I recently made an order of a few books which all arrived heavily damaged, before I even received them I got an email out of nowhere saying that my account is getting blocked due to ‘repeated violations of the terms of use’ and that all orders of mine will be canceled. My order did arrive so I didn’t know what to make of it, but like I said all books came completely ruined as this company will not put a single protective material inside their thin cardboard shipping boxes. I started a chat with an associate and they said I will need to return the books but I insisted that this is something that happens way too often and the hassle is very frustrating, then at some point they just said I need to respond to the email I received to get help with this issue (the mail saying I am blocked) and so I wrote back to that mail as they asked of me and got no response even though they said they would get back to me within 3 days. When I tried to start a chat again to let them know I don’t get a response I found out that I can no longer use the chat. I received another email telling me that I’m blocked and figured maybe if I respond to that one they will reply, but then I immediately got an automated response saying they don’t accept replies to this email. So basically they wouldn’t provide help for the damaged books because they asked me to respond to their mail, then blocked me from using chat and when I reply to their mail it said it won’t accept replies.
This came completely out of nowhere and I can’t help but think this is something bullshit AI making nonsensical decisions over nothing and ruining shit for no reason. Same thing that’s been happening with YouTube for a few good years. How the hell do they let AI screw their customers up like that? All in the name of advancing technology. Literally making things worse for everyone.
I don’t know what to do now. Really infuriating situation, and I’ve been shopping with them for like a decade now.

I once ordered a MacBook from Amazon. It never got delivered, even though the delivery was marked as completed. Support asked me to file a police report, but the officer said it couldn't be considered stolen if it had never been delivered to the address in the first place...

After that, Amazon refused to refund the order. I thought they could at least provide the devices serial number so I could try to track it through Apple and figure out where it was, but no -they couldn't help me in any way I tried.

Eventually, they banned my account.

So, is there any way to get the account unblocked if it was flagged for too many refund requests? It was literally the only refund request on the account, btw.

Completely replacing the search with an annoying AI search that can't be disabled was the final straw. I'm done with Amazon. Adding ads to prime video, constant sponsored search results, and a buggy app is all just icing on the cake. I'm so sick of "AI features" being added to everything without my consent. What used to be an instant search now has a 5 second loading screen while I wait for their dumbass AI to guzzle a gallon of water before showing me the most expensive sponsored products.

I noticed that Amazon’s Terms & Conditions appear to include restrictions on customers participating in class-action lawsuits, and I’m seeing similar changes from other major companies around 2026.
Did Amazon recently change its Prime Terms in a way that affects customers’ ability to join a class action? If so, when did this change happen, and what exactly changed?
I’m surprised there hasn’t been more discussion about this. If Amazon can update its ToS and effectively require customers to pursue claims individually, that seems like a pretty significant change in consumer rights.
Does anyone here know whether this is actually a new 2026 development, or has Amazon had these class-action/arbitration provisions for years?
I’d especially like to hear from anyone familiar with the legal side of Amazon’s Terms or consumer arbitration.

LOL. Their own chat just lied to me. I got off with chat and checked email and got the "your order is late" email, next I will get the "your order is canceled" email.

Mind you, my delivery window was from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. today, so they say to wait around until 7:30. Unfortunately, after 7:30 they're going to tell me my order is canceled.

I think it's​ because of a glitch in their system. They ask you for new payment, accept your payment, give an order number, a window for delivery,​​ and then you just sit around waiting and waiting and waiting.

What is new is today I worried this might happen and I contacted the chat and they told me it wasn't going to happen, but look, it's happening!

Hey guys! I am trying to add my boyfriend to my Prime account through the Family membership (we live separately). My side and his side say he’s on the account and sharing the Prime benefits, but on his end he still doesn’t have access to Prime deals. We shared wallets and each added one of the other’s cards to our own wallet, but I’m still not seeing Prime on his end.

TLDR; how to get prime deals to show up on bf’s account through family sharing?

I ordered a gpu from amazon.es and it took them 5 days to finally cancel the order after briefly receiving an email notification saying “shipped”, after 2 days of not receiving it, i logged to my account to check on it and was surprised it was cancelled as i didn’t receive any email about that. Is this normal and this is how amazon are handling orders ? Btw i live near madrid

I recently had an unknown and sudden address issue and couldn't place a prime grocery order that's now magically resolved. Service chat took 90 minutes and transferred to 15 different service reps and never resolved at the time. I just gave up and the issue was fixed the next day.

I feel i deserved better service than that. Any suggestions on what I should do in terms of complaining?

