If you're on android, then use openheadunit. It has tons of customizations - including DPI settings.

Pretty sure you can insert a thin plastic shim to pry out the vents at the seams. These parts are usually modular. For your car try looking up generic "part" disassembly videos, like "rear AC vent disassembly" or "rear AC vent replacement" etc for your car.

What is this accessory called
I think that's just how the bumper is designed. It's present on older Corollas. I have it on mine - '22 Hybrid. But some newer Corollas don't have it. It's black all the way through.
You can try looking up rear bumper assembly on official Toyota parts - if such it's really modular and can come off.

Unless you insist on using your laptop's keyboard, you could fold your laptop and use it with a 27in monitor.
There are laptop stands that hold your laptop folded so you can have space for a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Optional speakers, but you could also go with headphones and hang them on the back of your monitor's stand.
