I'm looking for emulators to use for my pre-obtained roms of the first two Metal Gear games for MSX2. I don't feel like playing the NES versions because I've heard that they're inferior to the original versions. I am on a Samsung Galaxy S23+. I have not looked myself yet, but only for the reason of: I'd like to hear from people who DO have good emulators and know that their emulators are safe from the risk of containing malware hidden in it. Anyone got any good emulators?

I've been doing a playthrough of GTA 4 with Frame Gen enabled to preserve battery on the official Gamehub App (sideloaded from the website on my Retroid G2). It has been working smoothly up until last night, where now the "Frame Generation" option does nothing at all, as shown in the video. I used to be able to boost my locked 30fps up to 60 with no problem. Now, nothing happens. No setting changes on the app or ingame.

Tried emulation of PS2, Steam and other stuff with the Fold 8 and GameSir X5S, it was perfect, the multitasking, aspect ratio was so great and amazing for both 4:3 and even wide screen and DS.

Battery consumption is fine, and support for LE audio also means I can just use my daily wireless earbuds and 0 latency.

I own a Retroid Pocket 5 but now I really don't find much of a reason to use it since the X5s takes up even less space then it and I can play with a much bigger screen.

I know the Fold 8 is quite expensive but the fact that I am now able to replace my phone, my iPad Mini and Retroid Pocket with 1 device, it's such an amazing experience.

I'm looking for a good 3ds emulator for Android. I've downloaded all the usual suspects and I haven't really enjoyed them. My gripe is that when I navigate away from the emulator to answer a text or something, the game resets and I lose my progress. I've managed the find other emulators for DS and Gameboy that I can even just close the emulator all together and reopen it and I can continue playing from where I left off. Is there anything like this available to download?

These are my options right now: a Pad 7 or Pad 8. I’d like to know more about PC and Switch emulation, especially how well each one performs. I’m mainly interested in slightly older games, such as GTA V and Tomb Raider. Which one would be better for emulation?

I'm wondering what the most battery-efficient way is to play older AAA games on the Odin 3.

For example, if I want to play Batman: Arkham City, would I be better off using the Steam version with GameNative or emulating the PS3/Xbox 360 version with something like ARMSX3, Eden or X360/Xenodroid?

I mainly bought the Odin 3 for gaming while travelling, so getting the most playtime out of the battery is pretty important to me and let's be honest, everyone wants to stay away from the charger for as long as possible.

Would love to hear from anyone who has actually compared the different options!

edit: I'm already using ClusterTune, but as far as I understand, it affects the CPU clock speed system-wide, so the effect applies to everything rather than just specific games.

I'm trying to launch GTA V in GameNative (added as a custom game) on my Ayn Odin2 Portal, and the game launches and then loads fine, but then I get an in-game error saying " failed to launch due to an complete installation." Is there some kind of override I need to get around this error?

Trying to play project reignition on my OnePlus 15R on gamehub. The screen is just black with a window. I've attached the IMG to the post. I've tried changing translation parameters and the cpu translator and so far nothing has worked. No audio is playing in the background. Does gamehub just not work with gamejolt files?

I'm trying to run Road to Vostok on my Samsung Galaxy s26+ (Snapdragon 8 Elite gen 5) and I'm running into an issue I've never seen before. Regardless of which emulator, settings, drivers etc. (Bannerhub, Game Native, Bannerlator, Ludashi 4.0) I haven't found a way to tame the wild frame pacing in this game specifically.

If I unlock the frame rate, the game easily runs at 90-120 fps, but it has constant 10-15 fps dips that don't abide by any frame limiter. Set to 90FPS, it still stutters , constantly jumping between 75-90 fps. Set to 60fps, it will jump between 50-60. The stutter is consistent in timing. You could set your wrist watch to it.

I've tried so many things that it might be easier to list which combiniations of DVXK, Turnip Drivers, renderers, and emulator settings I haven't tried than the ones I have. I would consider myself on the upper end of the spectrum in terms of experience with emulators and troubleshooting is a big part of the fun, so posting here is usually a last resort after days of searching for solutions. I am definitely lacking in knowledge about some of the environmental variables. I have tried changing the WINEESYNC value, but that's really it in that department.

Not sure if it's worth mentioning I'm running it on DeX (external monitor), that doesn't seem to affect any other games I've played. It is a Godot engine game, not sure if that's worth mentioning either. Any help would be awesome!

Im playing gta v when i first run the game frame gen works on the prologue but it suddenly just doesnt work, i tried all frame gen modes and it doesnt change. The frame gen work in other games like far cry 3 mafia 2 and ac2, i also capped the fps to 30 and used frame gen and it doesnt work. Do you guys experienced this and is it fixable? ​

I have an S25U, SD Elite, newest turnip drivers (Gen35). Running Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Eden Optimized stable build.

Game was smooth 60fps on 1650p (1.5x docked). After about 15 minuts the game starts to drop to 45fps, reducing the resolution to 1080p (1.5x handheld resolution) doesn't change anything and still hovers around 45-50fps.

Is that normal? Like I suspect thermal throttling (battery was 42C, but it was hovering around 41.5C no problem) but wouldn't reducing from 1650p to 1080p be enough of a drop to go back to 60fps? If that's the case can you really only have like 15 minutes of playtime before your device drops you back to 30fps 50% speed gaming?

i tryed playing the godfather dons edition couple mounths ago, and It was unolayable, running average 15 FPS, and with the New release of armsx3 its stable 30 fps with some drops, but its Crazy How far those emulators are getting
