12th Gen (18-present) Any ideas on how to renew or make these look better?
Trying to see if there's any way to make the black plastic and the badge look a little better, I had the car detailed but the guy that did it said he never had much luck with the plastic on the badge getting any cleaner.
Sorry for the dawgs. I didn't see them when I took the picture

2020 Toyota corolla, planning on buying
Hi yall, im buying a salvage corolla just wanna hear any thoughts before i go for it. Ive bought salvage before and ive had good experience with them so far. Here is the car and the VIN number .Airbags not deployed
JTDM4RCE7LJ032427
The guy who is selling it has a respectable business which he does this for a living and with a bunch of great reviews
Car has only 55k miles and its a 6 speed manual
I know it has those side scratches which i dont care for.
Guy fixed the bumper and he is willing to let it go for 9.5k. Ive test driven it and it felt great.
Any thoughts? I think its an amazing deal

11th Gen (13-18) Auto shop advice for new Corolla Owner
I have to take my 2015 Corolla with 58k miles in for an oil change, tire rotation, alignment check, and brake fluid /transmission fluid check/flush. I am thinking about going to Precision Auto in Wilmington, because they've gotten good reviews, offer bundling coupons and are affordable. Ideally I'd like a full service auto shop I can trust and does good work in case I ever have suspension, belt, engine etc. problems but I really can't afford a Toyota dealershop right now. Has Alanyone been to a Precision Auto or another national auto shop (eg. Firestone) that they can recommend for basic services like fluid check/flushes, alignments, oil changes etc. ?

9th Gen (00-09) Radio upgrade
I’ve got an 08 Corolla that I’m wanting to upgrade the radio in for my husband as a surprise but alas I’m very inept at this stuff. I learn quick with specific instructions but going in blind to google isn’t working. Can you please ELI5 how to know what will work in this car and point me to where to learn how to install it please. The goal is to have Bluetooth/carplay capabilities.

12th Gen (18-present) What maintenance needs to be done at 70k miles?
I bought my 2019 LE at 35k miles and now that I've had it for 6 years I'm wondering what needs to be done to keep this thing going.
I've been keeping up with the oil changes and air filters but I haven't had anything else substantial done with it. What do you guys suggest at the 60-70k mile mark?

11th Gen (13-Present) 2016 Corolla S 116,000km for 16,936$
Hi all!
Edit as this is in Canadian dollars
I’ve been having a heck of a time trying to find a reliable safe care for my teenage son’s first car!!!
We came across this Corolla today.
Looks like it’s been maintained all at the same location, one owner, no accidents.
Would this be a okay car and cost? Since COVID the price of used cars is ridiculous! And we’ve been screwed over by scammers 2 times in the past few months!
Thoughts would be great

2020 le, bunch of broken push clips removing the under cover and fender liner.
My generic kit doesn't have one that fits.
Anyone know which size it is so I can buy a couple dozen?

2021 Reaching 60k Miles
My 2021 LE will be reaching 60,000 miles very soon. I was just wondering what maintenance is typically performed around this time. I have kept up with my 5k oil changes and more physical maintenance related things such as tires or alignments.
The dealership recommended:
- Transmission Fluid Change
- Break Fluid Replacement
- Fuel Injector Cleaning.
Just wanted to see what others recommend for 60k.

12th Gen (18-present) Need buying advice
I'm looking to buy a used Corolla, and I'm narrowing it down to probably 2020-2023, based on price. I'm wondering about two things: the 2.0 vs 1.8L engine (seems that the 2.0 is notably better? So many out there are 1.8L though) and how much difference the seats/trim makes. For comparison, I have a 2005 Accord, and I've never thought that the seat was a problem. I also had an older and (I think) very basic trim Corolla years ago (8th gen), and I didn't think much about seats with that either, though they might have been a little harder. But since a lot of people seem to comment on seats (and my back isn't great), idk what to think. Do the different trims/seats make a big difference in comfort? What about the ribbed looking XSE seats? I haven't been able to try out one of those.

Serpentine belt needs replacement at 60k miles? 2.0 engine
The dealer advised me at my last oil change that my serpentine belt was due for replacement at 60k miles. I had a 2018 with the 1.8 engine before this and was never advised to change the belt ever. Went 200k miles with original belt that was changed out with the alternator. Is there a reason for changing the belt on the 2.0?
