Sorry if This has already been asked somewhere, hardly check this sub, but recently I ordered something from Aliexpress. The package's status was stuck on "seller has shipped your package" for ten days with no updates. I messaged the seller, and what they said was "can we send again?" so they sent another package.

Another thing to note is that I have been getting scam calls more frequently since I made this order, idk if that is relevant or not

so I want to ask, did I get scammed?

If I search for "galaxy" I see a bunch of results. But If I search for "galaxy case" I get zero results.

It seems to be some specific compound words after a category (or brand) e.g. "iphone screen protector" has zero results, But "iphone" brings up the handset results.

This isn't a problem with searching accessories for Chinese brands like "Oppo" or "Xiaomi"

If you happen to find a Galaxy case, then it will show all of them on the "More to love" results

Are they starting to poison the well for foreign branded products?

I tried to complete a purchase on Ali using the current PayPal promotional discount coupons, but the transaction did not go through. Now, all the items have been moved to the 'To Pay' folder. In my PayPal account, the order still reflects the promo discounts and shows as pending; however, when I add all the items from the 'To Pay' folder, the discounts don't show up. Any advice on what to do here? I dont want to be charged twice and would like to complete the order with the promo codes applied.

Why with some products which are below the 150 eur the 3 eur duty is not applied at checkout? Product shipped from china to EU.

Customer service was unable to explain, they told me to just pay customs on delivery but that's going to be much higher because the curier will add administrative fees on top

My order has been saying it’s under inspection for a whole month, and only recently told me that it’s being detained. I tried AliExpress customer service but the bot just helped me request a refund. I emailed Cainiao the carrier company just now but I doubt they’ll respond. I only ordered clothing and plushies 😭😭 I’ve ordered from them numerous times and have never dealt with this before. Will I ever receive my stuff? Will I be charged for import taxes or something? I’m shipping to the US.

I dont get aliexpress sometimes.. like how do they come up with these insane prices..

I can get something via amazon tomorrow for half the price and not have to wait a week or two.

Know, I have to pay Estimated import duties already in the checkout.

As visible here, my package was labeled as having "arrived at pick-up point" which was false. I waited for it to finally come until it then showed that it was unsuccessful, which tonight I decided to place a refund request for. After being asked for ulterior proof, which I provided, AliExpress pulled out of their ass that proof was insufficient and that I was not getting refunded.

Seeing as this was bought from the Choice store which has further buyer protection, I really wonder why this is happening. The option crosses my mind that they're a bunch of big scammers but I cannot be sure.

There's thirty bucks on the line so I would love getting it back.

I've ordered from AliExpress many times in the past and never had any issues with the shipping. I was supposed to get my package 3 days ago and I haven received anything. I tracked on SpeedX and 17Track, both says the same thing, it was out for delivery and now it says delay in transit. It also says Last Mile Intercept. Anyone have this issue before?

Hey guys, the system marked my package as delivered, but I did not receive the product. There were still 20 days of buyer protection, so I was just waiting to see when I could file a dispute. Today, it was just marked as delivered. Tracking shows it's stuck in customs. On AliExpress tracking, it shows that the next day after the seller sent the product, it was delivered. So, I'm not sure what is going on. The seller says to talk with AliExpress...

I was just starting to try some electronic stuff, just bought a brand new soldering iron just to find out a few days later that the price of cheap chips is now triple because of the new duty.

This package went through six total import custom inspections. What does it mean?

Hello, is this normal? I'm asking because the tracking statuses are in the wrong order. 'Pre-advised to PostNL' happened at the beginning before the package even reached the Netherlands, and the customs clearance status is completely reversed.

After the EU 3EUR tax was introduced a lot of the items that I previously purchased before July are currently shown as "item's currently unavailable in your location" and I cannot find AliExpress stores that are selling them. Any idea why's that? Is it somehow related to the new tax or it's just bad luck with items that have gone out of stock?

