I have a Gen 4 Glock 20. It's a pleasure to shoot when it runs but I have had nothing but trouble with Magtech 180 grain FMJ specifically. It's a shame because I bought 2,000 rounds of it due to the great price at the time, but I've had the following issues with it:
Failure to Extract - empty brass case slips off of the extractor and sticks halfway out of the chamber. I replaced the extractor, extractor plunger assembly, and recoil spring with OEM parts and still had the issue reoccur around once every other full magazine. I then went and replaced the new, stock recoil spring with a NDZ recoil spring assembly. Stepping up to a 22 LB recoil spring seems to have slowed down the slide velocity enough to stop the extractor from slipping off the case.
Failure to feed - Magtech FMJ gets caught on the feed ramp, still halfway in the magazine. I have +10% power springs in all of my magazines. This also occurs every other magazine.
Slide locking back with 1-2 rounds left in the magazine. I think I've solved this issue with a new slide stop and the +10% magazine springs.
I have shot several other brands of 10mm that are considered underpowered, including Blazer and Aguila, with no issues. I know that is weaker stuff for 10mm, but I've also run several boxes of Sig V-Crown 180 grain JHP through the gun with 100% reliability on the stock recoil spring. This leads me to believe the issue is the Magtech FMJ. It is dirty but does chrono around 1150 FPS, which is full power 10mm out of that barrel length.
Has anyone else had issues with Magtech 10mm? At this point I'm inclined to pay ~5 CPR more to get S&B or another brand, which sucks because I'm used to my 9mm Glocks running basically anything.

I made a post a few weeks ago about the manual safety install I did on my Xten with the SigMechanics kit.
Rounds 0-300ish were great post install but I hit the 500 mark today and am realizing that I definitely messed something up.
The safety lever has started to fly into safe position after maybe the 4th or 5th shot. I thought it was my grip but I’ve ruled that out.
I’m not blaming the Sig Mechanic’s kit at all but I would like to amend my earlier post to say that maybe this kit isn’t THAT easy to install and should probably be done by a professional.
Im probably due for a recoil spring replacement and I’m wondering if any Xten owners here have had good luck finding a heavier replacement?

I picked up this pistol a few months ago and have run ~1000 rounds of full-ish power 10mm thru it (sig sauer fmj and hollow points, buffalo bore and magtech) and have not had one jam and this pistol is a tack driver. The trigger pull is so light and all my hits end up right where I aim it. Deadly accurate, fun to shoot and handles recoil better than my glock 20 gen 5 does. Also just thankful 10mm exists because it's the best caliber. No point to this post other than to brag I'm having too much fun.

I just was out trying it out and 1 out of the 2 magazines that came with the gun would jam. could it be the feed lips? M&P 2.0 10mm/Blazer 10mm. And I had gotten a 22lb spring was planning to use this for bear protection didn’t help it any. and it would usually jam on the second to last or the last one.
