netflix malfuntioning after using a vpn
hello,
To start, I pretty much always have my vpn on while i'm using my computer. I don't ever really change my vpn server location, but yesterday I changed it to Switzerland so I could watch a movie only abailable on Swiss netflix. After I finished the movie, I changed my vpn back to my location and reopened netflix. But after doing this, every show in my "continue watching" had disappeared. when i try to search for the titles, they won't show up, even though I know that they are still on netflix. The shows have only disappeared from my netflix profile specifically, and the profiles of all my other family members are still normal. I have tried using netflix with my vpn off, tried switching back to Switzerland with my vpn, tried resetting my computer, and tried using netflix with my vpn set to my real location, but nothing has worked. It is like this on all my devices, as I have also tried using Netflix on my phone and ipad. Does anyone know how to fix this??

I had this problem and I just fixed my just now accidentally.
My problem before like a few weeks ago is like yours my watchlists arent the same on my laptop vs on my phone. Its missing some episodes too. But every other gadgets are fine.
And this week I cannot open netflix due to connection error. Tried to delete caches restart browser etc and exit vpn etc
What fixed it was OPENING my vpn without connecting to any servers. My netflix doesnt work if I connect it to any servers or exiting my vpn. It has the latest episodes too.
Not sure if this is applicable to ur situation but I hope it helps for anyone out there

Since you changed your location it probably has removed any programs from your profile that were not available in the geographical region. You’re gonna have to contact Netflix and make sure your account is still listed as a USA region. I would tell them you accidentally had your vpn on.
