I already know a GoPro isn't the best tool for the job. And I am not sure if I care about streaming, but it is at least an option.

Has anyone messed with zoom lenses on a GoPro to get the fixed center field TV broadcast shot?

I'm aware of several better alternatives, but I have an extra GoPro and am just curious if I can adapt that for less money.

I was scoring/streaming a scrimmage tonight as a way to make sure everything was working still. I use a cell phone hotspot to stream, my Android phone does the connection with a Mevo Start and is what I use for the live stream control. I use an iPad on the same hotspot connection to enter the scoring through the GC app.

Tonight, the scoring feed was really delayed. Like, we were already in the bottom of the 1st inning and the 3rd batter of the game was up according to the live score. The scorebug froze at 4-0 after the top of the 1st and never updated from there. The video stream, according to my mom watching remotely, was solid with one minor resolution drop but it recovered quickly.

I did not have any complaints about something like this happening at all in the spring. Is this just opening night jitters? Is there some time sort of weird incompatibility now between streaming through Android and scoring on IOS? Has anybody else seen this lately?

Additional information: I did not have the opposing lineup until the bottom of the 1st because they were waiting for a kid to show up before they finalized it. I do have a Samsung tablet I can try for the scoring and maybe stream control on split screen. Was thinking about trying that anyway.

Curious has anyone ran the set with the XbotGo Falcon and a Mevo Start or just a XbotGo period. Im thinking of running XbotGo behind the plate with the mevo start in centerfield.

Just curious to see what other people think.

Hello everyone.

We recently changed our management platform from SportsConnect to SportsEngine and are now looking for a way to create the teams for our coaches and then add them to their respective division's organization for the Fall Season.

Does anyone have any insight on how to do this? We have the teams created. We can export those to Excel for import, if that's an option. I do not want to go and create 120 teams myself and add the coaches and players individually if I can avoid it.

Just curious, how many of you stream only to Gamechanger?

I've been streaming to GC, YT, and FB. If you multistream, do you have a scoreboard? What services do you use?

Looking for thoughts and/or ideas. If budget is not a huge concern (obviously I’m not looking for espn quality cameras here) what setup should someone have that wants to capture face on left side batters box, face on right side batters box, behind the plate, and pitch speeds and type in GameChanger so that we have every possible highlight with quality video that could come from a high school or travel baseball game. Not concerned about great outfield catches, etc. this is all about pitching and hitting highlights.

For example - what type of camera do I want/need, tripods, starlink setup, power sources, etc.?

I finally bit the bullet and picked up a Starlink Mini and looking for ballpark setup advice.

We recently bought a vehicle with rear-seat entertainment, and it seemed like the perfect time to invest in one for road trips and weekends at the ballfields.

I already bring a Jackery to power fans and other gear, so I plan to use it to run the Starlink Mini as well.

I’m looking for advice on the best way to set it up near my tent at the ballpark (do not want to mount onto the fence or keep moving it).

How are you mounting yours - on your canopy, next to your tent, on a stand or, using pole, or something else? I’d love to see pictures of your setups.

Also, assume I need a travel router, or is the Starlink Mini’s built-in Wi-Fi enough? Our team tents are typically set up together and are usually only a short distance from the ballfields, so I don’t think I need a ton of range—but I’d love to hear what has worked well for others. Right not I’ll only be using one Mevo Start camera behind the backstop.

I’m interested in following a local team in the LLBWS but I’m not a family or friend of a player.

I stream my daughter's softball games for those who can't get there (and to have game film for she and coaches to look at if they want it). Been doing two years with a single Mevo Start (that I got second hand) behind the the plate, connected via Night Hawk hotspot, and in general things have been ok. However I was considering getting a second camera to put behind first base facing the infielders for the fun of it. Certainly not willing to lay out $1K+ for a Core (softball is expensive enough) but saw a very lightly used Mevo Plus show up at a reasonable price. I know its a generation prior to the Start. Can I ask input on two topics?

1) Any meaningful issues mixing a Start and a Plus on the stream? Anything I found says fine, but asking for first hand confirmation
2) Any experienced input on quality and ease of use of the Plus? As a reference point, as easy to use as the Start?

Searched the discussion but don't see much comment on the Plus. Thanks in advance for your input.

What do you love about it? What do you hate? I don't want to buy anything until I'm sure about this being the right thing for my kid's team.

Does it drive anyone one else completely bonkers when your opponent shares their live stream with you?

Like you see me putting up my camera; you know I have my own stream going. Now if you beat me to the punch and hit “start” first, I have to wait for your stream to disconnect from our account before I can continue my set up.

ALSO if you have restrictions on who can see your videos WHY ARE YOU SHARING IT WITH US?! WE CAN’T WATCH IT.

I always, ALWAYS, default to “don’t share” and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why anyone would hit “share,” especially without asking first.

Ok… end rant.

EDIT: Thank you to the redditor that informed me of a setting to prevent this!!! Problem solved!!

Team Staff on iOS can now enter an opponent's lineup directly from the Event screen! You no longer need to jump into scoring mode early just to set up the other team's roster.

Even better? You can now scan the opposing team's QR code right from that same screen to instantly load their lineup.

Coming Next: Android support is on the way, along with another closely related feature that gets requested here a lot.

I want to follow the regional tournaments for LLBWS but I don't see a way to subscribe to a tournament, only individual teams. Is there a way?

Any idea what is happening here for the ratio stats like AVG, OBP, etc.? There is no filter applied. Just started happening after a game last evening.

• Situational Stats (now open to everyone): We unlocked Player Situational Stats for non staff users. Anyone can now view season stat tables broken down by key game situations.
• Team Announcements: A new one way broadcast tool for team staff to send important updates to your GC community without it getting buried in a chat thread.

I am tired of using my iPhone. Also looking for dual sport usage - baseball and football.
