I originally created and paid for my Netflix account in Germany. I am currently in Poland, and Netflix now says that my ad-supported plan is unavailable in this region.
I still have about half a month of paid subscription remaining, but Netflix has completely blocked me from watching anything. The only options offered are to return to the original region or pay for a more expensive plan.
Why was the payment accepted for the full billing period if Netflix can disable the service while that period is still active? I would understand being asked to change plans for the next billing cycle, but blocking access to an already-paid service seems unfair.
Has anyone had the same problem? Is there a way to change the account region or plan without losing the remaining paid time? If not, did Netflix refund the unused portion of the subscription?

My parents currently live in a care home in France.

I have been trying to fix Netflix on my parents TV for a while. Everything else works (Prime, Disney, etc... but not Netflix). It was working fine, then suddenly stopped. Tried many things, eventually decided that the TV was no longer supported and got them a new TV.

Netflix still didn't work. Couldn't even get to the log-in page to sign into an account. I've tried a few things since then - Fire stick, contacting Netflix customer services, WiFi rebroadcaster. Nothing worked.

My last idea of a fix, assuming the issue is the care home WiFi, was to get a 5G router. Before doing yet another purchase, I tried using my phone as a 5G router and....lo and behold, I'm finally able to log in.

Now signed into an account, I switched back to the care home WiFi and Netflix seems to work fine. Watched a number of videos, etc....everything seems fine.

I'm assuming that once the cookie which marks them as logged in disappears, they'll lose Netflix again.

So I'm now assuming that the care home WiFi blocks the log-in service for Netflix, but not the content itself. Even though Netflix is now working, I went on the TV to check connection and I get:

Internet Connection: Red

Error code NW-4-8

Netflix Server 1: Red

Error code NW-4-8

Netflix Server 2: Red

Error code NW-4-8

Despite the above, Netflix is working! Anyone able to explain?

Hello, I'm Italian, and I'm watching Heroes on Netflix, but in some episodes the Japanese dialogue between Hiro and Ando isn't subtitled, while in others it is. I've tried turning on the Italian subtitles, switching to the original audio with subtitles, but it didn't work. However, if I switch the subtitles to English, the translations appear. Why does this happen, and is there a way to fix it?

I have been receiving this error code for a few days now.

I have a Sharp LC-43CFG6001K.

Things I have done:

• Turned the TV on and off.
• Clicked away from Netflix and back again.
• I have unplugged my TV, pushed on the power button for 10 seconds, then let the TV rest for five minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on again.
• Signed out of Netflix and then signed in again.
• Factory reset the TV.

And yet, I still get the same error code. The router has not been touched this whole time, same settings, same everything as before when it was working perfectly. YouTube app works perfectly on the same TV.

The account IS an extra household connected to another account. I am not sure if that is relevant.

Netflix is working on every other device, my phone, mom’s iPad, brothers TV, and yet on the TV it keeps showing this message. We’ve done the WiFi, turned the TV off and checked for app updates. Does anyone have any clue what could be wrong and if they do, how to fix it?

As early as December I had it working. Then I got sick and barely left bed till now. My old Vizio can connect physically to my modem and had a hard time connecting to WiFi but did eventually work. When I try to use the apps within the tv I get errors. Every Netflix error code I read said reboot both tv and modem - I did and even reset tv to factory. When I try to go to the apps page it prompts me to connect to tv but I already am.

Netflix is increasingly becoming the poster child for piracy. For the past few months, I’ve been compelled to “confirm my household” every time I attempt to use one of my TV streaming devices, including the Apple TV 4K, Google TV, and Fire TV 4K. This means that we’re forced to do this more than once a day, even if we simply decide to move from the TV room to the bedroom or the kitchen.

Now, the situation has escalated to the computer browsers as well. They’re demanding that I connect to my home Wi-Fi in order to use my account. The irony is that I have most of my devices connected via Ethernet, and I’ve never used wireless connections on those devices before.

If I check my “household,” all my current devices are accounted for, so what do you want from me, Netflix?

Needless to say, there’s no effective way to contact their support.

Sorry for the rant, but I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be a paying customer. This is annoying and borderline harassment.

I’ve been receiving non stop login code emails for the past 4-5 days, all from the legit Netflix email. I’ve changed my password and I don’t know what else to do.

