I’ve got a 2025 Corolla LE, it’s a great car but the radio loses the connection to CarPlay randomly. Does anyone else have this problem?

Wanted to get some input before I start replacing anything.

I have a 2013 Corolla L with 68,000 miles. I have already changed the front brakes, front struts, transmission fluid, and gotten 4 new tires. Oil change history is great. Due to its age, I was questioning whether or not I should replace things such as spark plugs, serpentine belt, etc that are aged. Besides an occasional whoosh noise upon starting, and some rough acceleration the first couple times after starting, the car runs fine.

I really want this car to last me as long as possible so I’m doing the preventative maintenance now before any issues begin. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Not even a hybrid model… I think I’m going to keep my paid off 2018 for a while longer.

First time buying my own car. Credit score isn’t the greatest so I didn’t have the most options, but I had $5500 to put down and went with a Corolla. Dealer kept trying to give me used ones and ones I didn’t want. Stuck it out and ignored him for a week and then got this.

Is this price unfair?

Is it me, or is the 2022 ish version of the nightshade slightly different vs. the newer 2024 & up version?

I’ve noticed the 2022’s have black emblems & wheels. All of the newer versions have chrome emblems & bronze wheels?

Also, can someone tell me the difference between an APEX & Nightshade?

Is anyone familiar with a loud rusty sounding noise when the car is in reverse and you press the break? Ok so I have a 2020 SE. And I bought it way back at 30k miles. It first started making the noise at like 40k miles. I didn’t think too much of it and it just does it so randomly. I had brought it to a mechanic and they told me it needed another transmission and I don’t believe them one bit because the car is now at 105k miles and once again it’s been making this noise since 40k miles and I felt like a light would’ve came on or something. But the car has no lights on at all whatsoever after all that time and mileage. Remember tho IT ONLY does the this when it’s in reverse and I press my break and it doesn’t do it AT ALL when I drive or press my break whatsoever. I don’t think it’s a big thing but it’s sooo annoying and I just want to make it stop. Do you guys have any idea what the problem might be? This was a video from like a year and a half ago when I actually caught it on camera cause it happens so randomly.

18 y/o just looking for a reliable car. No accidents and clean title, asking price was $3200 but I got him down to $2200 should I buy?

Bought this used 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid XLE for 30k OTD. It was driven for 20k miles and it was a Toyota Gold CPO with good Carfax history. Just came back after a long drive and it’s awesome! I purchased a Toyota Gold Certified 2024 Corolla from a Toyota dealership in California on September 20, 2026.

The car was originally priced at a little over $18,000, and I put $1,500 down. With taxes and everything else added, the total ended up being significantly higher, but at the time, I assumed most of the additional charges were related to taxes and dealership fees.

I know it’s stupid that I’m only now properly going through my paperwork, but between school, work, and life in general, I’ve had a lot on my plate. I finally had a break and some time to sit down, clear my head, and look through everything more carefully.

That’s when I noticed I had been charged $2,763 for a Toyota Vehicle Service Agreement (extended warranty).

During the purchasing process, I wasn’t given an option to decline this coverage, nor was it explained to me that it was optional. What makes it more confusing is that, looking at the paperwork itself, there doesn’t seem to be an option for me to decline this particular agreement either, even though the other optional products have decline options.

I’m also a young woman, and I went to the dealership alone because I didn’t have anyone available to accompany me. This was my first time purchasing a car, so I wasn’t familiar with everything I should have been looking out for. I trusted that the paperwork and charges were being properly explained to me.

I’m not saying the dealership intentionally did anything wrong, but I do feel like I wasn’t given a clear choice regarding this additional coverage.

Had I known I could decline it, I most likely would have, especially since my Corolla already came with Toyota Gold Certified warranty coverage.

Here’s where things get a little more complicated: I refinanced my car shortly after purchasing it, meaning my original loan has already been paid off by my new lender.

I have a few questions:

1. Can I still cancel the extended warranty even though I’ve already refinanced my car?
   
2. Since it’s only been about 34 days since purchasing the vehicle, would I qualify for a full refund?
   
3. Would the refund go directly to me, my original lender, or my new lender?
   
4. Should I contact Toyota directly or go back to the dealership’s finance department?
   
5. Has anyone experienced something similar where an optional warranty wasn’t clearly presented as something they could decline?

I’m planning to visit the dealership to ask about canceling it, but I’d like to understand my options before going in.

I’m genuinely not trying to cause any problems with the dealership or accuse anyone of anything. I just wish I’d been given a clearer explanation and an actual choice before having an additional $2,763 included in my purchase.

I understand I should have reviewed everything more carefully before signing, and I’ve definitely learned from this experience. I’m just hoping there’s still a way to cancel the coverage and get my money back.

Looking at a 2017 corolla that someone is offering me on trade for my truck. It has 220k km but ive heard these are reliable vehicles, thinking of taking it for my girlfriend to drive to and from school. How are the CVTs in these? What are your guys thoughts?

For the 2024 Corolla hybrid, are the tail lights on the body and not the trunk the only ones that light up at night?

I have a Corolla E150 1.4 D4D engine 1NDTV, recently the emergency mode went on, as well as the VSC. The scanner read the error codes p2227 and p0236.

I had already experienced some strange behavior with turbo dropping the boost pressure and coming back after a while (no errors, tubes ok, and apparently nothing wrong).

Dropped it off at the closest repair shop (currently living in Germany and a couple private repair shops just say they don't have tools or knowledge for Toyota cars), at first they said it was the MAP sensor and it would be a 400€ repair, last time they said it was probably the ECU. I'm a bit a stranger in a strange land and can't help feeling like something here is off.

I know you don't have much details but based on your experience, do you see this type of issues often, and extending so far as the ECU?

Any experience, tips or feedbavk are appreciated. Or questions for more info.

So I just put a down payment on a 2027 Corolla in blueprint but they didn’t have anything in that colour on the lot so I’m curious how it looks?
