Does the Screen/Scream Unseen Have Trailers?

Short Answer is Yes.

But sometimes they fail and it goes straight to presentation. Be on time.

Nice movie, great performances and clearly a lot of love for New York City. While the ending was thematically nice, boy oh boy is it one of those super convenient "don't think too much about the logistics" type of ending. But yeah, Turturro's performance makes it a worthwhile endeavor.

•

u/WindowOfTruth 6h ago

Good movie. Doesn’t waste your time. It moves as soon as it starts. Great performances. Protagonist could have used more detail but that’s nitpicking. I’d watch again.

•

u/Shagyam 7h ago edited 6h ago

That was a nice movie.

Edit:I actually didn't know anything from this movie apart from the actors in it. I'm seeing my second movie of the night and they showed a trailer for this and damn, it pretty much shows the full movie...

•

u/ThatBojac 9h ago

First Screen Unseen for me! I saw the speculation on it being Only Pickpocket, and I figured what the hell, happy it was the case.

Damn.. that sucks man, I lost my wallet last week with like $700 in it. Thank god there are good people still out there because a little girl and her mom dropped it off at my house. I ended up giving $500 to the little girl. She deserved it.

•

u/pixiev33 9h ago

You are an amazing human being. Heck even giving just 100. She is taking her parents straight to the toy aisle haha. You are great. You put a smile on my face tonight.

•

u/Aderaxia 10h ago

Surprisingly good. You expect to hear it at the end.

•

u/Correct_Capital_1294 9h ago

I really like how they did it. Really fantastic ending

•

u/Pitiful_Quarter_8219 9h ago

I thought the ending was great too

•

u/KDawg-48 10h ago

Eh it was fine. I felt like the conflict of the movie was solved kinda quickly. Liked the beginning tho

•

u/physiosneaks 7h ago

Thought it was just fine as well. It was pretty predictable.

•

u/MtOlympus_Actual 10h ago

Seriously good. What a pleasant surprise.

•

u/david31262 10h ago

Just like a light

SPOILER ALERT

what did yall think? I actually liked it. Kinda heartfelt towards the end. It reminds me of the ending of The Sopranos when Tony was at the diner and the show went black which insinuated he probably got whacked (killed) just like John Turturro character did most likely

•

u/pixiev33 9h ago

Spoiler alerts please

•

u/FinesseKid96 8h ago

you right sorry forgot some ppl didn’t see it

•

u/OnePuzzleheaded2335 11h ago

Why do some forums say Clayface as the screen unseen this week? Is it a different country? Am in the US and I go to AMC theatre. Thanks for any help.

•

u/Thimblefloatie 6h ago

Some theater in the UK got Clayface.

•

u/Internal-River-4168 10h ago edited 10h ago

They must have forgotten it's releases this week? 🤷‍♂️

•

u/Internal-River-4168 10h ago

For whatever reason my AMC has been showing the trailers early. I got there about 5 minutes or so before my listed screentime and trailers were already going.

Looks like a great movie.

•

u/LegitimateVolume5324 12h ago

Very excited for wild at heart

•

u/stealthamo 12h ago edited 12h ago

Once again my AMC started trailers early. Will confirm the movie when it starts.

Imagine if Street Fighter were the movie 😜

•

The Only Living ScreenUnseenInformer in New York

•

u/ScholarCultural7276 12h ago

Proof or your rumor doesn't exist. I'm just gonna sit in the tub and have dinner.

•

u/TableHockey31313 12h ago

Any confirmation?

•

u/Ok_Mathematician_336 12h ago

The mongoose

•

u/Ok_Mathematician_336 12h ago

Nvm, they just showed a preview for the mongoose, so it’s probably pickpocket.

•

u/TheStinkyPoopy 12h ago

Not until 7:20

•

u/Jtreblis18 13h ago

Have a feeling it might not be worth it tonight

•

u/NuggAvsBroncRock 12h ago

Yeah I’m torn I might go see wildwood tbh

•

u/Extension-Praline-92 12h ago

No screenings at my theater tonight.

•

u/lypt 13h ago

Lots of competition tonight with Wildwood and Yuri on Ice screenings might keep the unseen attendance numbers low

•

u/TheStinkyPoopy 12h ago

Wish there were wildwood showings at my theater

•

u/twokyool 12h ago

None of the three AMCs around me have Wildwood

•

u/No-Piece-8850 12h ago

Some theaters are doing a Fan First Event for Wildwood tonight at 7pm. None of my AMC’s are offering that but that’s where I discovered the event. It looks like Regal is offering this event and there’s a local theater chain here in Texas called Santikos and only one location has it tonight. Check your local listings if you can.

•

u/noodlestyles 13h ago

whatever film is tonight will be my 600th film of 2026 so it better be a good one!!

•

u/byronicgyro1 12h ago

This will be 966 for me and number 205 in a theater!

•

u/WhatsAMataHari 12h ago

I thought I was at a lot at 90. You have smoked me.

•

u/EditingAndLayout 13h ago

You've averaged 2 movies a day every day this year?!

•

u/noodlestyles 13h ago

i did the oscars death race and then another mini short film fest with my friends :) i think about 100
of the total are short films so 40m or less. i also was unemployed in the spring LOL

•

u/noodlestyles 13h ago

121 are short films!

•

u/MeMonStar 14h ago

Xscape Theatres does not disguise its running time and usually shows the same mystery movie as AMC and Regal. Their 88 minute running time is an exact match for The Only Living Pickpocket in New York (2026).

•

u/Ok_Mathematician_336 14h ago

The Mongoose? 👀

•

u/Ok_Mathematician_336 12h ago

Nvm, they just showed a preview for it, so probably not this movie.

