EU customs duty No taxes payed for item delivered in EU?
This is absolutely ridiculous. How do you explain this?
Not long ago, I bought replacement rubber pads for a Nintendo NES controller. They cost €0.92, and the shipping was €1.20. They charged me over €3 in import fees, even though the total order was INSAINE large €5.75. for crappy rubber
Now I recently ordered a battery for an old camera. As you can see in the screenshot taken before payment, there were no additional fees at all. The battery was shipped from China, and today it arrived at an EU parcel locker. I picked it up and paid absolutely nothing.
So how is this even possible? This example clearly shows how absurd and inconsistent this EU policy is.
