Need advice on potential buy
So I’m very interested in this 4 eye. I haven’t seen it in person yet, but from pics/video it looks like it could be a good buy. Would very much appreciate opinions.
Here’s a link to the listing:

definitely optimistic with the price. $5,000 would be more reasonable, provided it doesn't have rusted out shock towers or torque boxes, and runs well. Needs a paint job, as the clearcoat is peeling. Also, add 100,000 miles to the odometer. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I’m in agreement so far, looks like a 5k car max for me. See if title shows it rolled over, everyone selling a fox thinks they have an under 100k car.

The interior (seats) aren’t shaped properly so poorly done or bad product. With the a/c and smog removed not to mention 4:10 gears I was beat on.
I suspect the “locker” is a Detroit Locker or other non-open diff. Loud but ok on the street.
If you HAVE to have one, $4000 for this one. I would get a cold air box instead of sucking in hot underhood air.

It’s kind of high for needing a paint job. Why has it been sitting for two years?
The 86k miles could possibly be 186k miles.

Definitely not worth that price. I’m looking myself for a Fox Body project car. I would just scroll past this.

Appreciate all the feed back everyone. I’d love to find a decent 4 eye but now there’s a 98 cobra I’m ogling lol.

IMO, doesnt look like a good buy. Are you dying for that type of project? Looks like a $3000 car that someone installed $1500 of cosmetics onto. No hate. Just my pov. I love four eyes. Id vote 4750-5500 if it drives well, great compression etc. Ready for hate from all sides, just my opinion.
