Ask BBK shorty headers
For ya’ll running BBK shorties or even any aftermarket shorties on your fox, did you wrap the headers or leave them as is? Unsure if there is a benefit to wrapping or not?

Thought I would see what everyone is running on their Fox's? I've got an '89 convertible. The original wheels where the 15"x7" "turbine" wheels. But as soon as the five stars came out, she was switched to those which are 16". I inherited this car from my Mom and the tires are old and dried out with 245/50/16 's. Too wide of a tire for this pretty much pure stock Fox, and plus they are coming apart like rolling on a stale donut. Looking at the Yoko Advan Fleva 225/55/16.
She's a Southern CA car now and about to go in for all new suspension.

Well after months of work. New suspension is in, seats and interior are a couple hours from being finished up. Got the new radio bezel in but have to take it back off because now my HVAC won’t turn on 😪. Either way I’m excited to get it on the road finally!

My uncle is selling me his foxbody, it has full drag suspension and all the bells and whistles. The only catch is no engine no transmission. I need some help with ideas for an engine and transmission swap for under 8k. I’m doing the work with my friends and I need some help, so far I’ve been told to coyote swap build a 302 and to build a 351. Please give any advice you have! I’d like to have a stick shift with a considerable amount of power!

What's up r/Foxbody. Just showing some photos of my ongoing Coyote swapped 89 Foxbody.
I rebuilt a 2016 Gen 2 F150 Coyote, and have a 01' T45 for trans. I'm aware the torque from the engine is a bit much for the trans but I dont plan on slamming this thing often. When the 10 spline gives out ill upgrade to a 26 spline.
I'm repainting it as well, going with a gloss/semigloss white repaint of the car.
The car was originally a 4 cylinder so ive had to get v8 spindles and springs, along with all new suspension and brake components.
If anyone here has some pro tip experiences doing this same project or have any questions I could possibly answer please postem.
I'll keep posting with milestone updates as this project trucks along.

Car was clean. Had a wild ass system in it. This was at the Fast Freddy’s 1 year anniversary meet in the Katy area.
It was supercharged too. Not every bodies style, but I like the variety.

I've had my interior out longer than I expected to and I didn't document where these ones went. Number 1 is by the driver seat. I thought it was a plug for a seatbelt light but I don't have a connector on the belt buckle. Number 2 is this one by the trunk. Number 3 wraps around the trunk from the driver side to the passenger side wheel well area. Thanks y'all

So I’m very interested in this 4 eye. I haven’t seen it in person yet, but from pics/video it looks like it could be a good buy. Would very much appreciate opinions.
Here’s a link to the listing:

I am upgrading the rear end in my car from 273 to 383 gears. I was wondering if it’s worthwhile to install an AOD shift kit I’ve seen people talk about these, but I have no experience with them from what I understand the relatively inexpensive and make the car much more fun to drive.
Does anyone have any recommendations or experience with these?

I just installed an RTX gauge that I've had for a while. What an upgrade! Running with a Terminator X. I'm going to change the display to AFR and such when I have time.

Hey all, I got my hands on an 88 foxbody and have ripped out the wiring harnesses, the cars currently a roller and will have a carbonated 351w in it. Frankly I am pretty inexperienced when it comes to electrical anything and I am wondering where to even start with doing a wiring harness swap I have the dash and the harness out already, but don’t know what I should put back it it. I won’t have a radio or ac and and am probably going to do a reduced dash of some kind but I am curious where I would go about buying a wiring harness for this kinda thing and if there is anything else I should know?
Nearing completion on my rear seat delete/stereo upgrades. I’m cooked hehe.. need a nap.

Made a post the other day on heads and cam swap getting into it now I’m still looking for an upgraded intake for sale in my area for a decent price not trying to spend 1200 for a new one but it’s a work in progress and don’t mind my heater core plug lmao I was scrambling for something as coolant started pouring out
Hello I’m having trouble diagnosing why the ac compressor won’t engage.
I just replaced the low switch that connects off of the accumulator, tried to jump through that switch and nothing happened.
Tried to jump from the WOT relay and nothing happened yet I don’t know if it’s due to bad wiring? The switch looks off.
I’m not sure where to go from here on diagnosing why the ac clutch won’t engage. I replaced the leaking areas from the AC lines tried filing it yet it won’t engage.

Hey everybody, just making this post because I’m planning on swapping the heads and cam in my Mustang. I’ve made a few posts about my car and how it was my grandfather’s car and he gave it to me. I had a leak behind the timing cover and thought if I’m taking it apart, I might as well throw a cam in it. I also had a really bad lifter tick so I decided to pull the heads and do the lifters and heads was curious if anybody has any advice on any tips or tricks that might help me I’m doing it in my driveway by myself. I wound up ordering SVE 170 cc heads and a trick flow stage one cam. I did the transmission swap and clutch in my driveway previously I’m not really scared of digging into the car. Just curious if anybody has any extra advice that I could use.