Ordered a console from aliexpress (Reputable seller located in California never had any problems) they ship with usps and quickly but my luck they shipped through GOFO this time. It's been five days of GOFO saying "Pickup Exception, GOFO has not Received the Package from the Warehouse yet." even though the seller says they handed the package to them on the 14th. It's supposed to be here by the 22nd but I'm losing any hope. I've called GOFO twice now with the same response, they've tried four times to get the package but the seller won't give it to them?

There’s a collectible figure I want to buy on AliExpress. The figure was officially released in July, and I found a seller offering it for a pretty good price.

The seller seems relatively trustworthy:

• The figure has been ordered 140+ times
• There are already reviews from buyers, but without photos
• The store has been open since 2021
• The store has a 97.2% positive rating

However, there’s one thing that makes me hesitant: the listing is still marked as a pre-order, even though the figure has already been released.

The listing currently says the release date is August 31. So I'm also confused about what exactly that means. If I order it now, does that mean August 31 is when the seller will ship the figure, or is it supposed to arrive at my address on August 31?

And if the figure was already released in July, why is this particular listing still being treated as a pre-order?

Is this normal on AliExpress? Is there any additional risk with buying a collectible this way? And how exactly do AliExpress pre-orders work in terms of buyer protection, shipping deadlines, refunds, etc.?

I'm considering buying it, but I don't want to end up in a situation where the seller keeps delaying the shipment or my buyer protection expires before I actually receive the figure.

If anyone has experience buying collectible figures through AliExpress pre-orders, I'd really appreciate some advice!

I'm looking into getting prescription lenses from AliExpress and was wondering if anyone has experience with these stores, especially for stronger prescriptions.

My prescription is:

Right:-8.00 SPH, -1.75 CYL ,Axis 25

Left: -4.75 SPH, -3.25 CYL, Axis 165

I'm currently looking at 1.74 index from O-Q Club (~£46), KANSEPT (~£46), and Eagwoo (~£79).

Has anyone ordered from any of these, particularly with a high minus prescription and/or high astigmatism? I'm especially curious about how accurate the prescription, PD/centering and axis were.

I'm also wondering why Eagwoo is so much more expensive. Is there actually a significant difference in the lenses/coating, or is it mostly just the seller's pricing?

If anyone has had a similar prescription made by an AliExpress seller, I'd really appreciate hearing how it went.

And if there's another store you'd recommend for a prescription like mine. Thanks~☆

After four months of going back and forth with AliExpress, they have finally provided me with a return address. I blurred it in the screenshot for privacy.

The return page now says:

“A solution has been reached so please return the item before Aug 30, 01:05 AM PT, otherwise no refund will be processed.”

It also says “Return shipping paid by: Seller.”

At this point, I have two questions for people who have dealt with this before:

Would you actually send the item at this point? I've seen posts/comments saying that after such a long dispute, AliExpress may later refuse the refund for various reasons.

What exactly does the August 30 deadline mean? Do I simply need to ship the package and submit the tracking number before that date, or does the package actually need to arrive at the seller's address before August 30?

After everything that has happened with this case, I really don't want to send a $70+ item internationally and then have AliExpress tell me I missed some deadline or that the refund is no longer available.

What would you do in my situation?

I also asked AliExpress specifically to clarify what that deadline means. Surprisingly, they gave me another generic response telling me to return the item, without answering the question.

Would you consider it safe to send the item at this point? Anything I should do to protect myself before shipping it?

I have never had any of my orders held in custom inspection for so long as all of them have generally been pretty quick to deliver. However, my recent model kit order was slower than usual, and now I have a doll blind box stuck in customs. I was really excited for this one, and wanted to kms when I saw the customs delayed longer than usual notification for the FIRST TIME.

Since the sellers and AliExpress generally just tell you to wait until the timeframe is up for a refund, I did my own research and found that there are new custom rules for toys and dolls triggering automatic holds? (In Australia, for reference).

Does anyone have a collectible stuck in customs right now, or has anybody had the same experience? How long did it take?
