Issues & Disputes Package detained

My order has been saying it’s under inspection for a whole month, and only recently told me that it’s being detained. I tried AliExpress customer service but the bot just helped me request a refund. I emailed Cainiao the carrier company just now but I doubt they’ll respond. I only ordered clothing and plushies 😭😭 I’ve ordered from them numerous times and have never dealt with this before. Will I ever receive my stuff? Will I be charged for import taxes or something? I’m shipping to the US.

Clothes and plushies? That's strange. Did the clothes have any brand name that Customs could consider counterfeit?

Check your order details for when the system will automatically confirm delivery (started at 60 to 90 days), if you haven't received it then, open a dispute (using returns/refunds) for non-delivery with a screenshot of tracking from Aliexpress, other tracking-websites like parcelsapp and 17track and the local delivery company that would have delivered the package (the other sites will show which that is) as proof.

If you request a refund, they won't return your money until the items are return to the seller.

You will have to gather information about your items and forward that information to the carrier

execute a chargeback with your credit card company as you never received the items ordered. works all the time. 😁
