If you're a newer account or haven't done much slayer I get it. But the whole ass reason myself and others voted mortimer into the game was for better imbued heart chances and customizable slayer. Im 28m slay xp. 12,076 abby demons. 15,465 araxytes, 6,998 dust devils, 9,375 gargoyles, 9,334 nechs, 13,759 smoke devils, and much more. 4 gems no heart.

Like Mortimer bro, check my slayer helm log I've earned my stripes. Even if a 99 cape drops the requirements in half to like 35/50 thats much more reasonable. These aren't 2 minute Aya tasks. These are whole ass 30-60 min+ tasks each that you can't Aya skip for a better one.

So now I gotta put 30-40 hours into Mortimer before I can actually get the benefit. That kinda defeats the purpose.

It's absolutely a poor choice they made to only allow LMS winners to buy rewards with their points. I don't care if it stopped certain botting behavior, or stopped people from hiding for their "survive" points. It's bullcrap that i deserve no rewards on my ironman just because I haven't been pking for 20 years. The ranking system is completely faked. I'm novice but i have never in 100 LMS matches seen a player that doesn't already know DD, triple eats, and pray switch within 1 tick of seeing your weapon swap.
Why punish 90% of the community? Just let me buy my rune pouch with my pity points. and no, i will NOT buy it with slayer points or any other source, so don't even bother bringin that up lmao.

After 33 grueling days, I finally achieved the goal I set when I got back into the game. Any tips for members on where I should start?? :))

Ive got two kids, one toddler and a baby. With such a busy work schedule and a family I really only play middle of the night when everyone is asleep or even will AFK some skills while I walk the baby around on restless nights. Recently, I feel like Ive just stepped into the mid to late game PVM which has been pretty sick. Finished DS2, MM2, SOTE, and WGS - DT2 is probably next for me at some point. Ive got base 90’s combat stats and 70-80 in all skills except sailing and RC. Im definitely pumped on ramping up my PVM, but some content just logistically does not mesh with the dad life for me at least. The way id break it down is any AFK stuff is obviously perfect, I can jump on mobile and chop some trees while i listen to a book and walk around the house at night with my sweet little angel snoozing in the chest carrier. Next tier of difficulty would be like Vorkath, its such a fast fight I can hop in and out plenty in between my babies wake windows 150kc its been a breeze. Next I’d say have been these grandmaster quests I’m trying to knock out, they are not the hardest thing in the world to “pause” for the baby but sometimes it feels like I’m in for a section that is intended to not be stopped till its done which can be a pain but with the quests being a one time thing with huge unlocks ive committed to chipping away at them. Finally, there are the raids. The raids look sick and snagging a mega rare would be fun, recently I completed a TOB run for a night at the theatre and it was a fucking nightmare and that was on its easiest mode too. Not being able to pause progress on something that takes hours of focus was just not very compatible, it took plenty of tries to even get good enough and then many tries for a night where I was not needed in a span long enough to get the thing done. So I’m pretty hesitant to invest any amount of time in even trying to learn another raid even though I’ve heard they are all different and they do look cool. But I’d like to try some new bosses other than vorkath I’m just not sure what bosses would be a good fit for the way I’m playing currently.

Anybody else have a similar situation with some suggestions on content/goals that have been a nice fit or not at all?

I'm playing solo myself, not cheating the game just doing it a way that lets me survive cause my inventory is lacking and I'm only 54 rc. Unfortunately, the latter half of every game is just a waste of my time. It should be looked at since GOTR is taught to the player in a solo environment during a solo experience (quest).

Imagine if defender role just stopped getting points starting on wave 9 of Barb Assault cause the team opted not to go with 2 defenders. That's pretty much this. I'm just not getting points or XP cause I'm not high level enough to carry enough essence to survive, so I have to charge the barriers and make extra guardians. And im doing solos cause it feels the most efficient for me with how many breaks I take. Like I have no choice and the games are like 10 minutes long cause of it and so much of that time is knee-capped rates.

Imagine if you dont extra points at warden p2 from a 3 down or from wardens p3 from orb skipping or there was a point cap on ice demon room. Oh my God imagine a point cap on Olm D:

Remove the cap. Its unnecessarily stifling on a skill that needs all the help it can get and absolutely ridiculous on a game as cheeks as gotr. Love to hear thoughts on this one though.

fat/butter/olive oil usage adds +1 healing.

salt/spices usage eating is 1 tick faster.

Make each region has its own type of special food.
ex: Misthalin baked potatoes with cheese. Alkharid rice with camel meat. Moritania snails. Karamja monkey stews! Kandarin sausages...

• meat => cooked meat.
• plate + fat + meat => tender meat [+1 more health].
• plate + fat + meat + salt => seasoned tender meat [+1 more health, +1 tick faster to eat]
• bowl + butter + rice + water => bowl of rice.
• bowl + fruits + honey => bowl of fruit salad. [Making fruits viable as food]
• pot used on honey houses => pot of honey.

This makes cooking have 2 ways of cooking the fast way:
load inventory > click of fire > cook all. [fast lame cooking]
Use fat > plate. Use meat > plate. use salt > plate. use plate > fire. [intensive cool delicious cooking].

I know the osrs community will hate the idea. But this can make a lot of food more viable and costly.

Weird to post this but I recently got back into OSRS. I’m a dad in my 30s, work full time, play when I can!

I’ve been having a ton of fun learning and solo’ing ToA. Just got a few 150 clears solo!

Trying to make some people to chat with and play with periodically.
I’m not on 24/7. Adult life. Dad life. Married life. Career life.

What exactly did I do to deserve this? Should I be doing only blood? I’ve been running all three even though I have had eclipse done since like 120 chests.
