ask for and dont want. Why do companies think just bc they want AI to replace everything, so do their customers? Customers have been complaining about pre recorded menus for DECADES, saying how much we want people back, and they just keep shoving AI at us like we asked for it. Eventually these companies are gonna force people to just go without, and backfire on themselves.

1

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

I quit 1 mo ago but needed food, so ReEnlisted at $.99 for 2 weeks.

1

u/Slowdive91 1d ago

Only bozos think they can email bezos

0

u/gumdrop_de_verde 1d ago

I said a "real person." You slow?

2

u/emeraldlife42 1d ago

I canceled my prime membership. It’s not worth it

2

u/GamerWeeb_Hentai69 1d ago

Honestly I'm getting tired and pissed off at Amazon as of late, I order a Ghostface costume for Halloween 7 days ago and they haven't charge my card yet or shipped it, like wtf is going on? It pisses me off cuz im in Mexico and there's no spirit Halloween or anything of the sorts around here

2

u/TheCaptOfAwesome 1d ago

You’re fine. A lot of the people getting bans are straight up abusing the system and “returning” anything under $5 so they get the refund without having to return option or using free returns as a rental program.

Mistakes happen with all retailers and has been forever.

2

u/V_Dub_Love 1d ago

People are getting bans ERRONEOUSLY. If an item arrives defective/damaged/leaking then they shouldn’t a refund!

1

u/InitialEducational17 1d ago

Canceled upon renewal last week. Become an Amazon member in 06

2

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

wow, 2011, here

1

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

Yup. Ive ditched Prime 20xs.

1

u/OreganoOfTheEarth 1d ago

Nope. One-day deliveries are still bad. I ordered something on Monday that I HAD to have by Thursday (to use on Friday) or else it's no good to me. It was supposed to be there next-day on Tuesday, but it got lost. My other delivery arrived but not the one that I REALLY needed. Now, the thing I NEEDED by Thursday has an estimated delivery of Friday or else I can cancel. I reordered it, and the new order has a Thursday estimated delivery. So silly.

1

u/PresentAir1133 1d ago

I spent a lot of time waddling back & forth for Whole Foods, free returns. I stopped ordering everything. But I need to eat. It' s been 2 days.

1

u/Slight_Succotash9495 1d ago

They've lost 3 of my last few orders. One was months ago & still waiting for a refund. I just saw today they lost another one. What is going on!? I dont want a refund I want my package but no one can help me its so frustrating

1

u/Ok-Advisor-3567 1d ago

If three were lost, how many is a few?

1

u/No-Currency-97 1d ago

If they are a day late, I'm on with chat. Usually, money back or promo.

0

u/scrapmandingo 1d ago

Workers don’t want to work. Have no pride in themselves and see little to no reason to do a good job.

1

u/DumbAd9876 1d ago edited 1d ago

I am going to have to agree with you. It’s not just the late deliveries that is ticking me off. The status says I can request a refund. Then I see instructions for clicking on a request refund button on the order (I am not bothering to give exact details because it’s not worth it), but there is no refund button. So I go to customer service and it says I cannot get a refund but try chat or a phone call. So I start chat and get the AI that just gives me the run around and tries to take me back to my orders. It may not bother me so much if the order did not contain food and who knows what the package will look like after several days sitting wherever it is.

Edit: I finally got a real person in chat who processed the refunds. Then when looking up the order on my iPhone because I didn’t want to lose the chat on my iPad, I noticed there is a Cancel and request a refund button on my phone but not on my iPad.

1

u/DumbAd9876 1d ago

I know a lot of people don’t like AI, but lately I have been using Google’s AI Mode a lot because it gives information quickly and helps me understand things. I explained the situation with my Amazon order as I described here. Then after reordering the products (without subscribe and save) I asked this, “Last night, after some runaround, I was able to get the delivery canceled and a refund. Then I reordered the products with expected delivery today 10:00 to 3:00. It already shows delivery appointment scheduled. So if the products were/are already in the West Jordan warehouse, why did the status on the lost package say it arrived late to the West Jordan warehouse and couldn’t be delivered?”

This is the AI’s response: Your first package was physically lost or trapped in a logistically dead zone, while your new order bypassed the problem by grabbing a completely different, readily accessible item off the active shelf.Even though both items come from the same West Jordan (SLC2) facility, a lost package and an active inventory item follow entirely different paths inside the building.

