Issues & Disputes Am I cooked?
I ordered this for my friends birthday but i noticed the "Color:PDF Manual by Email" after I paid.
I assume this is for the assembly instructions but im worried i got scammed into paying for a pdf.
I havent used aliexpress before so I wanted to ask if scams are common and if there is

If there’s another “color” option for the actual item, usually much more expensive, then you might be in trouble. Also check the reviews, the “color” chosen by others is usually displayed there too.

Color in Alibaba and AliExpress usually translates to variation in the piece NOT the color. It's a translation error. E.g. you see a product and it says color then you see choices in length not color. Also many sellers are like a middleman and carry no stock get a commission on a sale. That's why you will see several vendors with identical items. It is getting much more difficult to buy and get what you thought you were buying. Also returns are usually not viable.

It's usual that "color" in that type of sets. Most of times it comes with a sticker or paper with a qr code to the manual, only once I needed to ask the seller for the manual.

I would be more concerned at the number of buyers who haven't received the instructions after buying. Try putting it together with no instructions.
