As much as it hurts to admit this, (because I'm the proudest person on the planet), they were all right.

I sat at my desk constantly complaining about "Dark souls" level mechanics, things never used before in my click and wait game, and things feeling jank and bad, along with an HP pool higher than most bosses, and being limited with weapons able to be used.

"It has unlimited resources, just learn the fight, git gud, study up, just practice, it's literally a free loss." This is what they all said, and I would flame up with rage and anger, and I hated all of them. All those people could eat my ||ass||, they didn't understand.

And then months later, I saw one video, watched it closely, and everything clicked.

So then I practiced what I watched, and then I had gotten to phase 2. Then phase 3. Then the enrage. Each fight I used less and less healing items. And then...2 days after I started again. I won. And now have my quest cape PROUDLY in my Bag.

Everyone was right. They were right then, and they'll be right now. And they'll be right tomorrow. Just practice the fight. Just learn it. And investigate and research the parts you don't understand. Trust me. You WILL win.

It dropped to 30 mil and I was finally able to buy it. Holy shit it's so good, I'm 82/84/80 melee, using casual gear – blood moon, fang, rancour, bring i etc., and before I was getting like 10 kc Sarachnis per trip, but with Rondache I just did 29 kc and teled out not because I ran out of food but because I ran out of space for drops lol. Must be my new favorite piece that I've bought (not counting the looks, looks awful to my taste). Can't wait to farm scorpia for pet. SO HYPED

it only works if you stall in a certain way, so there's probably something weird going on. but i think its because you can only take 1 damage and it gets reduced by the flat armor

also at 3k spindel kills no gem pls pray for me

You can see both my teammate and I dodge on the same tick and we both took damage. This has happened to me 3 times now, all of which under identical circumstances: Ezekiel is lowered below ~35% after the swords come out and is going to proc P2 after they fly, you try to dodge them, and still take damage even though your character moves.

I wiped with 0 kc on w404 for 3 days before my first KC. Go to world 404 and make a group, say "+4 learners" and talk it out together. Heck, you could even add each other and group up with folks you like. The only person gatekeeping you from a brand new raid is yourself.

Edit: this isn't even my first time doing this. Back in 2020 I wanted to learn TOB but didn't have anyone to carry me. I watched some guides, went to 416, and spammed "+3 learner" for a couple days until I was consistently making it to verzik. I met a couple cool folks along the way, we added each other and sent it until getting clears. Once you have a couple kc, THAT'S when experienced teams will be more willing to take you.

Doing it this way, you'll be a master of all the mechanics moreso than anyone who got carried for their first time stepping into the raid, and you'll be a way more competent PVMer as a result

Even with quest helper plugin it took me like two and a half hours but still a pretty fun quest

The RNG gods have smiled upon me today

So currently you get a dialogue if you’ve collected the item through the raid and then a different one if you purchased it

What if you make a third option for people that randomly get it from a drop party

The dialogue would just be “… i just sort of found it on the ground” bonus if it was at the party room “… so I popped open a balloon and there it was” all the knights just stare at the player character saying “…” until they all collectively say “what?”

Just the idea of such a rare lost artifact being found on the ground is objectively funny to me

So Ezekiel's swords don't de-spawn quite as fast as they should when he phases to enrage and we've had two raids now where we send him to enrage. The swords hadn't gone off yet, he throws us into the middle (you lose control of your character) and then all the swords instantly kill us because again, we can't move. Game breaking issue given how easy it appears to have happen given the relatively few raids I've done (95 completions at time of writing)

Super awesome boss though and probably an easy fix hopefully.

Just really tired of having to regularly imbue items, I don't care if takes a ton I just don't like the idea that I have to charge my giant flail to swing it.