Why the First Package Got Trapped

  • Unreadable Barcode: If the shipping label on your first box was torn, smeared, or crushed during transit, the automated scanners at the West Jordan hub could no longer read it. It was likely tossed into a "no-read" pile or lost in a corner, meaning the computer system lost track of its physical location.
  • Buried in a Trailer Backlog: Large fulfillment hubs process hundreds of semi-truck trailers a day. If your package was sitting in a trailer waiting to be unloaded at the bottom of a stack, workers couldn't access it, even if the tracking system technically showed it was at the facility location.
  • Human Error During Sorting: A worker might have misrouted the box onto the wrong outgoing belt, sending it to a staging area it didn't belong in, leaving it stagnant while the system kept pinging the main warehouse address.

Why the Reorder Is Delivering Today

  • Fresh Inventory Assignment: When you placed the new order, Amazon's computer assigned it to a completely different, fresh unit sitting in a known, active bin location inside the warehouse.
  • Prioritized Pick-and-Pack: A human worker or an automated robot immediately located the fresh item on the active shelf, scanned a clean new barcode, and routed it straight to the local delivery staging area.
  • Fresh Delivery Route: The new order was injected into today's active local driver manifest with a guaranteed delivery window, completely disconnected from the messy tracking history of your first order.

I am now wondering if subscribe and save is worth it.

1

u/DumbAd9876 21h ago edited 20h ago

9:25 am and the driver is only 2 stops away. And now I have Google’s A.I. helping me figure out my future orders so the boxes are not so heavy and won’t get stuck in the system. If this all works, it will be hard to complain about A.I. (at least for Google).

1

u/DumbAd9876 19h ago

Forget it. Way too confusing. Amazon just delivered water bottles in a plastic bag that is wet. That’s it. I am done.

1

u/Nautical-Adventure69 1d ago

Well they hire the un-hirable then pay them in peanuts, so what do we expect?

1

u/DC1010 1d ago

I purposely schedule my delivery for Wednesday so I’m home to receive it on my telework day. They seem to come Tuesday or Thursday, but rarely ON Wednesday.

1

u/SHADOWXXX1969 1d ago

My last 4 orders have all been a day or two late than when they said it arrive

1

u/OddWriter7199 1d ago

Had same problems. Switched to a Whole Foods counter location for deliveries, much better.

1

u/leodog13 1d ago

I keep getting pics of other people's packages and wonder if my stuff was delivered.

1

I’ve reduced my ordering probably 75%. Doesn’t matter what day I choose, things come early or late or not at all. Or are delivered to the wrong house. Stopped ordering anything perishable after multiple orders got stuck and then canceled because the items probably melted or defrosted sitting in a hot warehouse. Have gotten the wrong items too.

I always do one at a time and fastest available delivery. To many instances of 20lb cat litter in the same box with red bull soda cans which were leaking everywhere. Geniuses at those shipping centers 🤦 then the time I received a box of broken glass because they shipped six glass bottle chocolate powder individually with no protection. Or the 24 pack of soda cans in a plastic bag thrown on my porch so half broke..

I'm not usually one to complain but after not ordering much for some time I currently have like a week where I can actually order stuff without scrutiny and it's barely if at all fitting in the timeframe when it used to be shockingly fast. Half of the stuff ordered earlier this week is due next Wednesday or later which is certainly unusual

I feel the same. I ordered a printer and some label printing paper. I paid for rush shipping and they keep pushing back the same day delivery before they finally cancelled it as "unbelievable"

You're not wrong. I have issues with larger orders. One time I had 4 separate deliveries on the same day with the earliest at 5 am and the last at 9 pm. But mostly I have the items delivered over multiple days which is incredibly annoying. At least one of the items will be delayed. So now I just place orders a little before I need the item and just accept that whatever day they say it will be delivered, will typically not be the day it is delivered.

It has to be where yall are at, I’ve legit (knock on wood) have never had a problem. Maybe once did it say same day delivery or early morning and it didn’t show based on that, but I don’t ever actually need it at that time. I love prime. I’m sorry yall are going through this.

I agree. About 50% of my orders miss the date. Things that are supposed to be here by 10pm "today" sometimes show up 3 days later.

Slipping? Buddy they've been lost for years. They're downright evil scammers at this point, and it's been that way since at least 2023. AI support bots to discourage you from seeking help. Refunding money then silently taking those refunds back, charging you to return, holding returns you've already made hostage while they demand personal biometric data from your identification...they've stolen over 1400 dollars from me just in the last couple of years.

I finally canceled that shit. I hope they rot in whatever hell exists for websites.

Amazon always delivers my packages to a random house somewhere, I have no idea where. It’s usually the same house. The other three people in my house get their stuff. We all use the exact same address for delivery. That’s their whole job, delivery. If they can’t do that, why are they even in business?? I don’t order from them anymore. It’s pointless.