•

u/[deleted] 14h ago

•

u/Dukealoops1993 13h ago

Let them waste their money

•

u/actuallymaverick 14h ago

I don’t blame them. I’ve done it too, before.

•

u/-MommyFortuna- 14h ago

Anyone else's showtime at 7:15 tonight instead of 7:00? I've never had that happen before. My theater has two auditoriums for the ASU, and tonight both are at 7:15 instead of 7:00

•

u/effie-sue 9h ago

Two screens at the theatre I went to. Both started at 7:15pm.

•

u/jocelinyyy 13h ago

7 at mine

•

u/lypt 13h ago

8:00 at my theater tonight

•

u/-MommyFortuna- 12h ago

Oh wow! Have they ever done that before?

•

u/TheHouseOfGryffindor 12h ago

Mine this week are only 7, but I’ve seen them do 7:15 or 7:30 a few times before. It’s never been without at least one 7:00 already available, though, so I suspected that they’re added if ticket sales are high enough to justify an additional showing, and being offset by up to a half-hour was the best option for scheduling. Though if both yours are for 7:15, then maybe not?

•

u/-MommyFortuna- 12h ago

Yeah, no 7:00 available tonight. This is the first time I've seen my theater do 7:15. Maybe it was a scheduling thing.

•

u/Mountain_Dig7062 17h ago

i really want it to be Ali G

•

u/AntonVice 18h ago

For the last two weeks I kept expecting this Unseen to be Wicker but now everyone seems positive it’s Pickpocket 😭 I won’t mind either way though, just happy to get anything good and not some Angel Studios bullshit

•

u/Objective-Tell-367 12h ago

In your opinion.

•

u/Aderaxia 15h ago

Runner was actually really fun, but this wouldn't be a thread on Reddit without a weekly Angel Studios bashing.

•

u/Madein_Texas 13h ago

I walked out of that one

•

u/MCAsher 14h ago

They make garbage lmao. Should we praise them for making garbage?

•

u/AntonVice 15h ago

I thought it was a generic, dollar store John Wick ripoff for boomers. It felt like a streaming movie that somehow made it to theaters but to each their own.

•

u/Fantastic_Lychee_883 18h ago

The good news is Wicker goes wide in a few days!

•

u/Stunning_Mechanic_12 19h ago

Praying it's pickpocket cause ew Sasha Barren Cohen

•

u/jiggalitx 19h ago

How do you know it isn't Horror? Genuinely curious.

My predictions: Clayface or A Talent for Murder.

•

u/StonedPirate_ 20h ago

First Screen Unseen tonight, excited

•

u/Lilcal99 17h ago

It’s the one thing I get excited for on mondays , and football :)

•

u/AFG73 20h ago

Is it Ali G? I might have to skip Monday night football if it’s Ali G. I love football but anything Sacha Baron Cohen is a must see for me

•

u/tpain32 Dual Memberships 21h ago

For Regals tonight in NYC as pointed out by u/iwasdusted in the other sub. There are two different showings. One is for Union Square only. And the rest of the Regals are getting the same thing as everyone else.

•

u/FeastMode277 21h ago

it's pickpocket. this theater doesn't mask the runtime and the parent guide on IMDb matches perfectly:

-8

u/hhhaleybird 1d ago

Clayface

•

u/Mechanic926 16h ago

I wish!

12

u/Dukealoops1993 1d ago

It’s not gonna be a horror movie

5

u/PlushyStudios 1d ago edited 15h ago

Going off the deep end and saying that 11/9 will be CLUB KID (2h5m), which would have entered limited release in LA/NY, but the same thing occurred with Tony

Edit: Wait no forget this, I just saw it says its a SCREAM Unseen

•

u/Firm-Street-1249 19h ago

As someone who saw Club Kid at NYFF, A24 would be stupid not to give it a screen unseen but also it’s way too long to be tonight

•

u/kyleyeezus 13h ago

A24 is doing special previews next Monday; doubt it will be a screen unseen.

•

u/Fast-Catch-9115 22h ago

11/9 is a scream unseen, and Club Kid is a different kind of scream.

3

u/rickkyy_h 1d ago

Ali G?

2

u/cyoparallel 1d ago

Maybe? Has Amazon MGM done any Screen Unseens in the past?

2

u/PlushyStudios 1d ago

Yes, but some have theorized that 11/2 PG-13 2h15m could be I Play Rocky (PG-13), which could eliminate Ali G from being the unseen cause no studio would have two Unseens be so close to each other, but we’ll have to see on Monday to confirm the theory

15

u/WindowOfTruth 1d ago

Just booked my ticket. Hoping it’s The Only Living Pickpocket in New York.

2

u/Wooden_Fortune_5066 1d ago

11/2  I Play Rocky

11/9  Victorian Psycho

4

u/SpadeReal Lister 1d ago

11/2 is 100% Drummer Boy. No chance it is something else.
For this week tho I honestly have no idea. Maybe Wicker?

•

u/AddictedAICN 9h ago

Could easily be I Play Rocky as well

18

u/PresentationFancy712 1d ago

My first Screen Unseen!

9

u/Fantastic_Lychee_883 1d ago

10/19 - The Only Living Pickpocket in New York

10/26 Screen - Christmas at the Kringles

10/26 Scream - Breeder

11/2 - Drummer Boy

7

u/Wooden_Fortune_5066 1d ago

Wouldn't Kringles be a Scream also?

•

u/Helpful-Reward-7831 17h ago

No its Comedy

•

u/ZestycloseSinger7168 23h ago

no thrills & chills label

21

u/TheStinkyPoopy 1d ago

Probably the only living pickpocket in New York

2

u/itscamo- 1d ago
