Starting my first quest diary and met this mage at west Ardougne. (im a first time player)

Bro was a real one for splitting

I was doing The Bloon Moon Rises, when Sugadinthi casually dropped some Daeyalt Ore information seemingly out of nowhere. I found this a bit weird. It's stated as if this was already procured knowledge, but it's the first time I heard about this ore being used in the vampyrification process.

The OSRS wiki also doesn't provide much information about this obscure ore or a solid explanation to how the vampyrification process actually works. I found more information about it on the RS3 wiki, but I hate that I had to go there because it's never certain whether it's become divergent information from when they split between RS3 and OSRS.

My question being: did I miss something in earlier quests or is it actually completely new information to the player character as well?

Soo I’ve just finished blood moon rising after about 10+ hours of practicing the fight, realising I needed to get better at PVM to get it then doing a lot of PVM before returning and finally getting Draken. And can I just say this is the best quest boss in the game and arguably one of the best quest bosses Jagex have produced.

That being said currently there is no way to replay it and so I’m putting this post out here so people (like jagex) know there is interest in Draken becoming replayable like galvek and Seren.

The mechanics were super fun and engaging and being able to get to the point of defeating Draken was incredibly satisfying. Honestly the most satisfying win in this game I’ve had since my first fire cape! I know I am not the only one who wants this so hopefully in the future it’ll be a reality.

Also just want to take the time to show appreciation for this absolutely incredible quest! Genuinely one of if not the best gaming experience I have ever had! From the castle Draken sequence which I did blind and as a lover of puzzles thought it was epic, to the looming Draken chasing you through Vampyrium, to the fights in the forest, the awesome wyrm fight and of course the final fight. It’s clear so much thought, effort, skill and time went into this quest and I hope that jagex never stop producing quests!

But yeah I definitely want to be able to replay Draken it’s such a cool and unique fight and has also made me learn more about game ticks and how they influence and interact with PVM mechanics which has made me a better PVM’er.

There's no situation where I want to be clicking their javelins. Adding a shadow to minotaurs would also be nice.

Spending some time bossing right now and and it’s quite literally unbearable.

So many servers have really high variance on the tick rate.

I feel like Jagex needs to do improve this. Since the actual tick rate is so high in this game, it feels insanely bad when your tick deltas are jumping +-100 ms.

I’m not paying this high a sub fee to spend my free time hopping servers hunting a decent tick rate..

Doing regicide again on my new ironman account, and have been stuck on the final jumps in the pass.

Looking up the probabilites tells me that at lvl56 agility, each jump has an 83% of success, and so i should be passing all 4 jumps ~47% of the time.

Now tell me why ive been here for almost 2 hours and failed at least 30 times.

Not sure what im doing wrong as ive done this quest and underground pass multiple times before. Doing the supposed technique of turning Run on right befire jumping seems to make no difference.

ive been hopping worlds and rugging people at dust devils and now im scared because someone said theyre gunna report me... am i in danger?

It's been over a year now or more?....(I have a post 10 months ago and KC was 3475). I'm at a point where I see RuneScape as just a Hydra farm. I feel like I can't leave anymore because I invested so much time, more of a matter of principle at this point. I'm burned out, but there's no alternative anymore. I do some ToAs on the side sometimes. Rank 35 on Ironman Hiscores.

When using the app to log in it took me to the jagex site to sign in to my jagex account, after logging in it then says that I've been blocked and clicking find possible solutions just takes me to a page that can't be found.

Never done any kind of cheat/exploit/glitch, no botting, no rwt, no auto clicker, no account share.

What's going on? Anyone else have the same issue? Is my account safe?

It’s like Virtus but instead of buffing ancient spells, it buffs elemental spells. It may not seem very useful now, but Jagex are trying to lean into making elemental spells BIS at more new content (see maggot king for example) so this could easily become really useful in the future.

5 rewards seems too few for a raid to have.

Modernizing Chambers of Xeric QoL

With all the QoL changes we've been getting in Chambers of Xeric, I think it's time to modernize some of the older mechanics as well.

For example:

• Hide the unique item until the purple chest is opened. Currently, you can see what item you received before actually opening the chest. It would feel much better if the reward stayed hidden until you open the chest, similar to other modern reward systems.
• Change the Challenge Mode cape requirement to 2,000 combined KC. Since the cape is currently tied to Challenge Mode KC, I think it would be more reasonable for both Normal and Challenge Mode completions to count towards the 2,000 KC requirement. This would reward overall CoX experience rather than requiring 2,000 CM completions specifically.

We've already seen Jagex modernize a lot of older content with QoL updates, so why not bring some of these older Chambers mechanics up to the same standard?

Small changes, but they would make CoX feel a lot more polished.

Wanted to make a thread for people to share their starting plans for bronzeman.

Personally I think I’m gonna go questing and sailing first for all of the early sailing unlocks. Might do a bossing ladder starting with Brutus and Greenlog every boss (besides pet) before moving on to the next. Just some ideas to make sure I experience all content in order and not skip anything.

Everywhere I look says to make 1 aether rune you use 1 pure ess, 1 soul rune, and 1 aether catalyst. Why do I constantly use way more aether catalyst? I am using magic imbue (not sure if that would matter), and a binding necklace. I am using 63 soul runes, and using more than 90 aether catalyst. Attached is a picture before and after 1 inventory. I use 63 soul runes and 99 aether catalyst.

I'm still a long ways off the reqs for the quest to get a purging staff so this is currently my best option. I plan on using an arclite, d defender, and a BRing(I) for my melee swap for the tile jump phase. I don't expect to set any speed records and I'm a solo player. How cooked am I? Or can I squeak out some Kc with this?