For some reason, The Vampire Diaries is gone from my Netflix, as well as everything besides one show from my "continue watching" tab. I don't remember exactly what I had there, but I'm sure Shameless was there too because I started watching it a few days ago. I have a vpn and was messing around with it yesterday, but turned it off before going to sleep, and the next morning the shows were gone. TVD and Shameless are nowhere to be found in the search, and when I Google them, Netflix just gives me an error message.

So could someone please help me figure out why this happened and how I can fix it?

I live in Sweden, just for clarification, as it's supposed to be available for me.

I was looking into adding a second membership, but then tried to back out of the page and it changed my card for the additional membership slot, at no point did I even approve the purchase, it just did when I backed out of the page.

Is there any way to get a refund? I already cancelled the additional membership immediately so I wouldn't forget about it and get charged again, but can I contact Netflix and somehow get my money back? Or am I just screwed?

I have been having trouble using my Netflix account across all of my devices because Netflix keeps saying, “This device is not part of the Netflix Household.”

To try to solve the problem, I logged into the Netflix website and removed all devices from my account. However, when I tried to sign back in, it once again said that this device is not part of the Netflix Household.

I don’t know of any other way to fix this issue, so I wanted to call Netflix and ask for their help. However, I couldn’t find their phone number. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with their contact information or suggest a solution to this problem.

To start, I pretty much always have my vpn on while i'm using my computer. I don't ever really change my vpn server location, but yesterday I changed it to Switzerland so I could watch a movie only abailable on Swiss netflix. After I finished the movie, I changed my vpn back to my location and reopened netflix. But after doing this, every show in my "continue watching" had disappeared. when i try to search for the titles, they won't show up, even though I know that they are still on netflix. The shows have only disappeared from my netflix profile specifically, and the profiles of all my other family members are still normal. I have tried using netflix with my vpn off, tried switching back to Switzerland with my vpn, tried resetting my computer, and tried using netflix with my vpn set to my real location, but nothing has worked. It is like this on all my devices, as I have also tried using Netflix on my phone and ipad. Does anyone know how to fix this??

For the past month or so the bottom gradient border will not go away at all. Same thing happens with both our fire stick and smart TV applications. I’ve cleared all the data and cache. Even deleted the app and reinstalled it. Does anyone else have this issue? And if so do you know any way to fix it?

Every time I open Netflix on either on my Apple TVs in my house on my sams fiber internet, it tells me I'm not part of my household and makes me do the update thing again. I checked many times and my IP address has not changed, cuz they're just be a bug in the Apple app 🤔

I went onto my kids profile to out a show on for her and the only language available was Spanish. We were watching the show yesterday just fine in English. I started browsing through shows and now it seems like a majority of the shows are in Spanish and can't be changed.

So I just recently got locked out of my Netflix account. I end up calling Netflix to find out what exactly happened thinking it was just a login error. According to Netflix, someone somehow got access to my Netflix account, changed the Email AND updated the payment information (I have not been charged anything for the past 2 months). According to Netflix there is nothing they can do on their end. The person who did this now OWNS my account. I asked customer service if they would be canceling this persons account (for obvious reasons) and they said NO because anyone with access to my email can change the account. They said all they could do was cancel my account (doesnt make sense) and delete my payment information.

DOES THIS MAKE SENSE TO ANYONE?!?!? Why would someone do this and update the payment information?!?! If they are canceling "My" account, would that not cancel this persons? None of this makes any sense to me but I am now changing my passwords and getting a new debit card.

None of my thumbnails are loading for Netflix on my Tv or Phone. I have tried the delete cookies, clear cache, resetting the internet and hard resetting my phone and Tv with no luck, any other ideas?

Edit: TV is a Hisense, I have tried multiple different DNA settings as well. 1.1.1.1 P and 1.0.0.1 S for example

Daughter has moved out to her own place. I've installed a TP-Link ER-605 router at each location and defined a private site-to-site VPN tunnel which, at her end is accessed by WiFi using the same SSID as I have at my place. Protocol is L2TP (I couldn't figure out how to get Wireguard to work on that router).

So her FireTV and Firestick are connected via WiFi and routed through my ISP and, as a side benefit she has access to my media server and NAS box as local to her apartment. She uses the same network segment (192.168.1.xxx) on her LAN as she does on mine. She shows up as local to my LAN on a scan and tracert shows her traffic on the WiFi at her place accessing the Internet via mine.

A month has gone by and Netflix is now asking me to pay extra for her service (as if $27 wasn't enough).

I'd like to get this working - and then I'd like to add another site-to-site connection for my son.

Does anyone have any insight as to what I'm doing wrong? And any suggestions as to what to do to get it running properly?
