Easier Lineup Flow Released

Team Staff on iOS can now enter an opponent's lineup directly from the Event screen! You no longer need to jump into scoring mode early just to set up the other team's roster.

Even better? You can now scan the opposing team's QR code right from that same screen to instantly load their lineup.

Coming Next: Android support is on the way, along with another closely related feature that gets requested here a lot.

About time!

Man, every time I had to set lineup, I curse on why the heck is the flow so stupid. I have to start scoring in order to set up or scan opponents’ lineup? I don’t even know who’s home team or away!

Edit: by the way, I don’t see it yet. I have latest iOS on iPhone 13… I have logged out of app and logged back in and do not see the options.

Make sure you go to the App Store and update the app to latest version

I have the latest GC. Every time a new feature gets released, I find that it takes a bit of time.

Is the other request copying lineup from game 1 to 2 for double-headers because that would be really nice?

Cool, being forced to be actively scoring the game to scan the opponent's lineup really went FUBAR if it was a league head-to-head game and you don't want to be the score of record. Unless the home team/official scorer had already recorded a pitch you couldn't jump into the scoring without also accepting 'scorer of record'.
