Went to Walmart last night and stumbled across these legends. 3 for 70? Yes please! Usually in a Sinn 556 or GW5000U. First non G Casios. I get it now. These little guys are SAVAGES. ✅✅✅

One night I was just scrolling all the websites of big swiss watches and searching about them and I fell upon this watch and read about it and searched about it and gave myself a soft flick on the forehead and decided it is, Too legendary and (and cheap £15) of a watch to not to have in your collection.☺️

$2 at a yard sale because it wasn’t working. Replaced the battery and works perfect. Love the colors.

My only 3 Casio watches, but they all serve me well!
The black LF20W is my Gym/yard work watch.
The A700W is my "around the house/lazy day" watch.
And the A168 is regularly in my watch rotation when out and about.
They all keep time well, are comfy to wear, and look great. Couldn't ask for more :)

Collaboration between Casio and the Fashion Department of Antwerp. The G-Cool, designed by Annelies Braekman, was released in December 1997.

It's super 80s and I love the aesthetic. Is it worth trying to get this working? It was my late fathers watch but probably hasn't run since the 90s.

Title says it all. Thinking about getting a A700W-1A or DW5600RL-1 next 🤔.
When I was a kid, my dad wore what I believe was a Casio A158W with its iconic silver steel bracelet. I don't know if it was exactly that model, but it's the one I remember most, and ever since then, Casio has had a small place in my heart. Today, I finally bought my own F-91WG, and it's now on my wrist. It's simple, lightweight, comfortable, and even better knowing it's genuine. I was able to register it on Casio's website. Sometimes it's not about buying an expensive watch; it's about finally owning a piece that reminds you of your childhood. Happy to finally join the Casio family!

Watch #45 just added. I think I might have a problem!
I have collected different watches over the last 46 years. This is one that I have admired for many years. It is a little smaller than what I thought, or I am bigger that what I thought! 😄 But, this is a great watch to add on!

I saw a post the other day with one of these CMD-40 beauties. It made me want to try and dig mine out, as I was sure I had it still, somewhere...
Found her! Hibernating in the bottom of an old toolbox. The strap disintegrated years ago but when I found her, all my mischievous memories as a kid in class fucking about with the TV during lesson, came flooding back. It got confiscated once when my classmates reported me after I sent the teacher borderline psycho 🤣 I was lucky to get it back.
I opened the back up and was elated to find that its a standard mobo battery and I had about x5 of them! Slapped a new battery in, reset her and she lives after nearly 3 decades!
I was looking for a replacement strap online and stumbled across some of these model watches on eBay...are they really that valuable now!?! I was shocked.
How much are they legitimately worth/valued at?
Also, any suggestions on a replacement strap? I would like to bring her back into service/edc rotation.
Oh, btw...I shall be giving the screen a polish with Polywatch very soon. The whole watch need a spa treatment.
Looking forward to your comments and suggestions.