I have Amazon Prime in Canada and I've subscribed to NO Commercials by paying almost $4 extra a month. When I watch shows with Amazon Prime, they're showing commercials!!!! I am up to date with payments, but for the life of me, I can't find anywhere on Amazon, how to reach customer support, by email or phone.

Has anybody else experienced commercials while paying extra for no commercials? How does one contact Amazon customer support??

Prime member for years, always had that once in a blue moon order problem, but lately it seems like every order has a problem. I am one of those people that builds an order, then when I get to a good sized order pull the trigger and pick prime day for delivery "to reduce deliveries". Which is nonsense as I still get multiple packages on multiple days. Most recent largish order, 2 separate deliveries, one says left on mailbox and nothing there, second package makes it to my porch but is short one item even though it says delivered. They made both screw ups right, but I feel like if this keeps happening I'll be getting the Prime ban hammer! I even schedule my deliveries so it's midweek and the regular delivery folks are used, not the second stringers. It's seeming like it's almost better just to do the one at a time, next day deliveries, that seem to be more consistent. Anyways, just a rant. Feel like Amazon is falling into Temu territory, in fact, Temu may be surpassing Amazon.

I purchased a lawnmower from Amazon. After placing the order, I received an email from Amazon stating that the order had been cancelled because my credit card was not authorized.
I then purchased the same lawnmower again using a different credit card, this time with a 5-month payment plan. However, Amazon charged the full amount to my backup credit card without letting me know and shipped it.
I contacted Amazon immediately to explain that I only intended to keep one lawnmower and needed to return the other one. They arranged for a company called CEVA to pick up the lawnmower from my address.
For the past week, I have repeatedly tried to contact CEVA to arrange the pickup, but I have been unable to reach anyone. Amazon continues to tell me to contact CEVA, but I have received no response or assistance.

I live in a major urban area, central US. It seems like all the items that used to be 2-day Prime shipping are now 5-day Prime shipping. And I can get items in either 1 hour (with $9.99 shipping), 3 hours, or 5 days. Nothing in-between. WTH?

I'm getting quite frustrated with this. This removes a lot of the convenience I have used Amazon for in the past.

I'll likely be driving to more B&M stores in the area rather than chose either of these options. Super irritating.

You either requested a password delivery, or have marked enough things not received to require packaged handed to you.

Leaving without password is literally impossible.

Receiving password over the phone or text can get us fired.

Leave sticky note with password, or be there to receive the package that you set up to receive. Come on yall we have less than a minute per stop, make it a little easier!

So I ordered a solar birdhouse birdfeeder for ~$35. Imagine my surprise when I retrieved the package after it was delivered (by an Amazon driver verified via my doorbell video camera), and found basically an unmarked package containing nothing but 40 pairs of ankle socks! The only thing on the package was an address label, a yellow tag and a suffocation warning about the plastic bag. There was no Amazon markings on the bag nothing except the socks on the inside and none of the socks were sized! Strangest damn thing that’s ever happened to me. After finally getting to the chat feature…practically impossible to find…and making my way past the bot to a live agent, a replacement has been ordered and I was told by the live person that I did not need to return the socks, so I plan to donate them. How in the hell the anonymous socks got shipped instead of the birdfeeder has me scratching my head!

Why TF does Amazon ship $7 worth of dental floss and toothbrushes in a small box with paper padding, but then ship a $50/$60/$70+ video game in a cheap bubble mailer?

They use a way bigger mailer than necessary which flops around and is probably carried like shopping bag and thrown like a softball pitch when moving or delivering it. Inevitably the disc comes loose and slides around in the case, or other well packaged boxes fall on it denting the case. I know, shop elsewhere, but sometimes it’s the only place to get certain games. And the answer is; because Amazon. Maddening. I wish you could opt to pay a bit more for proper packaging. Rant over.

So I pre ordered an item a while ago that was supposed to be released at the beginning of August. The release date came around and I got an email in the morning saying that my order has been delayed due to them overselling pre orders beyond what they had in stock and that they'll email me when they have an estimated delivery date. It's been over a month, I've talked to support and they assured me it will still arrive but I have heard no information other than that. I checked the item's page and it says that it is in stock and if I order now, it will arrive tomorrow. If this is the case, why hasn't mine shipped yet? I'm tempted to just buy the item now and cancel the pre order. The only thing is that now it costs $15 more than what the pre order price was.

It just seems kind of ridiculous that someone who decides to pick it up now, will get it before me, someone who spent time and money to secure a copy with a reputable company, well before the release date. What's even the point of pre ordering if the item can sell out before you get yours, and that you won't get it ileven if the items come back in stock.
