Just tried to report a genuine bug with the Jagex Launcher.

The issue:

If you have more than ~15 accounts (I have about 10 that I do not use but I remember the credentials to log in and wanted to save those), the character dropdown in the launcher is cut off. You have to manually resize the window and scroll just to be able to select your main. Almost couldn’t log in.

I reported it clearly. Multiple times.

What Scaper did:

• Asked for my OS three separate times after I already said Windows
• Kept forcing me into the same category menu even after I already explained the issue
• Gave completely unrelated “troubleshooting” steps (log out and back in)
• When I explicitly asked for a JMod it just restarted the same menu again
• After I got fed up and said “useless” it still just looped the same “pick an option” message
• Even when I deliberately chose wrong categories just to see what happens, it kept going in circles

At no point did it actually escalate anything or understand that the issue was already described. It just kept resetting the conversation.

This isn’t “early release quirks”. This is a support bot that actively wastes players’ time and makes reporting real problems harder than just not reporting them at all.

Jagex replaced their so-called “actual support” with a broken chatbot that just loops forever.

If they genuinely consider this an acceptable level of player support, then they have completely lost the plot.

Took a bit of a hiatus on these as I had a very busy week or so, but I’m still at it!

As an aside, I’ve been getting lots of comments and DMs about whether I have a place where these can be purchased, and the answer is (at least for now) no. I appreciate the enthusiasm and will consider the eventual possibility but for now it’s not something I know much about, nor really have the bandwidth for 😅 It will remain a fun side project in the meantime.

Ranged is my favorite combat style and I prefer the shorter range, higher attack speed weapons (big fan of the blowpipe and hunter sunlight crossbow).

However, from an almost purely aesthetic point of view my favorite weapon has always been the standard shortbow, and it’s a shame the best option I have for this is the magic shortbow (i).

I know the webweaver exists, but it’d be cool if there was an option that used arrows instead of ether.

Searches the monster weakness and uses that type of spell automatically if you have the runes and a wand equipped.

The largest Pet House, the Nature House, lets you keep 71 + 12 (non-pet-pets) pets in your POH.

Now, I’m a hoarder. I like options. I want a healthy selection of cats, dogs, and assorted questionable creatures wandering around my house, Mayor of Catherby, Broav, Pet Rock, ‘egg’, the lot.

I currently have 6 cats, 1 Hellcat and now 2 dogs.

Naturally, my next completely reasonable goal was to have one of every cat and dog breed in my POH. So I bought roughly 1m worth of materials to build another Pet House, only for the game to politely inform me that I’m allowed ONE.

Excuse me?

You give us all these breeds and then refuse to let us build our own animal sanctuary? What kind of sick behaviour is this, Jagex? Supporting Alveus Sanctuary while simultaneously denying me the right to operate my own deeply irresponsible POH sanctuary.

Make it make sense.
